1 Jehovah said to Aaron: »You, your sons, and your family will be responsible for any sins against the holy place. You and your sons will also be responsible for any sins you commit when you work as priests.
1 O Senhor disse a Arão: — Você, os seus filhos e a casa de seu pai levarão sobre si a iniquidade com relação ao santuário; você e os seus filhos levarão sobre si a iniquidade com relação ao sacerdócio.
2 »Bring the other Levites from your ancestor’s tribe to join you and help you and your sons serve in front of the tent of the words of my promise.
2 Traga também os seus irmãos, a tribo de Levi, a tribo de seu pai, para que se ajuntem a você e o sirvam, quando você e os seus filhos estiverem diante da tenda do testemunho.
3 »They are to fulfill their duties to you and their responsibilities for the tent. However they must not have any contact with sacred objects in the Holy Place or with the altar. If they do, both they and you will be put to death.
3 Eles farão o serviço que devem prestar a você e à tenda, mas não deverão se aproximar dos utensílios do santuário, nem do altar, para que não sejam mortos, nem eles, nem vocês.
4 »They are to work with you and fulfill their responsibilities for all the service in the tent. No unqualified person may work with you.
4 Eles se ajuntarão a você e farão todo o serviço da tenda do encontro; o estranho, porém, não deverá se aproximar de vocês.
5 »You and your sons alone must fulfill the responsibilities for the Holy Place and the altar. That way my anger will not again break out against the people of Israel.
5 Portanto, vocês farão o serviço do santuário e do altar, para que não haja outra vez ira contra os filhos de Israel.
6 »I chose the other Levites from among the Israelites to help you. They are a gift given to Jehovah to do the necessary work at the tent of meeting.
6 Eis que eu tomei os irmãos de vocês, os levitas, do meio dos filhos de Israel; eles são dados a vocês como dádiva ao Senhor , para servirem na tenda do encontro.
7 »Only you and your sons may do the work of priests, everything done at the altar and under the canopy. This is my gift to you: You may serve me as priests. Anyone else who comes near the holy place to do this work must die.«
7 Mas você e os seus filhos atenderão ao seu sacerdócio em tudo o que diz respeito ao altar, e ao que estiver para dentro do véu; este é o serviço de vocês. Eu lhes dou o seu ofício sacerdotal como dádiva; porém o estranho que se aproximar será morto.
8 Jehovah said to Aaron: »I have placed you in charge of all the contributions given to me. I have given you and your descendants all the holy gifts from the Israelites as your share. These contributions will be yours from generation to generation.
8 O Senhor disse a Arão: — Eis que eu dei a você o que foi separado das minhas ofertas, com todas as coisas consagradas dos filhos de Israel; dei-as por direito perpétuo como porção a você e aos seus filhos.
9 »That part of the most holy offerings that is not burned belongs to you. It may come from a grain offering, an offering for sin, or a guilt offering. Whatever is brought to me, as a most holy offering will belong to you and your sons.
9 Das coisas santíssimas que não forem queimadas isto será seu: todas as ofertas deles, com todas as ofertas de cereais, com todas as ofertas pelo pecado e com todas as ofertas pela culpa, que eles me apresentarem, serão coisas santíssimas para você e para os seus filhos.
10 »Eat it in a most holy place. Any male may eat it. You must consider it holy.
10 Você deve comer essas coisas num lugar santíssimo; todos os homens poderão comer; isso será algo santo para você.
11 »The contributions that come as gifts taken from the offerings presented by the Israelites are also yours. I give these to you, your sons, and your daughters. They will be yours from generation to generation. Anyone in your household who is clean may eat them.
11 — Também isto será seu: a oferta das dádivas que eles trouxerem com todas as ofertas movidas dos filhos de Israel, as quais dou a você, aos seus filhos e às suas filhas, por direito perpétuo. Todos os da sua casa que estiverem puros poderão comer dessas coisas.
12 »I also give you the first of the produce they give Jehovah. It is the best of all the olive oil and the best of the new wine and fresh grain.
12 Todo o melhor do azeite, do vinho e dos cereais, as primícias que eles derem ao Senhor , eu dei a você.
13 »The first of all produce harvested in their land that they bring to Jehovah are yours. Anyone in your household who is clean may eat it.
13 Os primeiros frutos de tudo o que houver na terra, que eles trouxerem ao Senhor , serão de você. Todos os da sua casa que estiverem puros poderão comer dessas coisas.
14 »Anything in Israel that is claimed by Jehovah is yours.
14 Tudo o que em Israel tiver sido consagrado por completo a Deus será seu.
15 »Every firstborn male, human or animal that is brought to Jehovah is yours. But you must buy back every firstborn son and the firstborn male of any unclean animal.
15 — Todo primeiro filho que nascer, tanto de homens como de animais, que os filhos de Israel trouxerem ao Senhor , será seu. Porém os primogênitos dos homens você deve resgatar, e o mesmo vale para os primogênitos dos animais impuros.
16 »When they are one month old, you must buy them back at the fixed price of two ounces of silver using the standard weight of the holy place.
16 O resgate será feito quando tiverem um mês de idade e será segundo esta avaliação: por sessenta gramas de prata, segundo o peso padrão do santuário, que é de doze gramas.
17 »You must never buy back a firstborn bull, sheep, or goat. They are holy. Throw the blood from these animals against the altar. Burn the fat as an offering by fire, a soothing aroma to Jehovah.
17 Mas o primogênito do gado, o primogênito de ovelhas ou o primogênito de cabra você não deve resgatar; são santos; você aspergirá o sangue deles sobre o altar e a sua gordura você queimará em oferta queimada de aroma agradável ao Senhor .
18 »The meat is yours, like the breast and the right thigh that are presented.
18 A carne deles será sua, assim como será seu o peito movido e a coxa direita.
19 »I have given you, your sons, and your daughters all the holy contributions which the Israelites offer to Jehovah. These contributions will be yours from generation to generation. It is an everlasting promise of salt in Jehovah’s presence for you and your descendants.«
19 — Todas as ofertas sagradas, que os filhos de Israel oferecerem ao Senhor , eu dou a você, aos seus filhos e às suas filhas, por direito perpétuo. Esta é uma aliança perpétua de sal diante do Senhor , para você e para a sua descendência.
20 Jehovah said to Aaron: »You will have no land or property of your own as the other Israelites will have. I am your possession and your property among the Israelites.
20 O Senhor disse também a Arão: — Na terra deles você não terá nenhuma herança e, no meio deles, você não terá nenhuma porção. Eu sou a sua porção e a sua herança no meio dos filhos de Israel.
21 »I have given the Levites one-tenth of every Israelite’s income. This is in return for the work they do at the tent of meeting.
21 — Aos filhos de Levi dei todos os dízimos em Israel por herança, pelo serviço que prestam, serviço da tenda do encontro.
22 »The other Israelites must never again come near the tent of meeting. Otherwise, they will suffer the consequences of their sin and die.
22 E nunca mais os filhos de Israel se aproximarão da tenda do encontro, para que não levem sobre si o pecado e sejam mortos.
23 »Only the Levites will do the work at the tent of meeting. They are responsible for their own sins. This is a long lasting law for future generations. They will own no property, as the other Israelites will.
23 Mas os levitas farão o serviço da tenda do encontro e responderão por suas faltas; este é um estatuto perpétuo para todas as suas gerações. E os levitas não terão nenhuma herança no meio dos filhos de Israel.
24 »Instead, I will give the Levites what the Israelites contribute to Jehovah, one-tenth of the Israelites’ income. This is why I said about them: They will own no property as the other Israelites do.«
24 Porque os dízimos dos filhos de Israel, que apresentam ao Senhor em oferta, esses eu dei por herança aos levitas; porque eu lhes disse: “Vocês não terão nenhuma herança no meio dos filhos de Israel.”
25 Jehovah said to Moses:
25 O Senhor disse a Moisés:
26 »Speak to the Levites and say to them: ‘You will take one-tenth of the Israelites’ income that I am giving you as your property. When you do, you must contribute one-tenth of that income as your contribution to Jehovah.
26 — Fale aos levitas e diga-lhes o seguinte: Quando vocês receberem dos filhos de Israel os dízimos que eu lhes dou por herança, desses dízimos vocês apresentarão uma oferta ao Senhor : será o dízimo dos dízimos.
27 »‘Your contribution will be considered to be grain from the threshing floor or juice from the winepress.
27 Essa oferta de vocês será considerada como se fosse cereal da eira ou vinho do lagar.
28 »‘You will also contribute one-tenth of your income to Jehovah out of all that you receive from the Israelites’ income. You will give Jehovah’s contribution to the priest Aaron.
28 Assim, também vocês apresentarão ao Senhor uma oferta de todos os dízimos que receberem dos filhos de Israel e deles darão a oferta do Senhor a Arão, o sacerdote.
29 »‘Out of all the gifts you receive, you must contribute the best and holiest parts to Jehovah.’
29 De todas as dádivas que receberem vocês apresentarão toda oferta devida ao Senhor : do melhor delas, a parte que lhe é sagrada.
30 »Also tell them: ‘When you contribute the best part, your contribution will be considered to be produce from the threshing floor or winepress.
30 — Portanto, diga-lhes o seguinte: Quando vocês oferecerem o melhor que há nos dízimos, isso será atribuído aos levitas como se fosse produto da eira ou produto do lagar.
31 »‘You and your households may eat it anywhere. This is because it is the wages you receive for your work at the tent of meeting.
31 Vocês poderão comer isso em qualquer lugar, vocês e as suas famílias, porque é a recompensa pelo serviço de vocês na tenda do encontro.
32 »‘When you contribute the best part, you will not suffer the consequences of any sin. You will not be dishonoring the holy offerings given by the Israelites, and you will not die.’«
32 E vocês não levarão sobre si pecado, quando deles oferecerem o melhor. E não profanem as coisas sagradas dos filhos de Israel, para que não sejam mortos.
