1 And the doughters of Zelaphead the sonne of Heber the sonne of Gilead the sonne of Machir the sonne of Manasse of the kinredes of Manasse the sonne of Ioseph (whose names were Mahela Noa Hagla Melcha and Thirza)
1 E chegaram as filhas de Zelofeade, filho de Hefer, filho de Gileade, filho de Maquir, filho de Manassés, entre as famílias de Manassés, filho de José; e estes são os nomes delas; Maalá, Noa, Hogla, Milca, e Tirza;
2 came and stode before Moses and Eleazer the preast ad before the lordes and all the multitude in the dore of the tabernacle of witnesse sayenge:
2 E apresentaram-se diante de Moisés, e diante de Eleazar, o sacerdote, e diante dos príncipes e de toda a congregação, à porta da tenda da congregação, dizendo:
3 oure father dyed in the wildernesse and was not amonge the companye of them that gathered them selues together agenst the Lorde in the congregacion of Corah: But dyed in his awne synne and had no sonnes.
3 Nosso pai morreu no deserto, e não estava entre os que se congregaram contra o Senhor no grupo de Coré; mas morreu no seu próprio pecado, e não teve filhos.
4 Wherfore shulde the name of oure fathers be taken awaye from amonge hys kynred because he had no sonne? Geue vnto vs a possessyon amonge the brethern of oure father.
4 Por que se tiraria o nome de nosso pai do meio da sua família, porquanto não teve filhos? Dá-nos possessão entre os irmãos de nosso pai.
5 And Moses broughte their cause before the Lorde.
5 E Moisés levou a causa delas perante o Senhor.
6 And ye Lorde spake vnto Moses sayenge:
6 E falou o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo:
7 The doughters of Zelaphead speke righte: thou shalt geue them a possession to enherett amonge their fathers brethern and shall turne the enheritaunce of their father vnto them.
7 As filhas de Zelofeade falam o que é justo; certamente lhes darás possessão de herança entre os irmãos de seu pai; e a herança de seu pai farás passar a elas.
8 And speake vnto the childern of Israel sayenge: Yf a man dye and haue no sonne ye shall turne his enheritaunce vnto his doughter.
8 E falarás aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Quando alguém morrer e não tiver filho, então fareis passar a sua herança à sua filha.
9 Yf he haue no doughter ye shall geue his enheritaunce vnto his brethern.
9 E, se não tiver filha, então a sua herança dareis a seus irmãos.
10 Yf he haue no brethern ye shall geue his enheritaunce vnto his fathers brethern.
10 Porém, se não tiver irmãos, então dareis a sua herança aos irmãos de seu pai.
11 Yf he haue no fathers brethern ye shall geue his enheritaunce vnto him that is nexte to him of his kinred and let him possesse it. And this shalbe vnto the childern of Israel an ordynaunce and a lawe as the Lorde hath commauded Moses.
11 Se também seu pai não tiver irmãos, então dareis a sua herança a seu parente, àquele que lhe for o mais chegado da sua família, para que a possua; isto aos filhos de Israel será por estatuto de direito, como o Senhor ordenou a Moisés.
12 And the Lorde sayed vnto Moses: get ye vpp in to this mount Aabrim and beholde the londe which I haue geuen vnto the children of Israel.
12 Depois disse o Senhor a Moisés: Sobe a este monte de Abarim, e vê a terra que tenho dado aos filhos de Israel.
13 And whe thou hast sene it thou shalt be gathered vnto thy people also as Aaron thy brother was gathered vnto his people.
13 E, tendo-a visto, então serás recolhido ao teu povo, assim como foi recolhido teu irmão Arão;
14 For ye were disobedient vnto my mouthe in the deserte of Zin in ye stryfe of the congregacion that ye sanctified me not in the water before their eyes. That is the water of stryfe in cades in the wildernesse of Zin.
14 Porquanto, no deserto de Zim, na contenda da congregação, fostes rebeldes ao meu mandado de me santificar nas águas diante dos seus olhos (estas são as águas de Meribá de Cades, no deserto de Zim).
15 And Moses spake vnto the Lorde sayenge:
15 Então falou Moisés ao Senhor, dizendo:
16 let the Lorde God of the spirites of all flesh sett a man ouer the congregacion
16 O Senhor, Deus dos espíritos de toda a carne, ponha um homem sobre esta congregação,
17 which maye goo in and out before them and to lede them in and oute that the congregacion of the Lorde be not as a flocke of shepe without a sheparde.
17 Que saia diante deles, e que entre diante deles, e que os faça sair, e que os faça entrar; para que a congregação do Senhor não seja como ovelhas que não têm pastor.
18 And ye Lorde sayed vnto Moses: take Iosua the sonne of Nun in whom there is spirite and put thyne handes apon him
18 Então disse o Senhor a Moisés: Toma a Josué, filho de Num, homem em quem há o Espírito, e impõe a tua mão sobre ele.
19 and set him before Eleazer the preast and before all the congregacion and geue him a charge in their syghte.
19 E apresenta-o perante Eleazar, o sacerdote, e perante toda a congregação, e dá-lhe as tuas ordens na presença deles.
20 And put of thi prayse apon him that all the companye of ye childern of Israel maye heare.
20 E põe sobre ele da tua glória, para que lhe obedeça toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel.
21 And he shall stonde before Eleazer ye preast which shall are councell for him after ye maner of the lighte before ye Lorde: And at the mouth of Eleazer shall both he and all the childern of Israel with him and all the congregacion goo in and out.
21 E apresentar-se-á perante Eleazar, o sacerdote, o qual por ele consultará, segundo o juízo de Urim, perante o Senhor; conforme a sua palavra sairão, e conforme a sua palavra entrarão, ele e todos os filhos de Israel com ele, e toda a congregação.
22 And Moses dyd as the Lorde commauded him and he toke Iosua and sett him before Eleazer the preast and before all the congregacion
22 E fez Moisés como o Senhor lhe ordenara; porque tomou a Josué, e apresentou-o perante Eleazar, o sacerdote, e perante toda a congregação;
23 and put his handes apon him and gaue him a charge as the Lorde commaunded thorow the hande of Moses.
23 E sobre ele impôs as suas mãos, e lhe deu ordens, como o Senhor falara por intermédio de Moisés.
