1 I tell the truth in Christ. I am not lying, my conscience testifying with me in the Holy Spirit

5 of whom are the fathers, and from whom is Christ as concerning the flesh, who is over all, God, blessed forever. Amen.
5 Xiáwo írɨŋɨ́ xámɨ imónɨgɨ́áwa, ayɨ́ ayɨ́yárɨnɨ. Ayɨ́yá xiáwɨ́yo dánɨ yeáyɨ́ neayimɨxemeanɨ́a nánɨ imónɨŋo ámá imónɨŋɨ́rɨnɨ. Amɨpí nɨyonɨ seáyɨ e wimónɨŋo, ayɨ́ orɨnɨ. O Gorɨxo, anɨŋɨ́ íníná nene yayɨ́ umepaxɨ́ imónɨŋorɨnɨ. “E éwanɨgɨnɨ.” nimónarɨnɨ.
6 But it is not as though the word of God has come to nothing. For they are not all Israel that are of Israel.
6 Gɨ́ Judayɨ́ nápɨ Jisasomɨ rɨ́wɨ́ umogɨ́á eŋagɨ aí “Xwɨyɨ́á Gorɨxo ayo ‘E nɨseaiimɨ́árɨnɨ.’ urɨŋɨ́pɨ pɨsɨ́í weárɨnɨ.” rɨpaxɨ́manɨ. Ayɨ́ rɨpɨ nánɨrɨnɨ. 7 Neither, because they are Abraham’s offspring, are they all children. But, "your offspring will be accounted as from Isaac."

8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as heirs.
8 Ayɨ́ rɨpɨ nánɨ seararɨŋɨnɨ. Gorɨxo niaíwɨ́ Ebɨrɨ́amo emeaŋɨ́yɨ́ nɨ́nɨ nánɨ “Ayɨ́ niaíwɨ́ nepaxɨŋɨ́ imónɨgɨ́áyɨ́rɨ́anɨ?” mɨyaiwí sa niaíwɨ́ xɨ́o Ebɨrɨ́amomɨ sɨ́mɨmaŋɨ́yo dánɨ xwɨyɨ́á urɨŋɨ́pimɨ dánɨ emeaŋɨ́yɨ́ nánɨ “Ayɨ́ nepaxɨŋɨ́ imónɨgɨ́áyɨ́rɨ́anɨ?” nɨyaiwirɨ rɨŋɨ́rɨnɨ.
9 For this is a word of promise: "At the appointed time I will come, and Sarah will have a son."
9 Ebɨrɨ́amomɨ sɨ́mɨmaŋɨ́yo dánɨ re urɨŋɨ́ eŋagɨ nánɨ, “Xwiogwɨ́ wɨ́omɨ rínánɨŋɨ́ imónáná Seraí niaíwɨ́ wo rɨxa xɨrɨŋáná ámɨ bɨmɨ́árɨnɨ.” urɨŋɨ́ eŋagɨ nánɨ rarɨŋɨnɨ.
10 Not only so, but Rebekah also conceived by one, by our father Isaac.

11 For being not yet born, neither having done anything good or bad, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him who calls,

12 it was said to her, "The elder will serve the younger."
12 Rebekaímɨ re urɨŋɨnigɨnɨ, “Xɨráo xogwáomɨ ínɨmɨ wurɨ́nɨnɨ́árɨnɨ.” urɨŋɨnigɨnɨ.
13 Even as it is written, "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."
13 Bɨkwɨ́yo dánɨ re rɨnɨŋɨ́pɨ, “Gorɨxonɨ xogwáo Jekopo nánɨ nɨnimónɨrɨ aí xɨráo Iso nánɨ mɨnimónarɨnɨ.” rɨnɨŋɨ́pɨ nionɨ “Gorɨxo xɨ́o wimónarɨŋɨ́pɨnɨ yárarɨŋɨ́rɨnɨ.” seararɨŋápɨ tɨ́nɨ xɨxenɨ rɨnɨnɨ.
14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? May it never be!
14 Ayɨnánɨ píoɨ ranɨréwɨnɨ? “Gorɨxo ámáyo ɨ́á nɨyamɨxárɨrɨ́ná eŋɨ́pɨ nɨpɨkwɨnɨ meŋɨ́rɨnɨ.” ranɨréwɨnɨ? Oweoɨ, wí e rɨpaxɨ́ mimónɨnɨ.
15 For he said to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."
15 Ayɨ́ rɨpɨ nánɨrɨnɨ. Moseso Gorɨxomɨ rɨxɨŋɨ́ uráná Bɨkwɨ́yo nɨrɨnɨrɨ eánɨŋɨ́pa Gorɨxo re urɨŋɨnigɨnɨ, “Ámá nionɨ wá owianɨmɨnɨrɨ́ná ananɨ wá wianɨmɨ́ɨnɨ. Ámá nionɨ ayá urɨmɨxɨmɨnɨrɨ́ná ananɨ ayá urɨmɨxɨmɨ́ɨnɨ.”
16 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who has mercy.
16 Gorɨxo e urɨŋɨ́ eŋagɨ nánɨ ayɨ́ ámá wigɨ́ dɨŋɨ́ tɨ́nɨ “E oimónaneyɨ.” yaiwiarɨŋagɨ́a nánɨ ɨ́á yamɨxárɨnɨŋɨ́yɨ́ imónarɨgɨ́ámanɨ. E i oimónaneyɨnɨro anɨŋɨ́ minɨ́ yarɨŋagɨ́a nánɨ ɨ́á yamɨxárɨnɨŋɨ́yɨ́ imónarɨgɨ́ámanɨ. Sa Gorɨxo wá wianarɨŋɨ́pimɨ dánɨ ɨ́á yamɨxárɨnɨŋɨ́yɨ́ imónarɨgɨ́árɨnɨ.
17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I caused you to be raised up, that I might show in you my power, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth."
17 Bɨkwɨ́yo dánɨ Moseso tɨ́ŋíná Gorɨxo Isipɨyɨ́ mɨxɨ́ ináyomɨ re urɨŋɨ́ eŋagɨ nánɨ nene ananɨ dɨŋɨ́ axɨ́pɨ mopaxɨ́rɨnɨ, “Nionɨ xopɨrárɨ́ síápimɨ dánɨ eŋɨ́ eánɨŋɨ́ nionɨyá sɨŋánɨ piaumɨmɨ́ inɨrɨ yoɨ́ nionɨyá xwɨ́á nɨrímɨnɨ yanɨ́ niwéa urɨ éwɨnɨgɨnɨrɨ nionɨyá dɨŋɨ́ tɨ́nɨ joxɨ mɨxɨ́ ináyɨ́ nimónɨrɨ meŋweaŋoxɨrɨnɨ.”
18 So then, he has mercy on whom he desires, and he hardens whom he desires.
18 Gorɨxo e urɨŋɨ́ eŋagɨ nánɨ nene re nɨyaiwirane nɨjɨ́á imónɨŋwɨnɨ, “Ámá ‘Wá owianɨmɨnɨ.’ wimónɨŋɨ́yo wá wianarɨŋɨ́rɨnɨ. Ámá ‘Dɨŋɨ́ wakɨsɨ́ oinɨ́poyɨnɨrɨ owimɨxɨmɨnɨ.’ wimónɨŋɨ́yo dɨŋɨ́ wakɨsɨ́ inɨpɨ́rɨ nánɨ wimɨxarɨŋɨ́rɨnɨ.” nɨyaiwirane nɨjɨ́á imónɨŋwɨnɨ.
19 You will say then to me, "Why does he still find fault? For who withstands his will?"
19 Seyɨ́né re nɨrɨpɨ́ráoɨ, “Joxɨ neararɨŋɨ́pɨ nepa eŋánáyɨ́, Gorɨxo pí nánɨ ámá wigɨ́ sɨpí egɨ́ápɨ nánɨ sɨnɨ ayairɨrɨ́ wiarɨŋɨ́rɨnɨ? O ‘Ámá xe apɨ apɨ oimónɨ́poyɨ.’ yaiwiárɨŋɨ́pɨ ámá go pɨ́rɨ́ urakipaxɨ́ imónɨnɨ? Oweoɨ, wí e mimónɨŋagɨ nánɨ rarɨŋwɨnɨ.” E nɨráná
20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed ask him who formed it, "Why did you make me like this?"
20 re searɨmɨ́ɨnɨ, “Seyɨ́né pí ámáyɨ́né nimónɨmáná Gorɨxomɨ xɨxewiámɨ́ wiarɨŋoɨ? ‘Xwárɨ́á sɨxɨ́ xwɨ́á tɨ́nɨ imɨxɨ́ɨ́wá imɨxarɨŋomɨ “Niɨwánɨ imónɨŋápɨ pí nánɨ e nimɨxɨ́ɨnɨ?” urɨnɨŋoɨ.’ rɨseaimónarɨnɨ?
21 Or hasn’t the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel for honour, and another for dishonour?
21 ‘Xwárɨ́á sɨxɨ́ imɨxarɨŋo xwɨ́á axɨ́ xéɨ́pimɨ dánɨ xwárɨ́á sɨxɨ́ wɨ́xaú nimɨxɨrɨ́ná wɨ́wá ayɨ́ aiwá rɨ́á nánɨ imɨxɨrɨ wɨ́wá ráɨ́ sɨxɨ́ yinɨnɨ́a nánɨ imɨxɨrɨ epaxɨ́ mimónɨnɨ.’ rɨseaimónarɨnɨ?” searɨmɨ́ɨnɨ.
22 What if God, willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,
22 Gorɨxo “Ámá ɨ́wɨ́ egɨ́ápɨ nánɨ wikɨ́ nónɨŋɨ́pɨ owíwapɨyimɨnɨ.” wimónɨrɨ “Pɨrɨ́ umamómɨ nánɨ gɨ́ eŋɨ́ eánɨŋɨ́pɨ sɨwá owíwapɨyimɨnɨ.” wimónɨrɨ nerɨ aí ámá xwárɨ́á sɨxɨ́ xwɨrɨ́á ikɨxenɨ́wɨnɨgɨnɨrɨ ipɨmoárɨnɨŋɨ́yɨ́nɨŋɨ́ imónɨgɨ́áyo apaxɨ́ mé pɨrɨ́ mumamó kikiɨ́á nerɨ sa sɨŋwɨ́ nɨwɨga warɨŋagɨ nánɨ ámá go xɨxewiámɨ́ nɨwirɨ “Joxɨ nɨpɨkwɨnɨ mɨyarɨŋɨnɨ.” urɨpaxɨ́ imónɨnɨ?
23 and that he might make known the riches of his glory on vessels of mercy, which he prepared beforehand for glory—
23 O ámá xwárɨ́á sɨxɨ́ wá wianɨ́ɨmɨgɨnɨrɨ ipɨmoárɨŋɨ́yɨ́nɨŋɨ́ imónɨgɨ́áyo —Ayɨ́ enɨ seáyɨ e xɨ́o imónɨŋɨ́pɨ bɨ imónɨ́ɨ́rɨxɨnɨrɨ eŋíná dánɨ ipɨmoárɨŋɨ́yɨ́rɨnɨ. 25 As he says also in Hosea,
25 Nionɨ “Gorɨxo émáyɨ́ enɨ nionɨyáyɨ́ oimónɨ́poyɨnɨrɨ wéyo ɨ́á umɨrɨŋɨ́rɨnɨ.” seararɨŋápɨ eŋíná xwɨyɨ́á wɨ́á rókiamoagɨ́ Xoseao Bɨkwɨ́yo nɨrɨrɨ eaŋɨ́ rɨpɨ tɨ́nɨ xɨxenɨ rɨnɨnɨ, “Ámá Gorɨxonɨyá mimónɨgɨ́áyɨ́ nánɨ ‘Gɨ́ ámárɨnɨ.’ rɨrɨ ámá dɨŋɨ́ sɨxɨ́ muyipa eŋáyɨ́ nánɨ ‘Gɨ́ dɨŋɨ́ sɨxɨ́ uyiŋáyɨ́rɨnɨ.’ rɨrɨ emɨ́árɨnɨ.
26 "It will be that in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’

27 Isaiah cries concerning Israel,

28 for He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness,

29 As Isaiah has said before,
29 “Gorɨxo xegɨ́ Judayo wá mɨwianɨpa nerɨ́náyɨ́, wí yeáyɨ́ uyimɨxemeaŋɨ́yɨ́ imónɨpaxɨ́ menɨnɨ.” oyaiwípoyɨnɨrɨ nánɨ Aisaiao ámɨ rɨpɨ enɨ rɨŋɨ́rɨnɨ, “Ámɨnáo —O aŋɨ́najɨ́ nɨ́nɨ sɨmɨŋɨ́ wínarɨgɨ́orɨnɨ. 30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who didn’t follow after righteousness, attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith;
30 Ayɨnánɨ nene píoɨ ranɨréwɨnɨ? Sa rɨpɨ ranɨ́wɨnɨ. Émáyɨ́ wí “Gorɨxo ámá nánɨ ‘Gɨ́ wé rónɨgɨ́áyɨ́rɨnɨ.’ nɨrárɨrɨ́ná ayɨ́ apimɨ dánɨ rárarɨŋɨ́rɨ́anɨ?” nɨyaiwiro “Wé rónɨŋwáyɨ́” oimónaneyɨnɨro anɨŋɨ́ minɨ́ mepa nero aí apɨ tɨ́nɨ xɨxenɨ imónɨgɨ́awixɨnɨ. 31 but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, didn’t arrive at the law of righteousness.
31 E imónɨŋagɨ́a aí Isɨrerɨyɨ́ ŋwɨ́ ikaxɨ́ rɨnɨŋɨ́pimɨ nɨxɨ́dɨrɨŋɨ́pimɨ dánɨ wé rónɨŋɨ́ oimónaneyɨnɨro anɨŋɨ́ minɨ́ neróná wé rónɨŋɨ́ ŋwɨ́ ikaxɨ́ eánɨŋɨ́yo rɨnɨŋɨ́pɨ tɨ́nɨ xɨxenɨ mimónɨgɨ́awixɨnɨ.
32 Why? Because they didn’t seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone,
32 Ayɨ́ pí nánɨ apɨ tɨ́nɨ xɨxenɨ mimónɨgɨ́awixɨnɨ?
