1 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Aaron|strong="H0175", Thou and thy sons|strong="H1121" and thy father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004" with thee shall bear|strong="H5375" the iniquity|strong="H5771" of the sanctuary|strong="H4720": and thou and thy sons|strong="H1121" with thee shall bear|strong="H5375" the iniquity|strong="H5771" of your priesthood|strong="H3550".
2 And thy brethren|strong="H0251" also of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Levi|strong="H3878", the tribe|strong="H7626" of thy father|strong="H0001", bring|strong="H7126" thou with thee, that they may be joined|strong="H3867" unto thee, and minister|strong="H8334" unto thee: but thou and thy sons|strong="H1121" with thee shall minister before|strong="H6440" the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of witness|strong="H5715".
3 And they shall keep|strong="H8104" thy charge|strong="H4931", and the charge|strong="H4931" of all the tabernacle|strong="H0168": only they shall not come nigh|strong="H7126" the vessels|strong="H3627" of the sanctuary|strong="H6944" and the altar|strong="H4196", that neither they, nor ye also, die|strong="H4191".
4 And they shall be joined|strong="H3867" unto thee, and keep|strong="H8104" the charge|strong="H4931" of the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150", for all the service|strong="H5656" of the tabernacle|strong="H0168": and a stranger|strong="H2114" shall not come nigh|strong="H7126" unto you.
5 And ye shall keep|strong="H8104" the charge|strong="H4931" of the sanctuary|strong="H6944", and the charge|strong="H4931" of the altar|strong="H4196": that there be no wrath|strong="H7110" any more upon the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478".
6 And I, behold, I have taken|strong="H3947" your brethren|strong="H0251" the Levites|strong="H3881" from among|strong="H8432" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478": to you they are given|strong="H5414" as a gift|strong="H4979" for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, to do|strong="H5647" the service|strong="H5656" of the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150".
7 Therefore thou and thy sons|strong="H1121" with thee shall keep|strong="H8104" your priest’s office|strong="H3550" for every thing|strong="H1697" of the altar|strong="H4196", and within|strong="H1004" the vail|strong="H6532"; and ye shall serve|strong="H5647": I have given|strong="H5414" your priest’s office|strong="H3550" unto you as a service|strong="H5656" of gift|strong="H4979": and the stranger|strong="H2114" that cometh nigh|strong="H7131" shall be put to death|strong="H4191".
8 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" unto Aaron|strong="H0175", Behold, I also have given|strong="H5414" thee the charge|strong="H4931" of mine heave offerings|strong="H8641" of all the hallowed things|strong="H6944" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478"; unto thee have I given|strong="H5414" them by reason of the anointing|strong="H4888", and to thy sons|strong="H1121", by an ordinance|strong="H2706" for ever|strong="H5769".
9 This shall be thine of the most|strong="H6944" holy things|strong="H6944", reserved from the fire|strong="H0784": every oblation|strong="H7133" of theirs, every meat offering|strong="H4503" of theirs, and every sin offering|strong="H2403" of theirs, and every trespass offering|strong="H0817" of theirs, which they shall render|strong="H7725" unto me, shall be most|strong="H6944" holy|strong="H6944" for thee and for thy sons|strong="H1121".
10 In the most|strong="H6944" holy|strong="H6944" place shalt thou eat|strong="H0398" it; every male|strong="H2145" shall eat|strong="H0398" it: it shall be holy|strong="H6944" unto thee.
11 And this is thine; the heave offering|strong="H8641" of their gift|strong="H4976", with all the wave offerings|strong="H8573" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478": I have given|strong="H5414" them unto thee, and to thy sons|strong="H1121" and to thy daughters|strong="H1323" with thee, by a statute|strong="H2706" for ever|strong="H5769": every one that is clean|strong="H2889" in thy house|strong="H1004" shall eat|strong="H0398" of it.
12 All the best|strong="H2459" of the oil|strong="H3323", and all the best|strong="H2459" of the wine|strong="H8492", and of the wheat|strong="H1715", the firstfruits|strong="H7225" of them which they shall offer|strong="H5414" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, them have I given|strong="H5414" thee.
13 And whatsoever is first ripe|strong="H1061" in the land|strong="H0776", which they shall bring|strong="H0935" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, shall be thine; every one that is clean|strong="H2889" in thine house|strong="H1004" shall eat|strong="H0398" of it.
14 Every thing devoted|strong="H2764" in Israel|strong="H3478" shall be thine.
15 Every thing that openeth|strong="H6363" the matrix|strong="H7358" in all flesh|strong="H1320", which they bring|strong="H7126" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, whether it be of men|strong="H0120" or beasts|strong="H0929", shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn|strong="H1060" of man|strong="H0120" shalt thou surely|strong="H6299" redeem|strong="H6299", and the firstling|strong="H1060" of unclean|strong="H2931" beasts|strong="H0929" shalt thou redeem|strong="H6299".
16 And those that are to be redeemed|strong="H6299" from a month|strong="H2320" old|strong="H1121" shalt thou redeem|strong="H6299", according to thine estimation|strong="H6187", for the money|strong="H3701" of five|strong="H2568" shekels|strong="H8255", after the shekel|strong="H8255" of the sanctuary|strong="H6944", which is twenty|strong="H6242" gerahs|strong="H1626".
17 But the firstling|strong="H1060" of a cow|strong="H7794", or the firstling|strong="H1060" of a sheep|strong="H3775", or the firstling|strong="H1060" of a goat|strong="H5795", thou shalt not redeem|strong="H6299"; they are holy|strong="H6944": thou shalt sprinkle|strong="H2236" their blood|strong="H1818" upon the altar|strong="H4196", and shalt burn|strong="H6999" their fat|strong="H2459" for an offering made by fire|strong="H0801", for a sweet|strong="H5207" savour|strong="H7381" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
18 And the flesh|strong="H1320" of them shall be thine, as the wave|strong="H8573" breast|strong="H2373" and as the right|strong="H3225" shoulder|strong="H7785" are thine.
19 All the heave offerings|strong="H8641" of the holy things|strong="H6944", which the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" offer|strong="H7311" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, have I given|strong="H5414" thee, and thy sons|strong="H1121" and thy daughters|strong="H1323" with thee, by a statute|strong="H2706" for ever|strong="H5769": it is a covenant|strong="H1285" of salt|strong="H4417" for ever|strong="H5769" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* unto thee and to thy seed|strong="H2233" with thee.
20 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H0559" unto Aaron|strong="H0175", Thou shalt have no inheritance|strong="H5157" in their land|strong="H0776", neither shalt thou have any part|strong="H2506" among|strong="H8432" them: I am thy part|strong="H2506" and thine inheritance|strong="H5159" among|strong="H8432" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478".
21 And, behold, I have given|strong="H5414" the children|strong="H1121" of Levi|strong="H3878" all the tenth|strong="H4643" in Israel|strong="H3478" for an inheritance|strong="H5159", for|strong="H2500" their service|strong="H5656" which they serve|strong="H5647", even the service|strong="H5656" of the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150".
22 Neither must the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" henceforth|strong="H5750" come nigh|strong="H7126" the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150", lest they bear|strong="H5375" sin|strong="H2399", and die|strong="H4191".
23 But the Levites|strong="H3881" shall do|strong="H5647" the service|strong="H5656" of the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150", and they shall bear|strong="H5375" their iniquity|strong="H5771": it shall be a statute|strong="H2708" for ever|strong="H5769" throughout your generations|strong="H1755", that among|strong="H8432" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" they have|strong="H5157" no inheritance|strong="H5159".
24 But the tithes|strong="H4643" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", which they offer|strong="H7311" as an heave offering|strong="H8641" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, I have given|strong="H5414" to the Levites|strong="H3881" to inherit|strong="H5159": therefore I have said|strong="H0559" unto them, Among|strong="H8432" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" they shall have|strong="H5157" no inheritance|strong="H5159".
25 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872", saying|strong="H0559",
26 Thus speak|strong="H1696" unto the Levites|strong="H3881", and say|strong="H0559" unto them, When ye take|strong="H3947" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" the tithes|strong="H4643" which I have given|strong="H5414" you from them for your inheritance|strong="H5159", then ye shall offer|strong="H7311" up an heave offering|strong="H8641" of it for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, even a tenth|strong="H4643" part of the tithe|strong="H4643".
27 And this your heave offering|strong="H8641" shall be reckoned|strong="H2803" unto you, as though it were the corn|strong="H1715" of the threshingfloor|strong="H1637", and as the fulness|strong="H4395" of the winepress|strong="H3342".
28 Thus ye also shall offer|strong="H7311" an heave offering|strong="H8641" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of all your tithes|strong="H4643", which ye receive|strong="H3947" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478"; and ye shall give|strong="H5414" thereof the \+w LORD’s|strong="H3068"\+w* heave offering|strong="H8641" to Aaron|strong="H0175" the priest|strong="H3548".
29 Out of all your gifts|strong="H4979" ye shall offer|strong="H7311" every heave offering|strong="H8641" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, of all the best|strong="H2459" thereof, even the hallowed part|strong="H4720" thereof out of it.
30 Therefore thou shalt say|strong="H0559" unto them, When ye have heaved|strong="H7311" the best|strong="H2459" thereof from it, then it shall be counted|strong="H2803" unto the Levites|strong="H3881" as the increase|strong="H8393" of the threshingfloor|strong="H1637", and as the increase|strong="H8393" of the winepress|strong="H3342".
31 And ye shall eat|strong="H0398" it in every place|strong="H4725", ye and your households|strong="H1004": for it is your reward|strong="H7939" for|strong="H2500" your service|strong="H5656" in the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150".
32 And ye shall bear|strong="H5375" no sin|strong="H2399" by reason of it, when ye have heaved|strong="H7311" from it the best|strong="H2459" of it: neither shall ye pollute|strong="H2490" the holy things|strong="H6944" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", lest ye die|strong="H4191".
