¹ LORD, Thou hast been favourable unto Thy land, Thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob.

¹ Mostraste favor, Senhor, à tua terra; fizeste regressar os cativos de Jacó.

² Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of Thy people, Thou hast pardoned all their sin. Selah

² Perdoaste a iniqüidade do teu povo; cobriste todos os seus pecados.

³ Thou hast withdrawn all Thy wrath; Thou hast turned from the fierceness of Thine anger.

³ Retraíste toda a tua cólera; refreaste o ardor da tua ira.

⁴ Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cause Thine indignation toward us to cease.

⁴ Restabelece-nos, ó Deus da nossa salvação, e faze cessar a tua indignação contra nós.

⁵ Wilt Thou be angry with us for ever? Wilt Thou draw out Thine anger to all generations?

⁵ Estarás para sempre irado contra nós? estenderás a tua ira a todas as gerações?

⁶ Wilt Thou not quicken us again, that Thy people may rejoice in Thee?

⁶ Não tornarás a vivificar-nos, para que o teu povo se regozije em ti?

⁷ Show us Thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us Thy salvation.

⁷ Mostra-nos, Senhor, a tua benignidade, e concede-nos a tua salvação.

⁸ I will hear what God the LORD will speak; for He will speak peace unto His people, and to His saints; but let them not turn back to folly.

⁸ Escutarei o que Deus, o Senhor, disser; porque falará de paz ao seu povo, e aos seus santos, contanto que não voltem à insensatez.

⁹ Surely His salvation is nigh them that fear Him; that glory may dwell in our land.

⁹ Certamente que a sua salvação está perto daqueles que o temem, para que a glória habite em nossa terra.

¹⁰ Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

¹⁰ A benignidade e a fidelidade se encontraram; a justiça e a paz se beijaram.

¹¹ Truth springeth out of the earth; and righteousness hath looked down from heaven.

¹¹ A fidelidade brota da terra, e a justiça olha desde o céu.

¹² Yea, the LORD will give that which is good; and our land shall yield her produce.

¹² O Senhor dará o que é bom, e a nossa terra produzirá o seu fruto.

¹³ Righteousness shall go before Him, and shall make His footsteps a way.

¹³ A justiça irá adiante dele, marcando o caminho com as suas pegadas.
