¹ And Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

¹ No segundo ano após a saída dos filhos de Israel do Egito, no primeiro dia do segundo mês, falou o Senhor a Moisés, no deserto do Sinai, na tenda da congregação, dizendo:

² Take{+} the sum of all the congregation of the sons of Israel, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, every male, by their polls;

² Levantai o censo de toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel, segundo as suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contando todos os homens, nominalmente, cabeça por cabeça.

³ from twenty years old and upward, all who are able to go forth to war in Israel, you and Aaron will number them by their hosts.

³ Da idade de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra em Israel, a esses contareis segundo os seus exércitos, tu e Arão.

⁴ And with you{+} there will be a man of each tribe; [each] man head of his fathers' house.

⁴ De cada tribo vos assistirá um homem que seja cabeça da casa de seus pais.

⁵ And these are the names of the men who will stand with you{+}. Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.

⁵ Estes, pois, são os nomes dos homens que vos assistirão: de Rúben, Elizur, filho de Sedeur;

⁶ Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

⁶ de Simeão, Selumiel, filho de Zurisadai;

⁷ Of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

⁷ de Judá, Naassom, filho de Aminadabe;

⁸ Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.

⁹ Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Helon.

¹⁰ Of the sons of Joseph: Of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud. Of Manasseh: Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

¹⁶ These are those who were called of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; they were the heads of the thousands of Israel.

¹⁶ Estes foram os chamados da congregação, os príncipes das tribos de seus pais, os cabeças dos milhares de Israel.

¹⁷ And Moses and Aaron took these men who are mentioned by name:

¹⁷ Então, Moisés e Arão tomaram estes homens, que foram designados pelos seus nomes.

¹⁸ And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.

¹⁸ E, tendo ajuntado toda a congregação no primeiro dia do mês segundo, declararam a descendência deles, segundo as suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, cabeça por cabeça.

¹⁹ As Yahweh commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

¹⁹ Como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés, assim os contou no deserto do Sinai.

²⁰ And the sons of Reuben, Israel's firstborn, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

²⁰ Dos filhos de Rúben, o primogênito de Israel, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, cabeça por cabeça, todos os homens de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,

²¹ those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.

²¹ foram contados deles, da tribo de Rúben, quarenta e seis mil e quinhentos.

²² Of the sons of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, those who were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

²² Dos filhos de Simeão, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, cabeça por cabeça, todos os homens de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,

²³ those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.

²³ foram contados deles, da tribo de Simeão, cinquenta e nove mil e trezentos.

²⁴ Of the sons of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

²⁴ Dos filhos de Gade, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,

²⁵ those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.

²⁵ foram contados deles, da tribo de Gade, quarenta e cinco mil seiscentos e cinquenta.

²⁶ Of the sons of Judah, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

²⁶ Dos filhos de Judá, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,

²⁷ those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.

²⁷ foram contados deles, da tribo de Judá, setenta e quatro mil e seiscentos.

²⁸ Of the sons of Issachar, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

²⁸ Dos filhos de Issacar, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,

²⁹ those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.

²⁹ foram contados deles, da tribo de Issacar, cinquenta e quatro mil e quatrocentos.

³⁰ Of the sons of Zebulun, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

³⁰ Dos filhos de Zebulom, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,

³¹ those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.

³¹ foram contados deles, da tribo de Zebulom, cinquenta e sete mil e quatrocentos.

³² Of the sons of Joseph, [namely], of the sons of Ephraim, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

³² Dos filhos de José, dos filhos de Efraim, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,

³³ those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.

³³ foram contados deles, da tribo de Efraim, quarenta mil e quinhentos.

³⁴ Of the sons of Manasseh, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

³⁴ Dos filhos de Manassés, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,

³⁵ those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.

³⁶ Of the sons of Benjamin, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

⁴⁰ Of the sons of Asher, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

⁴⁰ Dos filhos de Aser, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,

⁴¹ those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.

⁴¹ foram contados deles, da tribo de Aser, quarenta e um mil e quinhentos.

⁴² Of the sons of Naphtali, their generations, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

⁴² Dos filhos de Naftali, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, contados nominalmente, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,

⁴³ those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

⁴³ foram contados deles, da tribo de Naftali, cinquenta e três mil e quatrocentos.

⁴⁴ These were those numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: there was one man [each] for his fathers' house.

⁴⁴ Foram estes os contados, contados por Moisés e Arão; e os príncipes de Israel eram doze homens; cada um era pela casa de seus pais.

⁴⁵ So all those who were numbered of the sons of Israel by their fathers' houses, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war in Israel;

⁴⁵ Assim, pois, todos os contados dos filhos de Israel, segundo a casa de seus pais, de vinte anos para cima, todos os capazes de sair à guerra,

⁴⁶ even all those who were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

⁴⁶ todos os contados foram seiscentos e três mil quinhentos e cinquenta.

⁴⁷ But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

⁴⁷ Mas os levitas, segundo a tribo de seus pais, não foram contados entre eles,

⁴⁸ For Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

⁴⁸ porquanto o Senhor falara a Moisés, dizendo:

⁴⁹ Only the tribe of Levi you will not number, neither will you take the sum of them among the sons of Israel;

⁴⁹ Somente não contarás a tribo de Levi, nem levantarás o censo deles entre os filhos de Israel;

⁵⁰ but you appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all its furniture, and over all that belongs to it: they will bear the tabernacle, and all its furniture; and they will minister to it, and will encamp round about the tabernacle.

⁵⁰ mas incumbe tu os levitas de cuidarem do tabernáculo do Testemunho, e de todos os seus utensílios, e de tudo o que lhe pertence; eles levarão o tabernáculo e todos os seus utensílios; eles ministrarão no tabernáculo e acampar-se-ão ao redor dele.

⁵¹ And when the tabernacle sets forward, the Levites will take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites will set it up: and the stranger who comes near will be put to death.

⁵¹ Quando o tabernáculo partir, os levitas o desarmarão; e, quando assentar no arraial, os levitas o armarão; o estranho que se aproximar morrerá.

⁵² And the sons of Israel will pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their hosts.

⁵² Os filhos de Israel se acamparão, cada um no seu arraial e cada um junto ao seu estandarte, segundo as suas turmas.

⁵³ But the Levites will encamp round about the tabernacle of the testimony, that there be no wrath on the congregation of the sons of Israel: and the Levites will keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.

⁵³ Mas os levitas se acamparão ao redor do tabernáculo do Testemunho, para que não haja ira sobre a congregação dos filhos de Israel; pelo que os levitas tomarão a si o cuidar do tabernáculo do Testemunho.

⁵⁴ Thus did the sons of Israel; according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so they did.

⁵⁴ Assim fizeram os filhos de Israel; segundo tudo o que o Senhor ordenara a Moisés, assim o fizeram.
