1 And these are the generations of Aaron and Moses, on the day that the Lord spoke with Moses on mount Sinai.
1 Estas são também as gerações de Arão e de Moisés, no dia em que o SENHOR falou com Moisés, no monte Sinai.
2 And these are the names of the sons of Aaron: the firstborn Nadab, and Abihu, Elazar, and Ithamar.
2 E estes são os nomes dos filhos de Arão: Nadabe, o primogênito, e Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.
3 These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests that were anointed, who were consecrated to minister as priests.
3 Estes são os nomes dos filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes que foram ungidos, a quem ele consagrou para ministrar o sacerdócio.
4 And Nadab and Abihu died before the Lord, when they offered a strange fire before the Lord, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Elazar and Ithamar ministered as priests in the life–time of Aaron their father.
4 E Nadabe e Abiú morreram perante o SENHOR, quando ofereceram fogo estranho perante o SENHOR, no deserto do Sinai; e não tiveram filhos; e Eleazar e Itamar ministraram o sacerdócio diante de Arão, seu pai.
5 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
5 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:
6 Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present the same before Aaron the priest, that they may serve him.
6 Traze a tribo de Levi, e apresenta-os perante o sacerdote Arão, para que possam servi-lo.
7 And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tent of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.
7 E cumprirão as suas obrigações, e as obrigações de toda a congregação, diante do tabernáculo da congregação, para fazer o serviço do tabernáculo.
8 And they shall keep all the vessels of the tent of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
8 E cuidarão de todos os instrumentos do tabernáculo da congregação, e cuidarão dos filhos de Israel, para realizar o serviço do tabernáculo.
9 And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: as associates are they given unto him out of the children of Israel.
9 E darás os levitas a Arão e seus filhos; eles lhe serão dados, de entre os filhos de Israel.
10 And Aaron and his sons shalt thou instruct, that they shall guard well their priest’s office; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
10 E nomearás a Arão e seus filhos, e eles exercerão as funções sacerdotais; e o estranho que se aproximar morrerá.
11 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
11 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:
12 And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from the midst of the children of Israel instead of every first–born that openeth the womb among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine.
12 E eis que tomei os levitas do meio dos filhos de Israel, em lugar de todo o primogênito, que abre a madre entre os filhos de Israel; e os levitas serão meus.
13 Because mine is every first–born; on the day when I smote every first–born in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me every first–born in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be; I am the Lord.
13 Porque meus são todos os primogênitos; porque no dia em que feri todos os primogênitos na terra do Egito, santifiquei para mim todos os primogênitos de Israel, tanto humanos como animais, e serão meus; eu sou o SENHOR.
14 And the Lord spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
14 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, no deserto do Sinai, dizendo:
15 Number the children of Levi after their divisions, by their families; every male of them from a month old and upward shalt thou number.
15 Conta os filhos de Levi, segundo a casa de seus pais, conforme as suas famílias; contarás todos os homens com idade igual ou superior a um mês.
16 And Moses numbered them according to the order of the Lord, as he had been commanded.
16 E Moisés os contou, segundo a palavra do SENHOR, como ele ordenara.
17 And these were the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, and Kehath, and Merari.
17 E estes eram os filhos de Levi, por seus nomes: Gérson, e Coate, e Merari.
18 And these are the names of the sons of Gershon after their families: Libni, and Shimi.
18 E estes são os nomes dos filhos de Gérson, por suas famílias: Libni e Simei.
19 And the sons of Kehath after their families: ‘Amram, and Yizhar, Chebron, and ‘Uzziel.
19 E os filhos de Coate, por suas famílias: Anrão, e Izar, e Hebrom, e Uziel.
20 And the sons of Merari after their families: Machli, and Mushi; these are the families of the Levites according to their family divisions.
20 E os filhos de Merari, por suas famílias: Mali e Musi; estas são as famílias dos levitas, segundo a casa de seus pais.
21 Of Gershon: the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites; these are the families of the Gershunites.
21 De Gérson era a família dos libnitas e a família dos simeítas; estas são as famílias dos gersonitas.
22 Those that were numbered of them, by the numbering of all the males from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them, were seven thousand and five hundred.
22 Os que foram contados entre eles, segundo o número de todos os homens, de idade igual e superior a um mês de idade, os que foram contados entre eles, eram sete mil e quinhentos.
23 The families of the Gershunites used to encamp behind the tabernacle, westward.
23 As famílias dos gersonitas acamparão atrás do tabernáculo, no lado do ocidente.
24 And the prince of the family division of the Gershunites was Elyassaph the son of Lael.
24 E o capitão da casa do pai dos gersonitas será Eliasafe, o filho de Lael.
25 And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation was the tabernacle and the tent, its covering, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
25 E o cargo dos filhos de Gérson no tabernáculo da congregação, será o tabernáculo, e a tenda, e a sua coberta, e a cortina para a porta do tabernáculo da congregação,
26 And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar, round about, and its cords for all the service thereof.
26 e as cortinas do átrio, e a cortina para a porta do átrio, que está ao lado do tabernáculo, e ao redor do altar, e também as suas cordas, para todo o seu serviço.
27 And of Kehath: the family of the ‘Amramites, and the family of the Yizharites, and the family of the Chebronites, and the family of the ‘Uzzielites; these are the families of the Kehathites.
27 E de Coate era a família dos anramitas, e a família dos izaritas, e a família dos hebronitas, e a família dos uzielitas; estas são as famílias dos coatitas.
28 By the numbering of all the males, from a month old and upward, they were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.
28 O número de todos os homens, com idade igual ou superior a um mês, era oito mil e seiscentos cuidando da guarda do santuário.
29 The families of the sons of Kehath used to encamp on the side of the tabernacle, southward.
29 As famílias dos filhos de Coate acamparão do lado sul do tabernáculo.
30 And the prince of the division of the families of the Kehathites was Elizaphan the son of ‘Uzziel.
30 E o capitão da casa do pai das famílias dos coatitas será Elisafã, filho de Uziel.
31 And their charge was the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary which are used for the service, and the vail, and all belonging thereto.
31 E eles deverão cuidar da arca, e da mesa, e do castiçal, e dos altares, e dos utensílios do santuário, com que servem, e a cortina, e todo o serviço.
32 And the chief over the princes of the Levites was Elazar the son of Aaron the priest, having the oversight of those that kept the charge of the sanctuary.
32 E Eleazar, o filho de Arão, o sacerdote, será o capitão dos capitães dos levitas, e supervisor dos que terão o cuidado do santuário.
33 Of Merari: the family of the Machlites, and the family of the Mushites; these are the families of Merari.
33 De Merari era a família dos malitas e a família dos musitas; estas são as famílias de Merari.
34 And those that were numbered of them, by the numbering of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand and two hundred.
34 E os que foram contados entre eles, segundo o número de todos os homens com idade igual ou superior a um mês, eram seis mil e duzentos.
35 And the chief of the division of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abichayil: they used to encamp on the side of the tabernacle, northward.
35 E o chefe da casa do pai das famílias de Merari será Zuriel, filho de Abiail; e eles acamparão do lado norte do tabernáculo.
36 And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari were the boards of the tabernacle, and its bars, and its pillars, and its sockets, and all its vessels, and all that belongeth thereto,
36 E sob a custódia e cargo dos filhos de Merari estarão as tábuas do tabernáculo, e os varais, e as colunas, e as bases, e todos os seus utensílios, e todo o seu serviço,
37 And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.
37 e as colunas do átrio ao redor, e suas bases, e suas estacas, e suas cordas.
38 But those that encamped before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation toward the rising of the sun, were Moses, and Aaron, and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that came nigh was to be put to death.
38 Mas os que acampam diante do tabernáculo, no lado oriental, diante do tabernáculo da congregação, no lado oriental, Moisés, e Arão e seus filhos manterão a guarda do santuário para o cargo dos filhos de Israel; e o estranho que se aproximar, morrerá.
39 All that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses numbered with Aaron, at the order of the Lord, according to their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand.
39 Todos os que foram contados dos levitas, que Moisés e Arão contaram, por ordem do SENHOR, segundo suas famílias, todos os homens com idade igual ou superior a um mês, eram vinte e dois mil.
40 And the Lord said unto Moses, Number all the first–born males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
40 E o SENHOR disse a Moisés: Conta todos os primogênitos dos filhos de Israel, com idade igual ou superior a um mês, e toma o número de seus nomes.
41 And thou shalt take the Levites for me, I am the Lord, instead of all the first–born among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the first–born among the cattle of the children of Israel.
41 E tomarás os levitas para mim (eu sou o SENHOR), no lugar de todos os primogênitos dos filhos de Israel, e o gado dos levitas, no lugar dos primogênitos entre o gado dos filhos de Israel.
42 And Moses numbered, as the Lord had commanded him, all the first–born among the children of Israel.
42 E Moisés contou, como o SENHOR lhe ordenara, todos os primogênitos entre os filhos de Israel.
43 And all the first–born males, by the numbering of the names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty and two thousand two hundred and seventy and three.
43 E todos os primogênitos, pelos números de nomes, com idade igual ou superior a um mês, dos que foram contados, somaram vinte e dois mil e duzentos e setenta e três.
44 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
44 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:
45 Take the Levites instead of all the first–born among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the Lord.
45 Toma os levitas, no lugar de todos os primogênitos entre os filhos de Israel, e o gado dos levitas, no lugar do gado de Israel, e os levitas serão meus: eu sou o SENHOR.
46 And for those that are to be redeemed, the two hundred and seventy and three of the first–born of the children of Israel, who are more than the Levites,
46 E para aqueles que serão resgatados dos duzentos e setenta e três, dos primogênitos dos filhos de Israel, que são em maior número que os levitas,
47 Thou shalt take five shekels apiece for the poll; after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take, twenty gerahs to the shekel;
47 tomarás por cabeça cinco shekels, segundo o shekel do santuário os tomarás; (o shekel é vinte geras).
48 And thou shalt give unto Aaron and to his sons the money, for those who are to be redeemed of those that are over the number of them.
48 E darás a Arão e aos seus filhos o dinheiro com o qual o número deles será resgatado.
49 And Moses took the redemption–money of those that were over in number above those who were redeemed by the Levites:
49 E Moisés tomou o dinheiro do resgate daqueles que eram em maior número que eles, que foram resgatados pelos levitas.
50 Of the first–born of the children of Israel did he take the money; a thousand three hundred and sixty and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
50 Dos primogênitos dos filhos de Israel, ele tomou o dinheiro; mil trezentos e sessenta e cinco shekels, segundo o shekel do santuário.
51 And Moses gave the money of those who were redeemed unto Aaron and unto his sons, by the order of the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
51 E Moisés deu o dinheiro dos que foram resgatados a Arão e a seus filhos, segundo a palavra do SENHOR, conforme o SENHOR ordenara a Moisés.
