1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by the sons of Korah.Lord, you have been favorable to your land.You have restored the fortunes of Jacob.
1 Abençoaste, SENHOR, a tua terra; fizeste voltar o cativeiro de Jacó.
2 You have forgiven the iniquity of your people.You have covered all their sin.Selah.
2 Perdoaste a iniqüidade do teu povo; cobriste todos os seus pecados. (Selá.)
3 You have taken away all your wrath.You have turned from the fierceness of your anger.
3 Fizeste cessar toda a tua indignação; desviaste-te do ardor da tua ira.
4 Turn us, God of our salvation,and cause your indignation toward us to cease.
4 Torna-nos a trazer, ó Deus da nossa salvação, e faze cessar a tua ira de sobre nós.
5 Will you be angry with us forever?Will you draw out your anger to all generations?
5 Acaso estarás sempre irado contra nós? Estenderás a tua ira a todas as gerações?
6 Won't you revive us again,that your people may rejoice in you?
6 Não tornarás a vivificar-nos, para que o teu povo se alegre em ti?
7 Show us your loving kindness, Lord.Grant us your salvation.
7 Mostra-nos, Senhor, a tua misericórdia, e concede-nos a tua salvação.
8 I will hear what God, the Lord, will speak,for he will speak peace to his people, his holy ones;but let them not turn again to folly.
8 Escutarei o que Deus, o Senhor, falar; porque falará de paz ao seu povo, e aos santos, para que não voltem à loucura.
9 Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,that glory may dwell in our land.
9 Certamente que a salvação está perto daqueles que o temem, para que a glória habite na nossa terra.
10 Mercy and truth meet together.Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
10 A misericórdia e a verdade se encontraram; a justiça e a paz se beijaram.
11 Truth springs out of the earth.Righteousness has looked down from heaven.
11 A verdade brotará da terra, e a justiça olhará desde os céus.
12 Yes, the Lord will give that which is good.Our land will yield its increase.
12 Também o Senhor dará o que é bom, e a nossa terra dará o seu fruto.
13 Righteousness goes before him,And prepares the way for his steps.
13 A justiça irá adiante dele, e nos porá no caminho das suas pisadas.
