1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
1 Falou mais o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo:
2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, when ye come into the land of Canaan, shall this be the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance: The land of Canaan according to its boundaries.
2 Dá ordem aos filhos de Israel e dize-lhes: Quando entrardes na terra de Canaã, esta há de ser a terra que vos cairá em herança: a terra de Canaã, segundo os seus termos.
3 And the southern side shall be unto you from the wilderness of Zin along by the boundary of Edom, and your southern border shall commence at the outmost edge of the Salt Sea on its east side.
3 A banda do sul vos será desde o deserto de Zim até aos termos de Edom; e o termo do sul vos será desde a extremidade do mar Salgado para a banda do oriente,
4 And the border shall turn for you from the south of the ascent of ‘Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin; and its terminating points shall be to the south of Kadesh–barnea’, and shall go on to Chazar–addar, and pass on to Azmon;
4 e este termo vos irá rodeando do sul para a subida de Acrabim e passará até Zim; e as suas saídas serão do sul a Cades-Barneia; e sairá a Hazar-Adar e passará a Azmom;
5 And the border shall turn from ‘Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and its terminating points shall be at the sea.
5 rodeará mais este termo de Azmom até ao rio do Egito; e as suas saídas serão para a banda do mar.
6 And as the western border, shall ye have the Great Sea for a border: this shall be your western border.
6 Acerca do termo do ocidente, o mar Grande vos será por termo; este vos será o termo do ocidente.
7 And this shall be unto you the northern border: from the Great Sea shall ye mark out for you the boundary to mount Hor;
7 E este vos será o termo do norte: desde o mar Grande marcareis até ao monte Hor.
8 From mount Hor shall ye mark out the boundary unto the entrance of Chamath; and the terminations of the border shall be toward Zedad;
8 Desde o monte Hor, marcareis até à entrada de Hamate; e as saídas deste termo serão até Zedade.
9 And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and its terminating points shall be at Chazar’–enan: this shall be unto you the northern border.
9 E este termo sairá até Zifrom, e as suas saídas serão em Hazar-Enã; este vos será o termo do norte.
10 And ye shall turn yourselves to the eastern border, from Chazar–’enan to Shepham;
10 E por termo da banda do oriente marcareis de Hazar-Enã até Sefã.
11 And the boundary shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, to the eastward of ‘Ayin; and the boundary shall descend, and shall touch upon the coast of the sea of Kinnereth, eastward;
11 E este termo descerá desde Sefã até Ribla, para a banda do oriente de Aim; depois, descerá este termo e irá ao longo da borda do mar de Quinerete para a banda do oriente.
12 And the border shall go down to the Jordan, and its terminating points shall be at the Salt Sea: this shall be your land after its boundaries round about.
12 Descerá também este termo ao longo do Jordão, e as suas saídas serão no mar Salgado; esta vos será a terra, segundo os seus termos em roda.
13 And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall divide among yourselves by lot, which the Lord hath commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe.
13 E Moisés deu ordem aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Esta é a terra que tomareis em sorte por herança, a qual o Senhor mandou dar às nove tribos e à meia tribo.
14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their family divisions, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their family divisions, have received,––and the half of the tribe of Menasseh have received their inheritance;
14 Porque a tribo dos filhos dos rubenitas, segundo a casa de seus pais, e a tribo dos filhos dos gaditas, segundo a casa de seus pais, já receberam; também a meia tribo de Manassés recebeu a sua herança.
15 The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan opposite Jericho eastward, toward the rising of the sun.
15 Já duas tribos e meia tribo receberam a sua herança daquém do Jordão, de Jericó, da banda do oriente, ao nascente.
16 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
16 Falou mais o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo:
17 These are the names of the men who shall parcel out unto you the land: Elazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
17 Estes são os nomes dos homens que vos repartirão a terra por herança: Eleazar, o sacerdote, e Josué, filho de Num.
18 And one prince each from every tribe shall ye take to parcel out the land.
18 Tomareis mais de cada tribo um príncipe, para repartir a terra em herança.
19 And these are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Yephunneh:
19 E estes são os nomes dos homens: da tribo de Judá, Calebe, filho de Jefoné;
20 And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of ‘Ammihud;
20 e, da tribo dos filhos de Simeão, Samuel, filho de Amiúde;
21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Kisslon;
21 da tribo de Benjamim, Elidade, filho de Quislom;
22 And of the tribe of the children of Dan the prince, Bukki the son of Yogli;
22 e, da tribo dos filhos de Dã, o príncipe Buqui, filho de Jogli;
23 Of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Menasseh the prince, Channiel the son of Ephod;
23 dos filhos de José, da tribo dos filhos de Manassés, o príncipe Haniel, filho de Éfode;
24 And of the tribe of the children of Ephraim the prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan;
24 e, da tribo dos filhos de Efraim, o príncipe Quemuel, filho de Siftã;
25 And of the tribe of the children of Zebulun the prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach;
25 e, da tribo dos filhos de Zebulom, o príncipe Elizafã, filho de Parnaque;
26 And of the tribe of the children of Issachar the prince, Paltiel the son of ‘Azzan;
26 e, da tribo dos filhos de Issacar, o príncipe Paltiel, filho de Azã;
27 And of the tribe of the children of Asher the prince, Achihud the son of Shelomi;
27 e, da tribo dos filhos de Aser, o príncipe Aiude, filho de Selomi;
28 And of the tribe of the children of Naphtali the prince, Pedahel the son of ‘Ammihud.
28 e, da tribo dos filhos de Naftali, o príncipe Pedael, filho de Amiúde.
29 These are they whom the Lord hath commanded to divide out the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
29 Estes são aqueles a quem o Senhor ordenou que repartissem a herança pelos filhos de Israel na terra de Canaã.
