1 Then the heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites came near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel.
1 Então, se chegaram os cabeças dos pais dos levitas a Eleazar, o sacerdote, e a Josué, filho de Num, e aos cabeças dos pais das tribos dos filhos de Israel;
2 They spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, "The LORD commanded through Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with their pasture lands for our livestock."
2 e falaram-lhes em Siló, na terra de Canaã, dizendo: O Senhor ordenou, por intermédio de Moisés, que se nos dessem cidades para habitar e os seus arredores para os nossos animais.
3 The children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of the LORD, these cities with their pasture lands.
3 E os filhos de Israel deram aos levitas, da sua herança, segundo o mandado do Senhor , estas cidades e os seus arredores.
4 The lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. The children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had thirteen cities by lot out of the tribe of Judah, out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin.
4 Caiu a sorte pelas famílias dos coatitas. Assim, os filhos de Arão, o sacerdote, que eram dos levitas, tiveram, por sorte, da tribo de Judá, da tribo de Simeão e da tribo de Benjamim treze cidades.
5 The rest of the children of Kohath had ten cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.
5 Os outros filhos de Coate tiveram, por sorte, das famílias da tribo de Efraim, da tribo de Dã e da meia tribo de Manassés dez cidades.
6 The children of Gershon had thirteen cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, out of the tribe of Asher, out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
6 Os filhos de Gérson tiveram, por sorte, das famílias da tribo de Issacar, da tribo de Aser, da tribo de Naftali e da meia tribo de Manassés, em Basã, treze cidades.
7 The children of Merari according to their families had twelve cities out of the tribe of Reuben, out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.
7 Os filhos de Merari tiveram, por sorte, segundo as suas famílias, da tribo de Rúben, da tribo de Gade e da tribo de Zebulom doze cidades.
8 The children of Israel gave these cities with their pasture lands by lot to the Levites, as the LORD commanded by Moses.
8 Deram os filhos de Israel aos levitas estas cidades e os seus arredores, por sorte, como o Senhor ordenara por intermédio de Moisés.
9 They gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are mentioned by name:
9 Deram mais, da tribo dos filhos de Judá e da tribo dos filhos de Simeão, estas cidades que, nominalmente, foram designadas,
10 and they were for the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.
10 para que fossem dos filhos de Arão, das famílias dos coatitas, dos filhos de Levi, porquanto a primeira sorte foi deles.
11 They gave them Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak (also called Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, with its pasture lands around it.
11 Assim, lhes deram Quiriate-Arba (Arba era pai de Anaque), que é Hebrom, na região montanhosa de Judá, e, em torno dela, os seus arredores.
12 But they gave the fields of the city and its villages to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
12 Porém o campo da cidade, com suas aldeias, deram a Calebe, filho de Jefoné, por sua possessão.
13 To the children of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, Libnah with its pasture lands,
13 Assim, aos filhos de Arão, o sacerdote, deram Hebrom, cidade de refúgio do homicida, com seus arredores, Libna com seus arredores,
14 Jattir with its pasture lands, Eshtemoa with its pasture lands,
14 Jatir com seus arredores, Estemoa com seus arredores,
15 Holon with its pasture lands, Debir with its pasture lands,
15 Holom com seus arredores, Debir com seus arredores,
16 Ain with its pasture lands, Juttah with its pasture lands, and Beth Shemesh with its pasture lands: nine cities out of those two tribes.

17 Out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its pasture lands, Geba with its pasture lands,

18 Anathoth with its pasture lands, and Almon with its pasture lands: four cities.
18 Anatote com seus arredores e Almom com seus arredores; ao todo, quatro cidades.
19 All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their pasture lands.
19 Total das cidades dos sacerdotes, filhos de Arão: treze cidades com seus arredores.
20 The families of the children of Kohath, the Levites, even the rest of the children of Kohath, had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.
20 As mais famílias dos levitas de Coate tiveram as cidades da sua sorte da tribo de Efraim.
21 They gave them Shechem with its pasture lands in the hill country of Ephraim, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Gezer with its pasture lands,

22 Kibzaim with its pasture lands, and Beth Horon with its pasture lands: four cities.

23 Out of the tribe of Dan, Elteke with its pasture lands, Gibbethon with its pasture lands,

24 Aijalon with its pasture lands, Gath Rimmon with its pasture lands: four cities.

25 Out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its pasture lands, and Gath Rimmon with its pasture lands: two cities.

26 All the cities of the families of the rest of the children of Kohath were ten with their pasture lands.

27 They gave to the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh Golan in Bashan with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Be Eshterah with its pasture lands: two cities.
27 Aos filhos de Gérson, das famílias dos levitas, deram, em Basã, da tribo de Manassés, Golã, a cidade de refúgio para o homicida, com seus arredores, e Beesterá com seus arredores; ao todo, duas cidades.
28 Out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishion with its pasture lands, Daberath with its pasture lands,

32 Da tribo de Naftali, deram, na Galileia, Quedes, cidade de refúgio para o homicida, com seus arredores, Hamote-Dor com seus arredores e Cartã com seus arredores; ao todo, três cidades.
33 All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their pasture lands.
33 Total das cidades dos gersonitas, segundo as suas famílias: treze cidades com seus arredores.
34 To the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with its pasture lands, Kartah with its pasture lands,
34 Às famílias dos demais levitas dos filhos de Merari deram, da tribo de Zebulom, Jocneão com seus arredores, Cartá com seus arredores,
35 Dimnah with its pasture lands, and Nahalal with its pasture lands: four cities.
35 Dimna com seus arredores e Naalal com seus arredores; ao todo, quatro cidades.
36 Out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with its pasture lands, Jahaz with its pasture lands,
36 Da tribo de Rúben, deram Bezer com seus arredores, Jaza com seus arredores,
37 Kedemoth with its pasture lands, and Mephaath with its pasture lands: four cities.
37 Quedemote com seus arredores e Mefaate com seus arredores; ao todo, quatro cidades.
38 Out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Mahanaim with its pasture lands,
38 Da tribo de Gade, deram, em Gileade, Ramote, cidade de refúgio para o homicida, com seus arredores, Maanaim com seus arredores,
39 Heshbon with its pasture lands, Jazer with its pasture lands: four cities in all.
39 Hesbom com seus arredores e Jazer com seus arredores; ao todo, quatro cidades.
40 All these were the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites. Their lot was twelve cities.
40 Todas estas cidades tocaram por sorte aos filhos de Merari, segundo as suas famílias, que ainda restavam das famílias dos levitas: doze cidades.
41 All the cities of the Levites amongst the possessions of the children of Israel were forty-eight cities with their pasture lands.
41 As cidades, pois, dos levitas, no meio da herança dos filhos de Israel, foram, ao todo, quarenta e oito cidades com seus arredores;
42 Each of these cities included their pasture lands around them. It was this way with all these cities.
42 cada uma das quais com seus arredores em torno de si; assim foi com todas estas cidades.
43 So the LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers. They possessed it, and lived in it.
43 Desta maneira, deu o Senhor a Israel toda a terra que jurara dar a seus pais; e a possuíram e habitaram nela.
44 The LORD gave them rest all around, according to all that he swore to their fathers. Not a man of all their enemies stood before them. The LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
44 O Senhor lhes deu repouso em redor, segundo tudo quanto jurara a seus pais; nenhum de todos os seus inimigos resistiu diante deles; a todos eles o Senhor lhes entregou nas mãos.
45 Nothing failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
45 Nenhuma promessa falhou de todas as boas palavras que o Senhor falara à casa de Israel; tudo se cumpriu.
