1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
1 Abençoou Deus a Noé e a seus filhos e lhes disse: Sede fecundos, multiplicai-vos e enchei a terra.
2 And the fear of you, and the dread of you, shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the heaven; whatever is that moveth upon the earth, and all the fishes of the sea, are delivered into your hand.
2 Pavor e medo de vós virão sobre todos os animais da terra e sobre todas as aves dos céus; tudo o que se move sobre a terra e todos os peixes do mar nas vossas mãos serão entregues.
3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be yours for food; even as the green herbs have I given you all things.
3 Tudo o que se move e vive ser-vos-á para alimento; como vos dei a erva verde, tudo vos dou agora.
4 But flesh in which its life is, which is its blood, shall ye not eat.
4 Carne, porém, com sua vida, isto é, com seu sangue, não comereis.
5 Your blood, however, on which your lives depend, will I require: at the hand of every beast will I require it; and at the hand of man, at the hand of every mans brother will I require the life of man.
5 Certamente, requererei o vosso sangue, o sangue da vossa vida; de todo animal o requererei, como também da mão do homem, sim, da mão do próximo de cada um requererei a vida do homem.
6 Whoso sheddeth mans blood, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God made he man.
6 Se alguém derramar o sangue do homem, pelo homem se derramará o seu; porque Deus fez o homem segundo a sua imagem.
7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly on the earth, and multiply thereon.
7 Mas sede fecundos e multiplicai-vos; povoai a terra e multiplicai-vos nela.
8 And God spoke unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,
8 Disse também Deus a Noé e a seus filhos:
9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
9 Eis que estabeleço a minha aliança convosco, e com a vossa descendência,
10 And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you, from all those that go out of the ark, for every beast of the earth.
10 e com todos os seres viventes que estão convosco: tanto as aves, os animais domésticos e os animais selváticos que saíram da arca como todos os animais da terra.
11 And I will establish my covenant with you; and all flesh shall not be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there be any more a flood to destroy the earth.
11 Estabeleço a minha aliança convosco: não será mais destruída toda carne por águas de dilúvio, nem mais haverá dilúvio para destruir a terra.
12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations.
12 Disse Deus: Este é o sinal da minha aliança que faço entre mim e vós e entre todos os seres viventes que estão convosco, para perpétuas gerações:
13 My bow I do set in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of the covenant between me and the earth.
13 porei nas nuvens o meu arco; será por sinal da aliança entre mim e a terra.
14 And it shall come to pass, that, when I bring a cloud over the earth, and the bow shall be seen in the cloud,
14 Sucederá que, quando eu trouxer nuvens sobre a terra, e nelas aparecer o arco,
15 I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
15 então, me lembrarei da minha aliança, firmada entre mim e vós e todos os seres viventes de toda carne; e as águas não mais se tornarão em dilúvio para destruir toda carne.
16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature, of all flesh, that is upon the earth.
16 O arco estará nas nuvens; vê-lo-ei e me lembrarei da aliança eterna entre Deus e todos os seres viventes de toda carne que há sobre a terra.
17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
17 Disse Deus a Noé: Este é o sinal da aliança estabelecida entre mim e toda carne sobre a terra.
18 And the sons of Noah that went forth from the ark, were Shem, Ham and Japheth; and Ham was the father of Canaan.
18 Os filhos de Noé, que saíram da arca, foram Sem, Cam e Jafé; Cam é o pai de Canaã.
19 These three were the sons of Noah, and of them was the whole earth overspread.
19 São eles os três filhos de Noé; e deles se povoou toda a terra.
20 And Noah, who was a husbandman, began his work, and he planted a vineyard.
20 Sendo Noé lavrador, passou a plantar uma vinha.
21 And he drank of the wine, and became drunken; and he uncovered himself within his tent.
21 Bebendo do vinho, embriagou-se e se pôs nu dentro de sua tenda.
22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told it his two brothers without.
22 Cam, pai de Canaã, vendo a nudez do pai, fê-lo saber, fora, a seus dois irmãos.
23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon the shoulders of both of them, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were turned backward, and they saw not their fathers nakedness.
23 Então, Sem e Jafé tomaram uma capa, puseram-na sobre os próprios ombros de ambos e, andando de costas, rostos desviados, cobriram a nudez do pai, sem que a vissem.
24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and discovered what his younger son had done unto him.
24 Despertando Noé do seu vinho, soube o que lhe fizera o filho mais moço
25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
25 e disse: Maldito seja Canaã; seja servo dos servos a seus irmãos.
26 And he said, Blessed be the Lord, the God of Shem; and Canaan shall be a servant unto them.
26 E ajuntou: Bendito seja o e Canaã lhe seja servo.
27 May God enlarge the boundaries of Japheth, and may he dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be a servant unto them.
27 Engrandeça Deus a Jafé, e habite ele nas tendas de Sem; e Canaã lhe seja servo.
28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.
28 Noé, passado o dilúvio, viveu ainda trezentos e cinquenta anos.
29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years; and he died.
29 Todos os dias de Noé foram novecentos e cinquenta anos; e morreu.
