1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
1 Falou mais o SENHOR a Moisés e a Arão dizendo:
2 This is the statute of the law which Jehovah has commanded, saying, Speak to the sons of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer, a perfect one, in which there is no blemish, on which no yoke ever came.
2 Este é o estatuto da lei, que o Senhor ordenou, dizendo: Dize aos filhos de Israel que te tragam uma novilha ruiva, que não tenha defeito, e sobre a qual não tenha sido posto jugo.
3 And you shall give her to Eleazar the priest, and she shall be brought forth outside the camp; and she shall be slaughtered before his face.
3 E a dareis a Eleazar, o sacerdote; ele a tirará para fora do arraial, e degolar-se-á diante dele.
4 And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and shall sprinkle of her blood toward the front of the tabernacle of the congregation seven times.
4 E Eleazar, o sacerdote, tomará do seu sangue com o seu dedo, e dele espargirá para a frente da tenda da congregação sete vezes.
5 And the heifer shall be burned before his eyes; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood with her dung, shall be burned.
5 Então queimará a novilha perante os seus olhos; o seu couro, e a sua carne, e o seu sangue, com o seu esterco, se queimará.
6 And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop and scarlet, and shall cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.
6 E o sacerdote tomará pau de cedro, e hissopo, e carmesim, e os lançará no meio do fogo que queima a novilha.
7 Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he may come into the camp; and the priest shall be unclean until the evening.
7 Então o sacerdote lavará as suas vestes, e banhará a sua carne na água, e depois entrará no arraial; e o sacerdote será imundo até à tarde.
8 And he that burned her shall wash his clothes in water, and shall bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the evening.
8 Também o que a queimou lavará as suas vestes com água, e em água banhará a sua carne, e imundo será até à tarde.
9 And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and shall lay them up outside the camp in a clean place. And it shall be kept for the congregation of the sons of Israel for a water of impurity; it is a purging offering.
9 E um homem limpo ajuntará a cinza da novilha, e a porá fora do arraial, num lugar limpo, e ficará ela guardada para a congregação dos filhos de Israel, para a água da separação; expiação é.
10 And he that gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and shall be unclean until the evening; and it shall be to the sons of Israel, and to the stranger that lives among them, for a never ending statute.
10 E o que apanhou a cinza da novilha lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até à tarde; isto será por estatuto perpétuo aos filhos de Israel e ao estrangeiro que peregrina no meio deles.
11 He that touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.
11 Aquele que tocar em algum morto, cadáver de algum homem, imundo será sete dias.
12 He shall cleanse himself for it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean. And if he does not cleanse himself on the third day, then on the seventh day he shall not be clean.
12 Ao terceiro dia se purificará com aquela água, e ao sétimo dia será limpo; mas, se ao terceiro dia se não purificar, não será limpo ao sétimo dia.
13 Anyone who touches the dead body, the body of a man who dies, and does not cleanse himself, he shall have defiled the tabernacle of Jehovah; and that person shall be cut off from Israel, for the water of impurity shall not be sprinkled upon him. He shall be unclean; his uncleanness shall be still on him.
13 Todo aquele que tocar em algum morto, cadáver de algum homem, e não se purificar, contamina o tabernáculo do Senhor; e aquela pessoa será extirpada de Israel; porque a água da separação não foi espargida sobre ele, imundo será; está nele ainda a sua imundícia.
14 This is the law when a man dies in a tent: Everyone who comes into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
14 Esta é a lei, quando morrer algum homem em alguma tenda, todo aquele que entrar naquela tenda, e todo aquele que nela estiver, será imundo sete dias.
15 And every open vessel which has no covering of thread on it shall be unclean.
15 Também todo o vaso aberto, sobre o qual não houver pano atado, será imundo.
16 And whoever in the open field touches one that has been pierced with a sword, or one that has died of himself, or the bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
16 E todo aquele que sobre a face do campo tocar em alguém que for morto pela espada, ou em outro morto ou nos ossos de algum homem, ou numa sepultura, será imundo sete dias.
17 And for the unclean they shall take the ashes of the burning of the purging offering, and running water in a vessel shall be put on it.
17 Para um imundo, pois, tomarão da cinza da queima da expiação, e sobre ela colocarão água corrente num vaso.
18 And a clean person shall take hyssop, and shall dip it in the water, and shall sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave.
18 E um homem limpo tomará hissopo, e o molhará naquela água, e a espargirá sobre aquela tenda, e sobre todos os móveis, e sobre as pessoas que ali estiverem, como também sobre aquele que tocar os ossos, ou em alguém que foi morto, ou que faleceu, ou numa sepultura.
19 And the clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day; and on the seventh day he shall purify himself; and he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at evening.
19 E o limpo ao terceiro e sétimo dia espargirá sobre o imundo; e ao sétimo dia o purificará; e lavará as suas vestes, e se banhará na água, e à tarde será limpo.
20 But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from the midst of the congregation, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Jehovah; the water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him; he shall be unclean.
20 Porém o que for imundo, e se não purificar, do meio da congregação será ele extirpado; porquanto contaminou o santuário do Senhor; água de separação sobre ele não foi espargida; imundo é.
21 And it shall be a never ending statute to them; and he that sprinkles the water of impurity shall wash his clothes; and he that touches the water of sprinkling shall be unclean until evening.
21 Isto lhes será por estatuto perpétuo; e o que espargir a água da separação lavará as suas vestes; e o que tocar a água da separação será imundo até à tarde,
22 And whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the soul that touches it shall be unclean until evening.
22 E tudo o que tocar o imundo também será imundo; e a pessoa que o tocar será imunda até à tarde.
