2 This is the ordinance|strong="H2708" of the law|strong="H8451" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath commanded|strong="H6680", saying|strong="H0559", Speak|strong="H1696" unto the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", that they bring|strong="H3947" thee a red|strong="H0122" heifer|strong="H6510" without spot|strong="H8549", wherein is no blemish|strong="H3971", and upon which never|strong="H3808" came|strong="H5927" yoke|strong="H5923":
3 And ye shall give|strong="H5414" her unto Eleazar|strong="H0499" the priest|strong="H3548", that he may bring her forth|strong="H3318" without|strong="H2351" the camp|strong="H4264", and one shall slay|strong="H7819" her before|strong="H6440" his face:
4 And Eleazar|strong="H0499" the priest|strong="H3548" shall take|strong="H3947" of her blood|strong="H1818" with his finger|strong="H0676", and sprinkle|strong="H5137" of her blood|strong="H1818" directly|strong="H5227" before|strong="H6440" the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150" seven|strong="H7651" times|strong="H6471":
5 And one shall burn|strong="H8313" the heifer|strong="H6510" in his sight|strong="H5869"; her skin|strong="H5785", and her flesh|strong="H1320", and her blood|strong="H1818", with her dung|strong="H6569", shall he burn|strong="H8313":
6 And the priest|strong="H3548" shall take|strong="H3947" cedar|strong="H0730" wood|strong="H6086", and hyssop|strong="H0231", and scarlet|strong="H8438", and cast|strong="H7993" it into the midst|strong="H8432" of the burning|strong="H8316" of the heifer|strong="H6510".
7 Then the priest|strong="H3548" shall wash|strong="H3526" his clothes|strong="H0899", and he shall bathe|strong="H7364" his flesh|strong="H1320" in water|strong="H4325", and afterward|strong="H0310" he shall come|strong="H0935" into the camp|strong="H4264", and the priest|strong="H3548" shall be unclean|strong="H2930" until the even|strong="H6153".
8 And he that burneth|strong="H8313" her shall wash|strong="H3526" his clothes|strong="H0899" in water|strong="H4325", and bathe|strong="H7364" his flesh|strong="H1320" in water|strong="H4325", and shall be unclean|strong="H2930" until the even|strong="H6153".
9 And a man|strong="H0376" that is clean|strong="H2889" shall gather|strong="H0622" up the ashes|strong="H0665" of the heifer|strong="H6510", and lay them up|strong="H3240" without|strong="H2351" the camp|strong="H4264" in a clean|strong="H2889" place|strong="H4725", and it shall be kept|strong="H4931" for the congregation|strong="H5712" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" for a water|strong="H4325" of separation|strong="H5079": it is a purification for sin|strong="H2403".
10 And he that gathereth|strong="H0622" the ashes|strong="H0665" of the heifer|strong="H6510" shall wash|strong="H3526" his clothes|strong="H0899", and be unclean|strong="H2930" until the even|strong="H6153": and it shall be unto the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", and unto the stranger|strong="H1616" that sojourneth|strong="H1481" among|strong="H8432" them, for a statute|strong="H2708" for ever|strong="H5769".
11 He that toucheth|strong="H5060" the dead|strong="H4191" body|strong="H5315" of any man|strong="H0120" shall be unclean|strong="H2930" seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117".
12 He shall purify|strong="H2398" himself with it on the third|strong="H7992" day|strong="H3117", and on the seventh|strong="H7637" day|strong="H3117" he shall be clean|strong="H2891": but if he purify|strong="H2398" not himself the third|strong="H7992" day|strong="H3117", then the seventh|strong="H7637" day|strong="H3117" he shall not be clean|strong="H2891".
13 Whosoever toucheth|strong="H5060" the dead|strong="H4191" body|strong="H5315" of any man|strong="H0120" that is dead|strong="H4191", and purifieth|strong="H2398" not himself, defileth|strong="H2930" the tabernacle|strong="H4908" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; and that soul|strong="H5315" shall be cut off|strong="H3772" from Israel|strong="H3478": because the water|strong="H4325" of separation|strong="H5079" was not sprinkled|strong="H2236" upon him, he shall be unclean|strong="H2931"; his uncleanness|strong="H2932" is yet upon him.
14 This is the law|strong="H8451", when a man|strong="H0120" dieth|strong="H4191" in a tent|strong="H0168": all that come|strong="H0935" into the tent|strong="H0168", and all that is in the tent|strong="H0168", shall be unclean|strong="H2930" seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117".
15 And every open|strong="H6605" vessel|strong="H3627", which hath no covering|strong="H6781" bound|strong="H6616" upon it, is unclean|strong="H2931".
16 And whosoever toucheth|strong="H5060" one that is slain|strong="H2491" with a sword|strong="H2719" in the open|strong="H6440" fields|strong="H7704", or a dead body|strong="H4191", or a bone|strong="H6106" of a man|strong="H0120", or a grave|strong="H6913", shall be unclean|strong="H2930" seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117".
17 And for an unclean|strong="H2931" person they shall take|strong="H3947" of the ashes|strong="H6083" of the burnt heifer|strong="H8316" of purification for sin|strong="H2403", and running|strong="H2416" water|strong="H4325" shall be put|strong="H5414" thereto in a vessel|strong="H3627":
18 And a clean|strong="H2889" person|strong="H0376" shall take|strong="H3947" hyssop|strong="H0231", and dip|strong="H2881" it in the water|strong="H4325", and sprinkle|strong="H5137" it upon the tent|strong="H0168", and upon all the vessels|strong="H3627", and upon the persons|strong="H5315" that were there, and upon him that touched|strong="H5060" a bone|strong="H6106", or one slain|strong="H2491", or one dead|strong="H4191", or a grave|strong="H6913":
19 And the clean|strong="H2889" person shall sprinkle|strong="H5137" upon the unclean|strong="H2931" on the third|strong="H7992" day|strong="H3117", and on the seventh|strong="H7637" day|strong="H3117": and on the seventh|strong="H7637" day|strong="H3117" he shall purify|strong="H2398" himself, and wash|strong="H3526" his clothes|strong="H0899", and bathe|strong="H7364" himself in water|strong="H4325", and shall be clean|strong="H2891" at even|strong="H6153".
20 But the man|strong="H0376" that shall be unclean|strong="H2930", and shall not purify|strong="H2398" himself, that soul|strong="H5315" shall be cut off|strong="H3772" from among|strong="H8432" the congregation|strong="H6951", because he hath defiled|strong="H2930" the sanctuary|strong="H4720" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: the water|strong="H4325" of separation|strong="H5079" hath not been sprinkled|strong="H2236" upon him; he is unclean|strong="H2931".
21 And it shall be a perpetual|strong="H5769" statute|strong="H2708" unto them, that he that sprinkleth|strong="H5137" the water|strong="H4325" of separation|strong="H5079" shall wash|strong="H3526" his clothes|strong="H0899"; and he that toucheth|strong="H5060" the water|strong="H4325" of separation|strong="H5079" shall be unclean|strong="H2930" until even|strong="H6153".
22 And whatsoever the unclean|strong="H2931" person toucheth|strong="H5060" shall be unclean|strong="H2930"; and the soul|strong="H5315" that toucheth|strong="H5060" it shall be unclean|strong="H2930" until even|strong="H6153".
