5 But|strong="G1161" every|strong="G3956" woman|strong="G1135" who|strong="G3588" prays|strong="G4336" or|strong="G2228" prophesies|strong="G4395" should|strong="G2532" have|strong="G1510" her|strong="G0846" head|strong="G2776" covered. If|strong="G2532" her|strong="G0846" head|strong="G2776" is|strong="G1510" not|strong="G1510" covered, she|strong="G0846" brings|strong="G1510" shame|strong="G2617" to|strong="G2532" her|strong="G0846" head|strong="G2776". 7 But|strong="G1161" a|strong="G1510" man|strong="G0435" should|strong="G3784" not|strong="G3756" cover|strong="G2619" his|strong="G2532" head|strong="G2776", because|strong="G1063" he|strong="G2532" is|strong="G1510" made like God|strong="G2316" and|strong="G2532" is|strong="G1510" God’s|strong="G2316" glory|strong="G1391". But|strong="G1161" woman|strong="G1135" is|strong="G1510" man’s|strong="G0435" glory|strong="G1391".
8 Man|strong="G0435" did|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" come|strong="G1510" from|strong="G1537" woman|strong="G1135". Woman|strong="G1135" came|strong="G1510" from|strong="G1537" man|strong="G0435".
9 And|strong="G2532" man|strong="G0435" was|strong="G3588" not|strong="G3756" made for|strong="G1063" woman|strong="G1135". Woman|strong="G1135" was|strong="G3588" made for|strong="G1063" man|strong="G0435".

12 This|strong="G3779" is|strong="G2316" true|strong="G3779" because|strong="G1223" woman|strong="G1135" came|strong="G1223" from|strong="G1537" man|strong="G0435", but|strong="G1161" also|strong="G2532" man|strong="G0435" is|strong="G2316" born from|strong="G1537" woman|strong="G1135". 13 Decide this|strong="G3588" for|strong="G1722" yourselves|strong="G0846": Is|strong="G1510" it|strong="G0846" right for|strong="G1722" a|strong="G1510" woman|strong="G1135" to|strong="G1722" pray|strong="G4336" to|strong="G1722" God|strong="G2316" without something|strong="G1510" on|strong="G1722" her|strong="G0846" head?

15 But|strong="G1161" wearing long|strong="G2863" hair|strong="G2863" is|strong="G1510" a|strong="G1510" woman’s|strong="G1135" honor|strong="G1391". Long|strong="G2863" hair|strong="G2863" is|strong="G1510" given|strong="G1325" to|strong="G1325" the|strong="G3588" woman|strong="G1135" to|strong="G1325" cover her|strong="G0846" head.
16 Some|strong="G5100" people|strong="G1510" may|strong="G5100" still want to|strong="G5100" argue about|strong="G3588" this|strong="G3588". But|strong="G1161" we|strong="G2249" and|strong="G1161" the|strong="G3588" churches|strong="G1577" of|strong="G2316" God|strong="G2316" don’t|strong="G3756" accept what|strong="G3588" those|strong="G3588" people|strong="G1510" are|strong="G1510" doing.
17 In|strong="G1519" the|strong="G3588" things|strong="G3778" I|strong="G3778" tell you|strong="G3754" now|strong="G1161" I|strong="G3778" don’t|strong="G3756" praise|strong="G1867" you|strong="G3754". Your|strong="G1161" meetings hurt you|strong="G3754" more|strong="G3756" than|strong="G3756" they|strong="G3754" help you|strong="G3754".
18 First|strong="G4413", I|strong="G2532" hear|strong="G0191" that|strong="G0191" when|strong="G2532" you|strong="G5210" meet|strong="G4905" together|strong="G4905" as|strong="G1722" a|strong="G0191" church|strong="G1577" you|strong="G5210" are|strong="G2532" divided. And|strong="G2532" this|strong="G2532" is|strong="G5100" not|strong="G2532" hard to|strong="G2532" believe|strong="G4100"
19 because|strong="G1063" of|strong="G1722" your|strong="G2532" idea that|strong="G2443" you|strong="G5210" must|strong="G1163" have|strong="G1510" separate groups to|strong="G2443" show|strong="G1096" who|strong="G3588" the|strong="G3588" real believers are|strong="G1510"!
20 When|strong="G3767" you|strong="G5210" all|strong="G3588" come|strong="G1510" together|strong="G4905", it|strong="G0846" is|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" really the|strong="G3588" Lord’s|strong="G2960" Supper|strong="G1173" you|strong="G5210" are|strong="G1510" eating|strong="G2068".
21 I|strong="G3739" say this|strong="G3588" because|strong="G1063" when|strong="G2532" you|strong="G3739" eat|strong="G2068", each|strong="G1538" one|strong="G1538" eats|strong="G2068" without|strong="G2532" waiting for|strong="G1063" the|strong="G3588" others|strong="G3588". Some|strong="G3588" people|strong="G2068" don’t get|strong="G3184" enough to|strong="G2532" eat|strong="G2068" or|strong="G2532" drink, while|strong="G1722" others|strong="G3588" have|strong="G2532" too|strong="G2532" much.
22 You|strong="G5210" can|strong="G3004" eat|strong="G2068" and|strong="G2532" drink|strong="G4095" in|strong="G1722" your|strong="G2192" own homes. It|strong="G3778" seems that|strong="G3004" you|strong="G5210" think|strong="G2706" God’s|strong="G2316" church|strong="G1577" is|strong="G2316" not|strong="G3756" important. You|strong="G5210" embarrass those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" are|strong="G3778" poor. What|strong="G5101" can|strong="G3004" I|strong="G2532" say|strong="G3004"? Should|strong="G2316" I|strong="G2532" praise|strong="G1867" you|strong="G5210"? No|strong="G3756", I|strong="G2532" cannot|strong="G3756" praise|strong="G1867" you|strong="G5210" for|strong="G1063" this|strong="G3778".
23 The|strong="G3588" teaching I|strong="G1473" gave|strong="G3860" you|strong="G5210" is|strong="G3739" the|strong="G3588" same|strong="G3739" that|strong="G3754" I|strong="G1473" received|strong="G2983" from|strong="G0575" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962": On|strong="G1722" the|strong="G3588" night|strong="G3571" when|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" was|strong="G2424" handed|strong="G3860" over|strong="G3860" to|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" killed, he|strong="G2532" took|strong="G2983" bread|strong="G0740"

27 So|strong="G2532" if|strong="G0302" you|strong="G3739" eat|strong="G2068" the|strong="G3588" bread|strong="G0740" or|strong="G2228" drink|strong="G4095" the|strong="G3588" cup|strong="G4221" of|strong="G2962" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962" in|strong="G2532" a|strong="G1510" way|strong="G3739" that|strong="G3739" does|strong="G2068" not|strong="G1510" fit its meaning, you|strong="G3739" are|strong="G1510" sinning against the|strong="G3588" body|strong="G4983" and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3588" blood|strong="G0129" of|strong="G2962" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962".
28 Before|strong="G1537" you|strong="G3779" eat|strong="G2068" the|strong="G3588" bread|strong="G0740" and|strong="G2532" drink|strong="G4095" the|strong="G3588" cup|strong="G4221", you|strong="G3779" should|strong="G2532" examine|strong="G1381" your|strong="G2532" own|strong="G1438" attitude.
29 If|strong="G2532" you|strong="G2532" eat|strong="G2068" and|strong="G2532" drink|strong="G4095" without|strong="G3361" paying attention to|strong="G2532" those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" are|strong="G3588" the|strong="G3588" Lord’s body|strong="G4983", your|strong="G2532" eating|strong="G2068" and|strong="G2532" drinking|strong="G4095" will|strong="G2532" cause you|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" judged|strong="G1252" guilty.
30 That|strong="G3778" is|strong="G3778" why|strong="G1223" many|strong="G4183" in|strong="G1722" your|strong="G2532" group are|strong="G3778" sick|strong="G0772" and|strong="G2532" weak|strong="G0772", and|strong="G2532" many|strong="G4183" have|strong="G2532" died|strong="G2837".
31 But|strong="G1161" if|strong="G1487" we|strong="G1487" judged|strong="G2919" ourselves|strong="G1438" in|strong="G1438" the|strong="G1161" right way, then|strong="G1161" God would|strong="G0302" not|strong="G3756" judge|strong="G2919" us.
32 But|strong="G1161" when|strong="G1161" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962" judges|strong="G2919" us, he|strong="G1161" punishes us to|strong="G2443" show us the|strong="G3588" right way. He|strong="G1161" does|strong="G2919" this|strong="G3588" so|strong="G2443" that|strong="G2443" we|strong="G1161" will|strong="G2962" not|strong="G3361" be|strong="G2962" condemned|strong="G2632" with|strong="G4862" the|strong="G3588" world|strong="G2889".
33 So|strong="G5620", my brothers|strong="G0080" and|strong="G2068" sisters, when|strong="G4905" you|strong="G5620" come|strong="G4905" together|strong="G4905" to|strong="G1519" eat|strong="G2068", wait|strong="G1551" for|strong="G1519" each|strong="G0240" other|strong="G0240".
34 If|strong="G1487" some|strong="G5100" are|strong="G3588" too|strong="G0302" hungry|strong="G3983" to|strong="G1519" wait, they|strong="G1161" should|strong="G5100" eat|strong="G2068" at|strong="G1722" home|strong="G3624". Do|strong="G3361" this|strong="G3588" so|strong="G2443" that|strong="G2443" your|strong="G1487" meeting together|strong="G4905" will|strong="G5100" not|strong="G3361" bring|strong="G1519" God’s judgment|strong="G2917" on|strong="G1722" you|strong="G1487".
