1 Now Hiram|strong="H2438" king|strong="H4428" of Tyre|strong="H6865" sent|strong="H7971" messengers|strong="H4397" to David|strong="H1732", and timber|strong="H6086" of cedars|strong="H0730", with masons|strong="H7023" and carpenters|strong="H2796", to build|strong="H1129" him an house|strong="H1004".
1 Então, Hirão, rei de Tiro, mandou mensageiros a Davi, e madeira de cedro, e pedreiros, e carpinteiros, para lhe edificar uma casa.
2 And David|strong="H1732" perceived|strong="H3045" that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had confirmed|strong="H3559" him king|strong="H4428" over Israel|strong="H3478", for his kingdom|strong="H4438" was lifted up|strong="H5375" on high|strong="H4605", because of his people|strong="H5971" Israel|strong="H3478".
2 E entendeu Davi que o Senhor o tinha confirmado rei sobre Israel; porque o seu reino se tinha muito exaltado por amor do seu povo Israel.
3 And David|strong="H1732" took|strong="H3947" more wives|strong="H0802" at Jerusalem|strong="H3389": and David|strong="H1732" begat|strong="H3205" more sons|strong="H1121" and daughters|strong="H1323".
3 E Davi tomou ainda mais mulheres em Jerusalém; e gerou Davi ainda mais filhos e filhas.
4 Now these are the names|strong="H8034" of his children|strong="H3205" which he had in Jerusalem|strong="H3389"; Shammua|strong="H8051", and Shobab|strong="H7727", Nathan|strong="H5416", and Solomon|strong="H8010",
4 E estes são os nomes dos filhos que tinha em Jerusalém: Samua, e Sobabe, Natã, e Salomão,
5 And Ibhar|strong="H2984", and Elishua|strong="H0474", and Elpalet|strong="H0467",
5 e Ibar, e Elisua, e Elpelete,
6 And Nogah|strong="H5052", and Nepheg|strong="H5298", and Japhia|strong="H3309",
6 e Nogá, e Nefegue, e Jafia,
7 And Elishama|strong="H0476", and Beeliada|strong="H1182", and Eliphalet|strong="H0467".
7 e Elisama, e Beeliada, e Elifelete.
8 And when the Philistines|strong="H6430" heard|strong="H8085" that David|strong="H1732" was anointed|strong="H4886" king|strong="H4428" over all Israel|strong="H3478", all the Philistines|strong="H6430" went up|strong="H5927" to seek|strong="H1245" David|strong="H1732". And David|strong="H1732" heard|strong="H8085" of it, and went out|strong="H3318" against|strong="H6440" them.
8 Ouvindo, pois, os filisteus que Davi havia sido ungido rei sobre todo o Israel, todos os filisteus subiram em busca de Davi; o que ouvindo Davi, logo saiu contra eles.
9 And the Philistines|strong="H6430" came|strong="H0935" and spread|strong="H6584" themselves in the valley|strong="H6010" of Rephaim|strong="H7497".
9 E, vindo os filisteus, se estenderam pelo vale dos Refains.
10 And David|strong="H1732" enquired|strong="H7592" of God|strong="H0430", saying|strong="H0559", Shall I go up|strong="H5927" against the Philistines|strong="H6430"? and wilt thou deliver|strong="H5414" them into mine hand|strong="H3027"? And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto him, Go up|strong="H5927"; for I will deliver|strong="H5414" them into thine hand|strong="H3027".
10 Então, consultou Davi a Deus, dizendo: Subirei contra os filisteus, e nas minhas mãos os entregarás? E o Senhor lhe disse: Sobe, porque os entregarei nas tuas mãos.
11 So they came up|strong="H5927" to Baal-perazim|strong="H1188"; and David|strong="H1732" smote|strong="H5221" them there. Then David|strong="H1732" said|strong="H0559", God|strong="H0430" hath broken in|strong="H6555" upon mine enemies|strong="H0341" by mine hand|strong="H3027" like the breaking forth|strong="H6556" of waters|strong="H4325": therefore they called|strong="H7121" the name|strong="H8034" of that place|strong="H4725" Baal-perazim|strong="H1188".
11 E, subindo a Baal-Perazim, Davi ali os feriu; e disse Davi: Por minha mão, Deus derrotou a meus inimigos, como a rotura das águas. Pelo que chamaram o nome daquele lugar Baal-Perazim.
12 And when they had left|strong="H5800" their gods|strong="H0430" there, David|strong="H1732" gave a commandment|strong="H0559", and they were burned|strong="H8313" with fire|strong="H0784".
12 E deixaram ali seus deuses; e ordenou Davi que se queimassem a fogo.
13 And the Philistines|strong="H6430" yet again|strong="H3254" spread themselves abroad|strong="H6584" in the valley|strong="H6010".
13 Porém os filisteus tornaram e se estenderam pelo vale.
14 Therefore David|strong="H1732" enquired|strong="H7592" again of God|strong="H0430"; and God|strong="H0430" said|strong="H0559" unto him, Go not up|strong="H5927" after|strong="H0310" them; turn away|strong="H5437" from them, and come|strong="H0935" upon them over against|strong="H4136" the mulberry trees|strong="H1057".
14 E tornou Davi a consultar a Deus; e disse-lhe Deus: Não subirás atrás deles; mas anda em roda por detrás deles e vem a eles por defronte das amoreiras;
15 And it shall be, when thou shalt hear|strong="H8085" a sound|strong="H6963" of going|strong="H6807" in the tops|strong="H7218" of the mulberry trees|strong="H1057", that then thou shalt go out|strong="H3318" to battle|strong="H4421": for God|strong="H0430" is gone forth|strong="H3318" before|strong="H6440" thee to smite|strong="H5221" the host|strong="H4264" of the Philistines|strong="H6430".
15 e há de ser que, ouvindo tu um ruído de andadura pelas copas das amoreiras, então, sai à peleja; porque Deus haverá saído diante de ti, a ferir o exército dos filisteus.
16 David|strong="H1732" therefore did|strong="H6213" as God|strong="H0430" commanded|strong="H6680" him: and they smote|strong="H5221" the host|strong="H4264" of the Philistines|strong="H6430" from Gibeon|strong="H1391" even to Gazer|strong="H1507".
16 E fez Davi como Deus lhe ordenara; e feriram o exército dos filisteus desde Gibeão até Gezer.
17 And the fame|strong="H8034" of David|strong="H1732" went out|strong="H3318" into all lands|strong="H0776"; and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* brought|strong="H5414" the fear|strong="H6343" of him upon all nations|strong="H1471".
17 Assim se espalhou o nome de Davi por todas aquelas terras; e o Senhor pôs o seu temor sobre todas aquelas gentes.
