1 Now, these, were the pedigrees of Aaron and Moses,in the day when Yahweh spake with Moses in Mount Sinai.
1 Esta é a história da descendência de Arão e de Moisés, quando o Senhor falou com Moisés no monte Sinai.
2 And these, are the names of the sons of Aaronthe firstborn Nadab,and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 Os nomes dos filhos de Arão são Nadabe, o mais velho, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.
3 These, are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests that were anointed,who were installed to minister as priests.
3 São esses os nomes dos filhos de Arão, que foram ungidos para o sacerdócio e que foram ordenados sacerdotes.
4 But Nadab and Abihu died before Yahweh when they brought near strange fire before Yahweh in the desert of Sinai, and sons, had they none,so then Eleazar and Ithamar ministered as priests, in the presence of Aaron their father.
4 Nadabe e Abiú, entretanto, caíram mortos perante o Senhor quando lhe trouxeram uma oferta com fogo profano, no deserto do Sinai. Como não tinham filhos, somente Eleazar e Itamar serviram como sacerdotes durante a vida de Arão, seu pai.
5 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying

6 Bring near the tribe of Levi, and thou shalt cause it to stand before Aaron the priest,so shall they wait upon him;
6 "Mande chamar a tribo de Levi e apresente-a ao sacerdote Arão para auxiliá-lo.
7 so shall they keep his charge, and the charge of all the assembly, before the tent of meeting,to do the laborious work of the habitation;
7 Eles cuidarão das obrigações próprias da Tenda do Encontro, fazendo o serviço do tabernáculo para Arão e para toda a comunidade.
8 so shall they have charge of all the furniture of the tent of meeting, even the charge of the sons of Israel,to do the laborious work of the habitation.
8 Tomarão conta de todos os utensílios da Tenda do Encontro, cumprindo as obrigações dos israelitas no serviço do tabernáculo.
9 Thus shalt thou give the Levites unto Aaron and unto his sons,given, given, they are unto him, from among the sons of Israel;
9 Dedique os levitas a Arão e a seus filhos; eles serão escolhidos entre os israelitas para serem inteiramente dedicados a Arão.
10 but unto Aaron, and unto his sons, shalt thou give oversight, so shall they keep charge of their priesthood,and, the stranger who cometh near, shall be put to death.
10 Encarregue Arão e os seus filhos de cuidar do sacerdócio; qualquer pessoa não autorizada que se aproximar do santuário terá que ser executada".
11 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying
11 Disse também o Senhor a Moisés:
12 I, therefore, lo! I have taken the Levites out of the midst of the sons of Israel, instead of every firstborn that a mother beareth, from among the sons of Israel,so shall the Levites be mine;
12 "Eu mesmo escolho os levitas dentre os israelitas em lugar do primeiro filho de cada mulher israelita. Os levitas são meus,
13 for, mine, is every firstborn, in the day when I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt, hallowed unto myself every firstborn in Israel, both of man and of beast,mine, did they become, and belong unto me, Yahweh.
13 pois todos os primogênitos são meus. Quando feri todos os primogênitos no Egito, separei para mim mesmo todo primogênito de Israel, tanto entre os homens como entre os rebanhos. Serão meus. Eu sou o Senhor".
14 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, in the desert of Sinai, saying:
14 E o Senhor disse ainda a Moisés no deserto do Sinai:
15 Number thou the sons of Levi, by their ancestral houses, by their families,every male, from one month old and upwards, shalt thou number them.
15 "Conte os levitas pelas suas famílias e clãs. Serão contados todos os do sexo masculino de um mês de idade para cima".
16 So then Moses numbered them according to the bidding of Yahweh,as he was commanded.
16 Então Moisés os contou, conforme a ordem que recebera do Senhor.
17 And these were the sons of Levi, by their names,Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
17 São estes os nomes dos filhos de Levi: Gérson, Coate e Merari.
18 And these, the names of the sons of Gershon by their families,Libni and Shimei.
18 São estes os nomes dos clãs gersonitas: Libni e Simei.
19 And, the sons of Kohath, by their families Amram, and Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.
19 São estes os nomes dos clãs coatitas: Anrão, Isar, Hebrom e Uziel.
20 And the sons of Merari by their families, Mahli and Mushi. These, are theythe families of the Levites by their ancestral houses.
20 E estes são os nomes dos clãs meraritas: Mali e Musi. Foram esses os líderes dos clãs levitas.
21 To, Gershon, belonged the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimeites,these, are theythe families of the Gershonites.
21 A Gérson pertenciam os clãs dos libnitas e dos simeítas; eram esses os clãs gersonitas.
22 They who were numbered of them in the counting of every male, from one month old, and upwards,they who were num-bered of them, were seven thousand and five hundred.
22 O número de todos os que foram contados do sexo masculino, de um mês de idade para cima, foi 7. 500.
23 the families of the Gershonites, to the rear of the habitation, were to encamp, westward.
23 Os clãs gersonitas tinham que acampar a oeste, atrás do tabernáculo.
24 And, the prince of the ancestral house of the Gershonites, was Eliasaph son of Lael.
24 O líder das famílias dos gersonitas era Eliasafe, filho de Lael.
25 And, the charge, of the sons of Gershon, was over the tent of meeting, the habitation, and the tent,the covering thereof, and the screen for the entrance of the tent of meeting;
25 Na Tenda do Encontro os gersonitas tinham a responsabilidade de cuidar do tabernáculo, da tenda, da sua cobertura, da cortina da entrada da Tenda do Encontro,
26 and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the entrance of the court which was near the habitation and near the altar, round about,and the cords thereof, as to all the laborious work thereof.
26 das cortinas externas do pátio, da cortina da entrada do pátio que rodeia o tabernáculo e o altar, das cordas, e de tudo o que estava relacionado com esse serviço.
27 And to Kohath, belonged the family of the Amramites and the family of the Izharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites,these, are theythe families of the Kohathites.
27 A Coate pertenciam os clãs dos anramitas, dos isaritas, dos hebronitas e dos uzielitas; eram esses os clãs coatitas.
28 In, the counting of every male, from one month old and upwards, there were eight thousand and six hundred, to keep the charge of the sanctuary.
28 O número de todos os do sexo masculino, de um mês de idade para cima, foi 8. 600. Os coatitas tinham a responsabilidade de cuidar do santuário.
29 The, families of the sons of Kohath, were to encamp,on the side of the habitation, south-ward.
29 Os clãs coatitas tinham que acampar no lado sul do tabernáculo.
30 And the prince of the ancestral house of the families of the Kohathites, was Elizaphan, son of Uzziel.
30 O líder das famílias dos clãs coatitas era Elisafã, filho de Uziel.
31 And their charge, wasthe ark and the table and the lampstand and the altars, and the utensils of the sanctuary wherewith they were to minister,and the screen, as to all the laborious work thereof.
31 Tinham a responsabilidade de cuidar da arca, da mesa, do candelabro, dos altares, dos utensílios do santuário com os quais ministravam, da cortina e de tudo o que estava relacionado com esse serviço.
32 And the prince of the princes of the Levites, was Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest,to have the oversight of them that were to keep the charge of the sanctuary.
32 O principal líder dos levitas era Eleazar, filho do sacerdote Arão. Ele tinha a responsabilidade de supervisionar os encarregados de cuidar do santuário.
33 To Merari, belonged the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites,these, are theythe families of Merari.
33 A Merari pertenciam os clãs dos malitas e dos musitas; eram esses os clãs meraritas.
34 And they who were numbered of them in the counting of every male, from one month old and upwards, were six thousand, and two hundred.
34 O número de todos os que foram contados do sexo masculino, de um mês de idade para cima, foi 6. 200.
35 And the prince of the ancestral house of the families of Merari, was Zuriel son of Abihail,on the side of the habitation, were they to encamp northward.
35 O líder das famílias dos clãs meraritas era Zuriel, filho de Abiail; eles tinham que acampar no lado norte do tabernáculo.
36 And the oversight of the charge of the sons of Merari, wasthe boards of the habitation, and the bars thereof and the pillars thereof and the sockets thereof,and all the furniture thereof, as to all the laborious work thereof;
36 Os meraritas tinham a responsabilidade de cuidar das armações do tabernáculo, de seus travessões, das colunas, das bases, de todos os seus utensílios e de tudo o que estava relacionado com esse serviço,
37 also the pillars of the court round about and their sockets,and their pins and their cords.
37 bem como das colunas do pátio ao redor, com suas bases, suas estacas e suas cordas.
38 But, they who were to encamp before the habitation eastwards before the tent of meeting, towards sunrise, were Moses and Aaron and his sons. to keep the charge of the sanctuary, as the charge of the sons of Israel and, the stranger that came near, was to be put to death.
38 E acamparam a leste do tabernáculo, em frente da Tenda do Encontro, Moisés, Arão e seus filhos. Tinham a responsabilidade de cuidar do santuário em favor dos israelitas. Qualquer pessoa não autorizada que se aproximasse do santuário teria que ser executado.
39 All they who were numbered of the Levites whom Moses
39 O número total de levitas contados por Moisés e Arão, conforme a ordem do Senhor, segundo os clãs deles, todos os do sexo masculino, de um mês de idade para cima, foi 22. 000.
40 And Yahweh said unto Moses: Number thou every firstborn male belonging to the sons of Israel, from one month old and upwards,and reckon up the number of their names;
40 E o Senhor disse a Moisés: "Conte todos os primeiros filhos dos israelitas, do sexo masculino, de um mês de idade para cima e faça uma relação de seus nomes.
41 then shalt thou take the Levites for me, me Yahweh, instead of every firstborn among the sons of Ishmael,also the cattle of the Levites, instead of every firstling among the cattle of the sons of Israel.
41 Dedique a mim os levitas em lugar de todos os primogênitos dos israelitas, e os rebanhos dos levitas, em lugar de todas as primeiras crias dos rebanhos dos israelitas. Eu sou o Senhor".
42 So then Moses numbered, as Yahweh commanded him,every firstborn among the sons of Israel.
42 E Moisés contou todos os primeiros filhos dos israelitas, conforme o Senhor lhe havia ordenado.
43 And it was sothat all the firstborn of the males in the counting of names from one month old and upwards of such as were numbered of them,were two-and-twenty thousand, two hundred and seventy-three.
43 O número total dos primeiros filhos do sexo masculino, de um mês de idade para cima, relacionados pelo nome, foi 22. 273.
44 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:
44 Disse também o Senhor a Moisés:
45 Take the Levites, instead of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites, instead of their cattle,so shall the Levites belong unto me, me Yahweh;
45 "Dedique os levitas em lugar de todos os primogênitos dos israelitas, e os rebanhos dos levitas em lugar dos rebanhos dos israelitas. Os levitas serão meus. Eu sou o Senhor.
46 and as the ransom of the two hundred and seventy-three,who are mere than the Levites, of the firstborn of the sons of Israel,
46 Para o resgate dos primeiros 273 filhos dos israelitas que excedem o número de levitas,
47 thou shalt take five shekels apiece by the poll,by the shekel of the sanctuary, shalt thou take it, twenty gerahs to the shekel;
47 recolha sessenta gramas de prata, com base no peso padrão do santuário, que são doze gramas.
48 and shalt give the silver to Aaron and to his sons,as the ransom of them that are in excess over them.
48 Entregue a Arão e aos seus filhos a prata para o resgate do número excedente de israelitas".
49 So Moses took the redemption silver from them who were in excess over them who were redeemed by the Levites:
49 Assim Moisés recolheu a prata para o resgate daqueles que excederam o número dos levitas.
50 from the firstborn of the sons of Israel, took he the silver,a thousand three hundred and sixty-five shekels, by the shekel of the sanctuary,
50 Dos primeiros filhos dos israelitas ele recolheu prata no peso de quase dezesseis quilos e meio, com base no peso padrão do santuário.
51 And Moses gave the redemption silver to Aaron and to his sons at the bidding of Yahweh,As Yahweh commanded Moses.
51 Moisés entregou a Arão e aos filhos dele a prata para o resgate, conforme a ordem que recebera do Senhor.
