1 The LORD said to Moses,
1 Falou mais o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:
2 "Command the people of Israel, and say to them, When you enter the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, the land of Canaan in its full extent),
2 Dá ordem aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Quando entrardes na terra de Canaã, esta há de ser a terra que vos cairá em herança; a terra de Canaã, segundo os seus termos.
3 your south side shall be from the wilderness of Zin along the side of Edom, and your southern boundary shall be from the end of the Salt Sea on the east;
3 O lado do sul vos será desde o deserto de Zim até aos termos de Edom; e o termo do sul vos será desde a extremidade do Mar Salgado para o lado do oriente.
4 and your boundary shall turn south of the ascent of Akrab'bim, and cross to Zin, and its end shall be south of Ka'desh-bar'nea; then it shall go on to Ha'zar-ad'dar, and pass along to Azmon;
4 E este limite vos irá rodeando do sul para a subida de Acrabim, e passará até Zim; e as suas saídas serão do sul a Cades-Barnéia; e sairá a Hazar-Adar, e passará a Azmom;
5 and the boundary shall turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and its termination shall be at the sea.
5 Rodeará mais este limite de Azmom até ao rio do Egito; e as suas saídas serão para o lado do mar.
6 "For the western boundary, you shall have the Great Sea and its coast; this shall be your western boundary.
6 Quanto ao limite do ocidente, o Mar Grande vos será por limite; este vos será o limite do ocidente.
7 "This shall be your northern boundary: from the Great Sea you shall mark out your line to Mount Hor;
7 E este vos será o termo do norte: desde o Mar Grande marcareis até ao monte Hor.
8 from Mount Hor you shall mark it out to the entrance of Hamath, and the end of the boundary shall be at Zeded;
8 Desde o monte Hor marcareis até à entrada de Hamate; e as saídas deste termo serão até Zedade.
9 then the boundary shall extend to Ziphron, and its end shall be at Ha'zar-e'nan; this shall be your northern boundary.
9 E este limite seguirá até Zifrom, e as suas saídas serão em Hazar-Enã; este vos será o termo do norte.
10 "You shall mark out your eastern boundary from Ha'zar-e'nan to Shepham;
10 E por limite do lado do oriente marcareis de Hazar-Enã até Sefã.
11 and the boundary shall go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of A'in; and the boundary shall go down, and reach to the shoulder of the sea of Chin'nereth on the east;
11 E este limite descerá desde Sefã até Ribla, para o lado do oriente de Aim; depois descerá este termo, e irá ao longo da borda do mar de Quinerete para o lado do oriente.
12 and the boundary shall go down to the Jordan, and its end shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land with its boundaries all round."
12 Descerá também este limite ao longo do Jordão, e as suas saídas serão no Mar Salgado; esta vos será a terra, segundo os seus limites ao redor.
13 Moses commanded the people of Israel, saying, "This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which the LORD has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe;
13 E Moisés deu ordem aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Esta é a terra que herdareis por sorte, a qual o Senhor mandou dar às nove tribos e à meia tribo.
14 for the tribe of the sons of Reuben by fathers' houses and the tribe of the sons of Gad by their fathers' houses have received their inheritance, and also the half-tribe of Manas'seh;
14 Porque a tribo dos filhos dos rubenitas, segundo a casa de seus pais, e a tribo dos filhos dos gaditas, segundo a casa de seus pais, já receberam; também a meia tribo de Manassés recebeu a sua herança.
15 the two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise."
15 Já duas tribos e meia tribo receberam a sua herança aquém do Jordão, na direção de Jericó, do lado do oriente, ao nascente.
16 The LORD said to Moses,
16 Falou mais o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo:
17 "These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Elea'zar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun.
17 Estes são os nomes dos homens que vos repartirão a terra por herança: Eleazar, o sacerdote, e Josué, filho de Num.
18 You shall take one leader of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.
18 Tomareis mais de cada tribo um príncipe, para repartir a terra em herança.
19 These are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephun'neh.
19 E estes são os nomes dos homens: Da tribo de Judá, Calebe, filho de Jefoné;
20 Of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemu'el the son of Ammi'hud.
20 E, da tribo dos filhos de Simeão, Samuel, filho de Amiúde;
21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Eli'dad the son of Chislon.
21 Da tribo de Benjamim, Elidade, filho de Quislom;
22 Of the tribe of the sons of Dan a leader, Bukki the son of Jogli.
22 E, da tribo dos filhos de Dã, o príncipe Buqui, filho de Jogli;
23 Of the sons of Joseph: of the tribe of the sons of Manas'seh a leader, Han'niel the son of Ephod.
23 Dos filhos de José, da tribo dos filhos de Manassés, o príncipe Haniel, filho de Éfode;
24 And of the tribe of the sons of E'phraim a leader, Kemu'el the son of Shiphtan.
24 E, da tribo dos filhos de Efraim, o príncipe Quemuel, filho de Siftã;
25 Of the tribe of the sons of Zeb'ulun a leader, Eli-za'phan the son of Parnach.
25 E, da tribo dos filhos de Zebulom, o príncipe Elizafã, filho de Parnaque;
26 Of the tribe of the sons of Is'sachar a leader, Pal'tiel the son of Azzan.
26 E, da tribo dos filhos de Issacar, o príncipe Paltiel, filho de Azã;
27 And of the tribe of the sons of Asher a leader, Ahi'hud the son of Shelo'mi.
27 E, da tribo dos filhos de Aser, o príncipe Aiúde, filho de Selomi;
28 Of the tribe of the sons of Naph'tali a leader, Pedah'el the son of Ammi'hud.
28 E, da tribo dos filhos de Naftali, o príncipe Pedael, filho de Amiúde.
29 These are the men whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance for the people of Israel in the land of Canaan."
29 Estes são aqueles a quem o Senhor ordenou, que repartissem as heranças aos filhos de Israel na terra de Canaã.
