1 Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.
1 Ámá ayɨ́ ayɨ́ gapɨmanɨ́yo sɨmaŋwɨ́yónɨŋɨ́ yeáyɨ́ wurɨ́nɨ́ɨ́rɨxɨnɨ. Gapɨmanɨ́ wí nimónɨróná wigɨ́ dɨŋɨ́yo dánɨ imónarɨgɨ́ámanɨ. Gorɨxoyá dɨŋɨ́yo dánɨ imónarɨgɨ́árɨnɨ. O xe oimónɨ́poyɨnɨrɨ sɨŋwɨ́ wɨnarɨŋɨ́yɨ́nɨ gapɨmanɨ́yɨ́ imónarɨgɨ́á eŋagɨ nánɨ rarɨŋɨnɨ.
2 Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgement.
2 Ayɨnánɨ gapɨmanɨ́yo ámá gɨyɨ́ wiaíkianɨro nerɨ́náyɨ́, ayɨ́ Gorɨxo “E oimónɨ́poyɨ.” yaiwiŋɨ́pɨ enɨ pɨ́rɨ́ rakianɨro yarɨŋoɨ. Ámá e éɨ́áyɨ́ rɨ́á meaárɨnanɨro yarɨŋoɨ.
3 For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the authority,
3 Ayɨ́ rɨpɨ nánɨ seararɨŋɨnɨ. Gorɨxo gapɨmanɨ́ nimónɨro seameŋweagɨ́áyɨ́ naŋɨ́ yarɨgɨ́áyo eŋɨ́ óɨ́ wimɨxɨ́ɨ́rɨxɨnɨrɨ wimɨxɨŋɨ́manɨ. Sɨpí yarɨgɨ́áyo eŋɨ́ óɨ́ wimɨxɨ́ɨ́rɨxɨnɨrɨ wimɨxɨŋɨ́rɨnɨ. “Neameŋweagɨ́áyɨ́ nánɨ wáyɨ́ mepa oemɨnɨ.” nɨseaimónɨrɨ́náyɨ́, naŋɨ́nɨ erɨ́ɨnɨ. E yarɨŋagɨ́a sɨŋwɨ́ nɨseanɨrɨ́náyɨ́, yayɨ́ seamepɨ́rɨ́árɨnɨ.
4 for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil.
4 Seameŋweagɨ́áyɨ́ Gorɨxo seyɨ́né naŋɨ́ seaiíɨ́rɨxɨnɨrɨ wimɨxɨŋɨ́ eŋagɨ nánɨ seararɨŋɨnɨ. E nerɨ aiwɨ seyɨ́né sɨpí nerɨ́náyɨ́, eŋɨ́ óɨ́ erɨ́ɨnɨ. Gapɨmanɨ́yɨ́ kikiɨ́á éwanɨgɨnɨrɨ iwaŋɨ́ ɨ́á rɨxɨrɨŋoɨ? Oweoɨ, Gorɨxo sɨpí néra warɨgɨ́áyɨ́ re oyaiwípoyɨnɨrɨ, “O nene nánɨ wikɨ́ wónɨŋagɨ nánɨ gapɨmanɨ́yɨ́ pɨrɨ́ e rɨ́a neamamoarɨŋoɨ?” oyaiwípoyɨnɨrɨ seameŋweagɨ́áyɨ́ sɨpí yarɨgɨ́áyo pɨrɨ́ umamóɨ́rɨxɨnɨrɨ wimɨxɨŋɨ́ eŋagɨ nánɨ seararɨŋɨnɨ.
5 Therefore you need to be in subjection, not only because of the wrath, but also for conscience’ sake.
5 Ayɨnánɨ nene ayo sɨmaŋwɨ́yónɨŋɨ́ yeáyɨ́ wurɨ́nɨ́wanɨgɨnɨ. “Pɨrɨ́ mɨneamamopa epɨ́rɨ́a nánɨnɨ sɨmaŋwɨ́yónɨŋɨ́ yeáyɨ́ wurɨ́nɨ́wanɨgɨnɨ.” marɨ́áɨ, “Nene wonɨ wonɨ negɨ́ yarɨŋwápɨ nánɨ nɨyaiwinɨrɨ́ná ‘Ayo sɨmaŋwɨ́yónɨŋɨ́ nɨwurɨ́nɨrɨ́ná, apánɨ yarɨŋwɨnɨ.’ yaiwianɨ́wá nánɨ enɨ sɨmaŋwɨ́yónɨŋɨ́ yeáyɨ́ wurɨ́nɨ́wanɨgɨnɨ.” seararɨŋɨnɨ.
6 For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are servants of God’s service, continually doing this very thing.
6 “Apánɨ rɨ́a yarɨŋwɨnɨ?” yaiwianɨ́wá nánɨ enɨ gapɨmanɨ́yo nɨgwɨ́ takisɨ́ nánɨ mɨnɨ wiarɨŋwárɨnɨ. Gorɨxo neameŋweáɨ́rɨxɨnɨrɨ wimɨxɨŋowa píránɨŋɨ́ neameŋweaanɨro nánɨ anɨŋɨ́ minɨ́ yarɨŋagɨ́a nánɨ seararɨŋɨnɨ.
7 Therefore give everyone what you owe: if you owe taxes, pay taxes; if customs, then customs; if respect, then respect; if honour, then honour.
7 Seameŋweagɨ́á gɨyo pí pí mɨnɨ wipaxɨ́ imónɨŋɨ́pɨ ananɨ mɨnɨ wíɨ́rɨxɨnɨ. Takisɨ́ nánɨ pí pí nɨgwɨ́ wipɨ́rɨ́a nánɨ imónɨgɨ́áyo sa ananɨ mɨnɨ wíɨ́rɨxɨnɨ. Sɨmaŋwɨ́yónɨŋɨ́ yeáyɨ́ wurɨ́nɨpɨ́rɨ́a nánɨ imónɨgɨ́áyo e wurɨ́nɨ́ɨ́rɨxɨnɨ. Wé íkwiaŋwɨ́yo umepɨ́rɨ́a nánɨ imónɨgɨ́áyo e uméɨ́rɨxɨnɨ.
8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbour has fulfilled the law.
8 Seyɨ́né ɨ́wɨ́ éɨ́ápimɨ dánɨ “Nɨgwɨ́ neaiapeɨ.” searɨpaxɨ́yɨ́né mimónɨpa éɨ́rɨxɨnɨ. Apɨ mimónɨ́ “Dɨŋɨ́ sɨpí neaiɨ.” searɨpaxɨ́pɨnɨ imónɨ́ɨ́rɨxɨnɨ. Pí nánɨ marɨ́áɨ, ámá wo wíyo dɨŋɨ́ sɨpí nɨwirɨ́ná ŋwɨ́ ikaxɨ́ eánɨŋɨ́pɨ tɨ́nɨ xɨxenɨ yarɨŋɨ́ eŋagɨ nánɨ rarɨŋɨnɨ.
9 For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbour as yourself."
9 Bɨkwɨ́yo dánɨ rɨpɨ rɨpɨ rɨnɨŋɨ́yɨ́, “Meánɨgɨ́áyɨ́né wí tɨ́nɨ ɨ́wɨ́ minɨpanɨ. Nɨwiápɨ́nɨmearɨ ámá mɨpɨkipanɨ. Ɨ́wɨ́ mɨmeapanɨ. Amɨpí wayá nánɨ sɨŋwɨ́ ɨ́wɨ́ mɨwɨnɨpanɨ.” apɨ apɨ rɨnɨŋɨ́yɨ́ tɨ́nɨ sekaxɨ́ ámɨ bɨ enɨ rɨnɨŋɨ́ eŋánáyɨ́, nɨ́nɨ nawínɨ nɨkwierorɨ́ná sekaxɨ́ ná bimɨnɨ, Jisaso “Jɨwanɨŋoxɨ nánɨ dɨŋɨ́ sɨpí inarɨŋɨ́pa ámá wíyo nánɨ dɨŋɨ́ sɨpí wíɨrɨxɨnɨ.” rɨŋɨ́pimɨ ɨkwɨkwɨ́rɨ́ inɨŋagɨ nánɨ seararɨŋɨnɨ.
10 Love doesn’t harm a neighbour. Love therefore is the fulfilment of the law.
10 Ámá wo womɨ nepa dɨŋɨ́ sɨpí nɨwirɨ́ná sɨpí bɨ wiarɨŋɨ́manɨ. Ayɨnánɨ “Ámá wigɨ́ wínɨyo dɨŋɨ́ sɨpí nɨwirɨ́náyɨ́, ŋwɨ́ ikaxɨ́ rɨnɨŋɨ́yɨ́ tɨ́nɨ xɨxenɨ yarɨŋoɨ.” seararɨŋɨnɨ.
11 Do this, knowing the time, that it is already time for you to awaken out of sleep, for salvation is now nearer to us than when we first believed.
11 Rɨpɨ enɨ osearɨmɨnɨ. Agwɨ ríná nene ŋweaŋwáíná nánɨ seyɨ́né nɨjɨ́á imónɨŋoɨ. Sɨ́á Kiraiso nɨweapɨrɨ yeáyɨ́ neayimɨxemeanɨ́áyi nene dɨŋɨ́ iwamɨ́ó wɨkwɨ́róáná ná jɨ́amɨ imónɨŋɨ́pa sɨnɨ e mimónɨŋagɨ nánɨ sá wegɨ́áyɨ́né wiápɨ́nɨmeapaxíná rɨxa rínárɨnɨ.
12 The night is far gone, and the day is near. Let’s therefore throw off the deeds of darkness, and let’s put on the armour of light.
12 Sɨ́á nɨyiga núɨsáná rɨxa wɨ́á nókía warɨŋɨ́pa sɨ́á nene xwɨ́á tɨ́yo ŋweanɨ́wá nánɨ imónɨŋɨ́yɨ́ rɨxa nóra warɨnɨ. 13 Let’s walk properly, as in the day; not in revelling and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and lustful acts, and not in strife and jealousy.
13 Ámá ikwáwɨyíná píránɨŋɨ́ yarɨgɨ́ápa neranéná papɨkɨ́ erane uyɨ́niɨ́ erane mepa éwanɨgɨnɨ. Ámá wí tɨ́nɨ ɨ́wɨ́ inɨrane iyɨ́ ede dánɨ onarɨgɨ́ápɨ monɨpa éwanɨgɨnɨ. Xeanɨŋɨ́ rɨnɨmerane sɨpí dɨŋɨ́ yaiwinɨrane mepa éwanɨgɨnɨ.
14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.
