1 Tessalonicenses 4
WEBBE vs XGS
1 Finally then, brothers, we beg and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more and more.
1 Gɨ́ nɨrɨxɨ́meáyɨ́né, nionɨ payɨ́ rɨna yoparɨ́pɨ nearɨ́ná Ámɨná Jisaso wáɨ́ nurɨmeíɨ́rɨxɨnɨrɨ nearowárɨŋɨ́ eŋagɨ nánɨ ayá tɨ́nɨ nerɨ eŋɨ́ rɨrémɨxɨ́ bɨ rɨpɨ oseaianeyɨ. Seyɨ́né nemeróná Gorɨxo yayɨ́ winɨpaxɨ́pɨ epɨ́rɨ́a nánɨ searéwapɨyiŋwápɨ tɨ́nɨ rɨxa xɨxenɨ yarɨŋoɨ. E nero aí apimɨ nɨmúroro ámɨ bɨ tɨ́nɨ oyaneyɨnɨro éɨ́rɨxɨnɨ.
2 For you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus.
2 Sekaxɨ́ rɨnɨŋɨ́ Ámɨná Jisaso nearɨ́peaŋone searéwapɨyiŋwápɨ nánɨ seyɨ́né nɨjɨ́á imónɨŋagɨ́a nánɨ rarɨŋɨnɨ.
3 For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality,
3 Gorɨxo seyɨ́né e éɨ́rɨxɨnɨrɨ wimónarɨŋɨ́pɨ ayɨ́ rɨpɨrɨnɨ. Sɨyikwɨ́ mínɨgɨ́áyɨ́né imónɨ́ɨ́rɨxɨnɨ. Ámá wí tɨ́nɨ ɨ́wɨ́ bɨ minɨpa éɨ́rɨxɨnɨ.
4 that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honour,
4 Meánɨgɨ́áyɨ́né ámɨ wí tɨ́nɨ ɨ́wɨ́ bɨ minɨ́ Gorɨxoyá sɨŋwɨ́yo dánɨ sɨyikwɨ́ mínɨŋɨ́ imónɨŋɨ́pɨ ero ámáyá sɨŋwɨ́yo dánɨ weyɨ́ seamearɨpaxɨ́ imónɨŋɨ́pɨ ero nero xɨxenɨ meánɨ́ɨ́rɨxɨnɨ.
5 not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God,
5 Émáyɨ́ —Ayɨ́ ámá Gorɨxo nánɨ dɨŋɨ́ mɨmoarɨgɨ́áyɨ́rɨnɨ. Ayɨ́ ɨ́wɨ́ inanɨro nánɨ mɨŋɨ́ ninɨro sɨ́mɨ́ xeadɨ́pénarɨgɨ́ápa mepa éɨ́rɨxɨnɨ.
6 that no one should take advantage of and wrong a brother or sister in this matter; because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.
6 Segɨ́ sérɨxɨ́meánɨŋɨ́ imónɨgɨ́áyɨ́yá apɨxɨ́ tɨ́nɨ ɨ́wɨ́ oinaneyɨnɨro yapɨ́ nɨwímearɨ nɨwero sɨpí mɨwikárɨpa éɨ́rɨxɨnɨ. Xámɨ seyɨ́né tɨ́nɨ nɨŋwearanéná áwaŋɨ́ searɨrane erɨrɨ́ seairane eŋwápa xɨxenɨ ámá ɨ́wɨ́ apɨ éɨ́áyo Ámɨnáo pɨrɨ́ umamonɨ́á eŋagɨ nánɨ seararɨŋɨnɨ.
7 For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification.
7 Gorɨxo nene ámá wí tɨ́nɨ ɨ́wɨ́ inanɨ́wá nánɨ nionɨyáyɨ́ imónɨ́ɨ́rɨxɨnɨrɨ wéyo ɨ́á neaumɨrɨŋɨ́manɨ. Gɨ́ sɨyikwɨ́ minɨgɨ́áyɨ́ imónɨ́ɨ́rɨxɨnɨrɨ wéyo ɨ́á neaumɨrɨŋɨ́rɨnɨ.
8 Therefore he who rejects this doesn’t reject man, but God, who has also given his Holy Spirit to you.
8 Ayɨnánɨ rɨpɨ nánɨ dɨŋɨ́ móɨ́rɨxɨnɨ. Gɨyɨ́ gɨyɨ́ nionɨ seararɨŋápɨ rɨ́wɨ́mɨnɨ nɨmamorɨ́náyɨ́, ayɨ́ ámáyonɨ rɨ́wɨ́ mumoarɨŋoɨ. Ayɨ́ Gorɨxomɨ —O nene sɨyikwɨ́ mínɨŋɨ́ imónanɨ nánɨ xegɨ́ kwíyɨ́pɨ owaínɨnɨrɨ sɨxɨ́ neamímoarɨŋorɨnɨ. Omɨ rɨ́wɨ́ umoarɨŋoɨ.
9 But concerning brotherly love, you have no need that one write to you. For you yourselves are taught by God to love one another,
9 Sérɨxɨ́meá nánɨ dɨŋɨ́ sɨpí nɨseairɨ arɨrá nɨwirɨ́ná epaxɨ́pɨ nánɨ Gorɨxo xewanɨŋo rɨxa seaíwapɨyiŋɨ́ eŋagɨ nánɨ none aí wí rɨ́wamɨŋɨ́ nearɨ searɨpaxɨ́ mimónɨŋwɨnɨ.
10 for indeed you do it towards all the brothers who are in all Macedonia. But we exhort you, brothers, that you abound more and more;
10 Sérɨxɨ́meá segɨ́ Masedonia pɨropenɨsɨ́yo amɨ gɨmɨ ŋweagɨ́áyo nánɨ rɨxa dɨŋɨ́ sɨpí nɨwiro arɨrá wiarɨŋoɨ. Gɨ́ nɨrɨxɨ́meáyɨ́né, seyɨ́né e yarɨŋagɨ́a aí ámɨ bɨ rɨpɨ oépoyɨnɨrɨ yarɨŋɨ́ oseaimɨnɨ. Seyɨ́né dɨŋɨ́ sɨpí e wiarɨgɨ́ápɨ ámɨ xwé bɨ tɨ́nɨ nimóga úɨ́rɨxɨnɨ.
11 and that you make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, even as we instructed you,
11 Porowa xámɨ sekaxɨ́ nearɨgɨ́ápa xɨxenɨ píránɨŋɨ́ oimónaneyɨnɨro éɨ́rɨxɨnɨ. Awayinɨ yapenɨŋwaéne oimónaneyɨnɨrɨ ero wí yarɨgɨ́ápɨ marɨ́áɨ, negɨ́ yarɨŋwápɨnɨ oainenaxɨ́daneyɨnɨrɨ ero negɨ́ omɨŋɨ́ enɨ nɨrɨ́kwínɨmáná oyaneyɨnɨrɨ ero éɨ́rɨxɨnɨ.
12 that you may walk properly towards those who are outside, and may have need of nothing.
12 E nerónáyɨ́, nɨpɨ́rɨ nánɨranɨ, yínɨpɨ́rɨ nánɨranɨ, dɨ́wɨ́ mikeamónɨpa ero ámá Gorɨxoyá mimónɨgɨ́áyɨ́ re seaiaiwipaxɨ́pɨ ero, “Ayɨ́ wé rónɨŋɨ́ imónɨŋɨ́pɨ yarɨŋoɨ.” seaiaiwipaxɨ́pɨ ero epɨ́rɨ́á eŋagɨ nánɨ seararɨŋɨnɨ.
13 But we don’t want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don’t grieve like the rest, who have no hope.
13 Gɨ́ nɨrɨxɨ́meáyɨ́né, ámá re nɨyaiwirɨ, “Gɨ́ ámá pɨyɨ́ ro Gorɨxo sɨŋɨ́ wimɨxáná nɨwiápɨ́nɨmeanɨ́árɨnɨ.” nɨyaiwirɨ mikwɨ́moarɨgɨ́áyɨ́ iwieánarɨgɨ́ápa seyɨ́né enɨ axɨ́pɨ miwieánɨpa éɨ́rɨxɨnɨrɨ péɨ́áyɨ́ imónɨpɨ́rɨ́ápɨ nánɨ xe majɨ́á oimónɨ́poyɨnɨrɨ mɨneaimónarɨnɨ.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
14 Jisaso nɨpémáná ámɨ wiápɨ́nɨmeaŋɨ́rɨnɨ. E eŋɨ́pɨ nánɨ nene rɨxa “Neparɨnɨ.” nɨyaiwirane dɨŋɨ́ ɨkwɨ́roŋwɨnɨ. Ayɨnánɨ Jisaso eŋɨ́ apɨ re yaiwiarɨŋwápimɨ sopɨŋɨ́ wonɨ, “Ámá Jisasomɨ dɨŋɨ́ nɨwɨkwɨ́rorɨ́ná péɨ́áyo Gorɨxo xegɨ́ tɨ́ŋɨ́ e nánɨ o tɨ́nɨ nawínɨ nɨmeámɨ unɨ́árɨnɨ.” yaiwiarɨŋwápimɨ sopɨŋɨ́ wonɨ.
15 For this we tell you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede those who have fallen asleep.
15 Rɨpɨ ranɨ́pɨ, ayɨ́ Ámɨnáo rɨŋɨ́pɨrɨnɨ. O ámɨ báná nene sɨnɨ sɨŋɨ́ ŋweaŋwaéne omɨ wímeaanɨ nánɨ pegɨ́áyo xámɨ umeanɨ́wámanɨ.
16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first,
16 Íná aŋɨ́namɨ dánɨ apɨ́ bɨ eŋɨ́ tɨ́nɨ rɨnɨrɨ aŋɨ́najɨ́yo xɨráónɨŋɨ́ imónɨŋóyá maŋɨ́ rɨnɨrɨ pékákɨ́ Gorɨxoyá rɨnɨrɨ yarɨ́ná Ámɨnáo xewanɨŋo aŋɨ́namɨ dánɨ weapɨnɨ́árɨnɨ. Aŋɨ́namɨ dánɨ weapáná ámá xɨ́omɨ dɨŋɨ́ wɨkwɨ́rogɨ́á rɨxa pegɨ́áyɨ́ xámɨ sɨŋɨ́ nero wiápɨ́nɨmeapɨ́rɨ́árɨnɨ.
17 then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.
17 Rɨxa nɨwiápɨ́nɨmeámáná eŋáná sɨnɨ sɨŋɨ́ ŋweaŋwaéne enɨ Ámɨnáomɨ aŋɨ́ pɨrɨ́yo wímeanɨ nánɨ ayɨ́ tɨ́nɨ nawínɨ agwɨ́pɨ tɨ́ŋɨ́ e nánɨ neayoaánapɨnɨ́árɨnɨ.
18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
18 Ayɨnánɨ segɨ́yɨ́ wí wigɨ́ ámá péáná xwɨyɨ́á apɨ nurɨro mɨŋɨ́ ikɨŋwɨ́ umɨrɨ́ɨ́rɨxɨnɨ.
