1 The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad.
1 O Senhor reina. Regozije-se a terra, alegrem-se as muitas ilhas.
2 Clouds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.
2 Nuvens e obscuridade estão ao redor dele; justiça e juízo são a base do seu trono.
3 A fire goeth before Him, and burneth up His adversaries round about.
3 Adiante dele vai um fogo que abrasa os seus inimigos em redor.
4 His lightnings lighted up the world; the earth saw, and trembled.
4 Os seus relâmpagos alumiam o mundo; a terra viu e tremeu.
5 The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
5 Os montes se derretem como cera na presença do Senhor , na presença do Senhor de toda a terra.
6 The heavens declared His righteousness, and all the peoples saw His glory.
6 Os céus anunciam a sua justiça, e todos os povos veem a sua glória.
7 Ashamed be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of things of nought; bow down to Him, all ye gods.
7 Confundidos sejam todos os que servem a imagens de escultura, que se gloriam de ídolos inúteis; prostrai-vos diante dele todos os deuses.
8 Zion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced; because of Thy judgments, O LORD.
8 Sião ouviu e se alegrou; e os filhos de Judá se alegraram por causa da tua justiça, ó Senhor .
9 For Thou, LORD, art most high above all the earth; Thou art exalted far above all gods.
9 Pois tu, Senhor , és o Altíssimo em toda a terra; muito mais elevado que todos os deuses.
10 O ye that love the LORD, hate evil; He preserveth the souls of His saints; He delivered them out of the hand of the wicked.
10 Vós que amais ao Senhor , aborrecei o mal; ele guarda a alma dos seus santos, ele os livra das mãos dos ímpios.
11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
11 A luz semeia-se para o justo, e a alegria, para os retos de coração.
12 Be glad in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks to His holy name.
12 Alegrai-vos, ó justos, no Senhor , e dai louvores em memória da sua santidade.
