1 Oh clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with the voice of triumph!
1 Aplaudi com as mãos, todos os povos; cantai a Deus com voz de triunfo.
2 For Yahweh Most High is awesome. He is a great King over all the earth.
2 Porque o Senhor Altíssimo é tremendo e Rei grande sobre toda a terra.
3 He subdues nations under us, and peoples under our feet.
3 Ele nos submeterá os povos e porá as nações debaixo dos nossos pés.
4 He chooses our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob whom he loved.
4 Escolherá para nós a nossa herança, a glória de Jacó, a quem amou. (Selá)
5 God has gone up with a shout, Yahweh with the sound of a trumpet.
5 Deus subiu com júbilo, o Senhor subiu ao som da trombeta.
6 Sing praises to God! Sing praises! Sing praises to our King! Sing praises!
6 Cantai louvores a Deus, cantai louvores; cantai louvores ao nosso Rei, cantai louvores.
7 For God is the King of all the earth. Sing praises with understanding.
7 Pois Deus é o Rei de toda a terra; cantai louvores com inteligência.
8 God reigns over the nations. God sits on his holy throne.
8 Deus reina sobre as nações; Deus se assenta sobre o trono da sua santidade.
9 The princes of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God. He is greatly exalted!
9 Os príncipes dos povos se congregam para serem o povo do Deus de Abraão; porque os escudos da terra são de Deus; ele está muito elevado!
