1 Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married; for he had married a Cushite woman.
1 Falaram Miriã e Arão contra Moisés, por causa da mulher cuxita que tomara; pois tinha tomado a mulher cuxita.
2 They said, "Has the LORD indeed spoken only with Moses? Hasn’t he spoken also with us?" And the LORD heard it.
2 E disseram: Porventura, tem falado o Senhor somente por Moisés? Não tem falado também por nós? O Senhor o ouviu.
3 Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all the men who were on the surface of the earth.
3 Era o varão Moisés mui manso, mais do que todos os homens que havia sobre a terra.
4 The LORD spoke suddenly to Moses, to Aaron, and to Miriam, "You three come out to the Tent of Meeting!"
4 Logo o Senhor disse a Moisés, e a Arão, e a Miriã: Vós três, saí à tenda da congregação. E saíram eles três.
5 The LORD came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the door of the Tent, and called Aaron and Miriam; and they both came forward.
5 Então, o Senhor desceu na coluna de nuvem e se pôs à porta da tenda; depois, chamou a Arão e a Miriã, e eles se apresentaram.
6 He said, "Now hear my words. If there is a prophet amongst you, I, the LORD, will make myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream.
6 Então, disse: Ouvi, agora, as minhas palavras; se entre vós há profeta, eu, o Senhor , em visão a ele, me faço conhecer ou falo com ele em sonhos.
7 My servant Moses is not so. He is faithful in all my house.
7 Não é assim com o meu servo Moisés, que é fiel em toda a minha casa.
8 With him, I will speak mouth to mouth, even plainly, and not in riddles; and he shall see the LORD’s form. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?"
8 Boca a boca falo com ele, claramente e não por enigmas; pois ele vê a forma do Senhor ; como, pois, não temestes falar contra o meu servo, contra Moisés?
9 The LORD’s anger burnt against them; and he departed.
9 E a ira do Senhor contra eles se acendeu; e retirou-se.
10 The cloud departed from over the Tent; and behold, Miriam was leprous, as white as snow. Aaron looked at Miriam, and behold, she was leprous.
10 A nuvem afastou-se de sobre a tenda; e eis que Miriã achou-se leprosa, branca como neve; e olhou Arão para Miriã, e eis que estava leprosa.
11 Aaron said to Moses, "Oh, my lord, please don’t count this sin against us, in which we have done foolishly, and in which we have sinned.
11 Então, disse Arão a Moisés: Ai! Senhor meu, não ponhas, te rogo, sobre nós este pecado, pois loucamente procedemos e pecamos.
12 Let her not, I pray, be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother’s womb."
12 Ora, não seja ela como um aborto, que, saindo do ventre de sua mãe, tenha metade de sua carne já consumida.
13 Moses cried to the LORD, saying, "Heal her, God, I beg you!"
13 Moisés clamou ao Senhor , dizendo: Ó Deus, rogo-te que a cures.
14 The LORD said to Moses, "If her father had but spit in her face, shouldn’t she be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut up outside of the camp seven days, and after that she shall be brought in again."
14 Respondeu o Senhor a Moisés: Se seu pai lhe cuspira no rosto, não seria envergonhada por sete dias? Seja detida sete dias fora do arraial e, depois, recolhida.
15 Miriam was shut up outside of the camp seven days, and the people didn’t travel until Miriam was brought in again.
15 Assim, Miriã foi detida fora do arraial por sete dias; e o povo não partiu enquanto Miriã não foi recolhida.
16 Afterward the people travelled from Hazeroth, and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.
16 Porém, depois, o povo partiu de Hazerote e acampou-se no deserto de Parã.
