¹ And it came to pass, on the day when Moses made an end of rearing up the habitation and anointing it, and hallowing it, and all the furniture thereof, and the altar, and all the utensils thereof,both of anointing them, and hallowing them,

¹ E aconteceu, no dia em que Moisés acabou de levantar o tabernáculo, e o ungiu, e o santificou, e a todos os seus utensílios, e também ao altar e a todos os seus utensílios, e os ungiu, e os santificou,

² that the princes of Israel, the heads of their ancestral houses, made an offering,they being princes of the tribes, they being the inert who stood over them who were numbered:

³ yea then brought they in as their offering, before Yahwehsix covered waggons, and twelve oxen, a waggon for every two of the princes and an ox for each one,yea they brought them near before the habitation.

⁴ Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

⁵ Take of them, so shall they be for doing the laborious work of the ten of meeting,and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to the need of his laborious work.

⁵ Toma as ofertas deles, e serão para servir no ministério do tabernáculo da congregação; e as darás aos levitas, a cada homem segundo o seu ministério.

⁶ So Moses took the waggons, and the oxen,and gave them unto the Levites:

⁶ E Moisés tomou as carruagens e os bois, e os deu aos levitas.

⁷ two of the waggons and four of the oxen, gave he unto the sons of Gershon,according to the need of their laborious work;

⁷ Deu duas carruagens e quatro bois aos filhos de Gérson, segundo o seu ministério;

⁸ and four of the waggons, and eight of the oxen, gave he unto the sons of Merari,according to the need of their laborious work, in the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest;

⁸ e deu quatro carruagens e oito bois aos filhos de Merari, segundo o seu ministério, sob a mão de Itamar, filho de Arão, o sacerdote.

⁹ but, unto the sons of Kohath, gave he none,because as to the laborious work of the sanctuary which pertained unto them, upon their shoulders, were they to carry it.

⁹ Mas aos filhos de Coate nada deu, porque o serviço do santuário pertencia a eles, e o levavam nos ombros.

¹⁰ So then the princes offered for the dedication of the altar, on the day it was anointed,yea the princes offered their oblation before the altar,

¹⁰ E os príncipes ofereceram para a consagração do altar, no dia em que ele foi ungido; e os príncipes ofereceram a sua oferta diante do altar.

¹¹ And Yahweh said unto Moses: Each prince on his appointed day, thus shall they offer their oblation, for the dedication of the altar.

¹² And so it was, that, he who on the first day, offered his oblation,was Nahshon son of Amminadab of the tribe of Judah;

¹⁸ On the second day, Nethanel, son of Zuar, prince of Issachar, brought his offering.

⁸⁵ a hundred and thirty , by the shekel of the sanctuary;

⁸⁸ and all the herd for the peace-offering, twenty-four bullocks sixty rams, sixty he-goats sixty he-lambs of the first year,this, was the offering for the dedication of the altar, after it was anointed.

⁸⁸ e todos os bois para o sacrifício pacífico foram vinte e quatro novilhos; sessenta carneiros, sessenta bodes, e sessenta cordeiros de um ano. Esta foi a consagração do altar, depois que foi ungido.

⁸⁹ And when Moses entered into the tent of meeting, that He might speak with him, then heard he the Voice speaking unto him from off the propitiatory that was upon the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim,so He spake unto him.

⁸⁹ E, quando Moisés entrou no tabernáculo da congregação para falar com Ele, ouviu a voz de quem lhe falava do propiciatório, que está sobre a arca do testemunho, entre os dois querubins; e Ele falou-lhe.
