1 AND he arose from thence, and came to the borders of Jehud on the other side of the Jurdan: and great multitudes went thither to him; and he taught them again as he was accustomed.
1 E, levantando-se dali, foi para os termos da Judéia, além do Jordão, e a multidão se reuniu em torno dele; e tornou a ensiná-los, como tinha por costume.
2 And the Pharishee drew nigh, tempting him, and demanding whether it were lawful for a man to dismiss his wife.
2 E, aproximando-se dele os fariseus, perguntaram-lhe, tentando-o: É lícito ao homem repudiar sua mulher?
3 He saith to them, What hath Musha prescribed?
3 Mas ele, respondendo, disse-lhes: Que vos mandou Moisés?
4 But they say, Musha permitted us to write a writing of dismissal, and to send away.
4 E eles disseram: Moisés permitiu escrever carta de divórcio e repudiar.
5 Jeshu answered and said to them, On account of the hardness of your heart he wrote for you this commandment.
5 E Jesus, respondendo, disse-lhes: Pela dureza dos vossos corações vos deixou ele escrito esse mandamento;
6 But from the beginning the male and the female Aloha made them.
6 Porém, desde o princípio da criação, Deus os fez macho e fêmea.
7 For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother,
7 Por isso deixará o homem a seu pai e a sua mãe, e unir-se-á a sua mulher,
8 and shall cleave unto his wife; and they two shall be one flesh: henceforth they are not two, but one flesh.
8 E serão os dois uma só carne; e assim já não serão dois, mas uma só carne.
9 What Aloha therefore hath conjoined, man may not separate.
9 Portanto, o que Deus ajuntou não o separe o homem.
10 And his disciples asked him again in the house concerning this (matter).
10 E em casa tornaram os discípulos a interrogá-lo acerca disto mesmo.
11 And he said to them, Every one who shall send away his wife, and take another, adulterizeth.
11 E ele lhes disse: Qualquer que deixar a sua mulher e casar com outra, adultera contra ela.
12 And if the wife shall leave her husband, and shall become another's, she adulterizeth.
12 E, se a mulher deixar a seu marido, e casar com outro, adultera.
13 And they presented unto him children, that he should touch them: but his disciples rebuked those who presented them.
13 E traziam-lhe meninos para que lhes tocasse, mas os discípulos repreendiam aos que lhos traziam.
14 But Jeshu, when he saw, was displeased, and said to them, Permit the children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of those who are as these is the kingdom of Aloha.
14 Jesus, porém, vendo isto, indignou-se, e disse-lhes: Deixai vir os meninos a mim, e não os impeçais; porque dos tais é o reino de Deus.
15 Amen I say to you, That whoever shall not receive the kingdom of Aloha as a child, shall not enter into it.
15 Em verdade vos digo que qualquer que não receber o reino de Deus como menino, de maneira nenhuma entrará nele.
16 And he took them on his arms, and laid his hand upon them, and blessed them.
16 E, tomando-os nos seus braços, e impondo-lhes as mãos, os abençoou.
17 AND as he journeyed in the way, one ran, fell upon his knees, and asked him, saying, Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
17 E, pondo-se a caminho, correu para ele um homem, o qual se ajoelhou diante dele, e lhe perguntou: Bom Mestre, que farei para herdar a vida eterna?
18 Jeshu said to him, Why callest thou me good? none is good but one, Aloha.
18 E Jesus lhe disse: Por que me chamas bom? Ninguém há bom senão um, que é Deus.
19 Thou knowest the commandments, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not witness false testimony, Thou shalt not injure, Honour thy father and thy mother.
19 Tu sabes os mandamentos: Não adulterarás; não matarás; não furtarás; não dirás falso testemunho; não defraudarás alguém; honra a teu pai e a tua mãe.
20 But he answered and said to him, Malphona, these all have I kept from my childhood.
20 Ele, porém, respondendo, lhe disse: Mestre, tudo isso guardei desde a minha mocidade.
21 And Jeshu beheld him and loved him, and said to him, One thing is wanting to thee: go, sell all whatever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have a treasure in heaven: and take up thy cross and come after me.
21 E Jesus, olhando para ele, o amou e lhe disse: Falta-te uma coisa: vai, vende tudo quanto tens, e dá-o aos pobres, e terás um tesouro no céu; e vem, toma a cruz, e segue-me.
22 But he was grieved at that word, and went away sorrowful: for he had great riches.
22 Mas ele, pesaroso desta palavra, retirou-se triste; porque possuía muitas propriedades.
23 And Jeshu beheld his disciples, and said to them, How hard to those who have riches to enter the kingdom of Aloha!
23 Então Jesus, olhando em redor, disse aos seus discípulos: Quão dificilmente entrarão no reino de Deus os que têm riquezas!
24 But his disciples were astonished at his words. And Jeshu answered again, and said to them, My sons, how hard (is it) for those who trust on their riches to enter into the kingdom of Aloha!
24 E os discípulos se admiraram destas suas palavras; mas Jesus, tornando a falar, disse-lhes: Filhos, quão difícil é, para os que confiam nas riquezas, entrar no reino de Deus!
25 It is easier for a camel to go through the hole of a needle, than for a rich to enter into the kingdom of Aloha.
25 É mais fácil passar um camelo pelo fundo de uma agulha, do que entrar um rico no reino de Deus.
26 And they were the more astonished, and said among themselves, Who can be saved?
26 E eles se admiravam ainda mais, dizendo entre si: Quem poderá, pois, salvar-se?
27 Jeshu beheld them and said to them, With the sons of men this is not possible, but with Aloha: for every thing is possible with Aloha.
27 Jesus, porém, olhando para eles, disse: Para os homens é impossível, mas não para Deus, porque para Deus todas as coisas são possíveis.
28 THEN began Kipha to say, Behold, we have forsaken every thing, and have cleaved to thee.
28 E Pedro começou a dizer-lhe: Eis que nós tudo deixamos, e te seguimos.
29 Jeshu responded and said, Amen I say to you, There is no man who forsaketh houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or fields, on account of me, and on account of my gospel,
29 E Jesus, respondendo, disse: Em verdade vos digo que ninguém há, que tenha deixado casa, ou irmãos, ou irmãs, ou pai, ou mãe, ou mulher, ou filhos, ou campos, por amor de mim e do evangelho,
30 who shall not receive a hundred-fold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and fields, with persecution; and in the world which cometh the life that is eternal.
30 Que não receba cem vezes tanto, já neste tempo, em casas, e irmãos, e irmãs, e mães, e filhos, e campos, com perseguições; e no século futuro a vida eterna.
31 But many (are) first who will be last, and last (who will be) first.
31 Porém muitos primeiros serão derradeiros, e muitos derradeiros serão primeiros.
32 Now when they were going up in the way to Urishlem, Jeshu himself preceded them; and they were amazed, and came after him, fearing. And he took his twelve, and began to tell them what it was which was to happen to him.
32 E iam no caminho, subindo para Jerusalém; e Jesus ia adiante deles. E eles maravilhavam-se, e seguiam-no atemorizados. E, tornando a tomar consigo os doze, começou a dizer-lhes as coisas que lhe deviam sobrevir,
33 Behold, we go up to Urishlem; and the Son of man (will be) betrayed to the chief priests, and to the Sophree; and they shall condemn him to the death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles;
33 Dizendo: Eis que nós subimos a Jerusalém, e o Filho do homem será entregue aos príncipes dos sacerdotes, e aos escribas, e o condenarão à morte, e o entregarão aos gentios.
34 and shall mock him, and scourge him, and spit in his face, and kill him: and the third day he shall arise.
34 E o escarnecerão, e açoitarão, e cuspirão nele, e o matarão; e, ao terceiro dia, ressuscitará.
35 AND Jacub and Juchanon, sons of Zabdai, approached him, saying to him, Malphona, we would that whatever we ask thou wilt do for us.
35 E aproximaram-se dele Tiago e João, filhos de Zebedeu, dizendo: Mestre, queremos que nos faças o que te pedirmos.
36 He saith to them, What will you that I should do for you?
36 E ele lhes disse: Que quereis que vos faça?
37 They say to him, Give us that one may sit at thy right hand, and one at thy left, in thy glory.
37 E eles lhe disseram: Concede-nos que na tua glória nos assentemos, um à tua direita, e outro à tua esquerda.
38 But he said to them, You know not what you ask: can you drink the cup that I drink? and (with) the baptism that I am baptized (with) can you be baptized?
38 Mas Jesus lhes disse: Não sabeis o que pedis; podeis vós beber o cálice que eu bebo, e ser batizados com o batismo com que eu sou batizado?
39 They say to him, We can. Jeshu saith to them, The cup that I drink you shall drink; and (with) the baptism that I am baptized (with) you shall be baptized:
39 E eles lhe disseram: Podemos. Jesus, porém, disse-lhes: Em verdade, vós bebereis o cálice que eu beber, e sereis batizados com o batismo com que eu sou batizado;
40 but that you sit on my right hand and on my left, is not mine to give, except for those for whom it is prepared.
40 Mas, o assentar-se à minha direita, ou à minha esquerda, não me pertence a mim concedê-lo, mas isso é para aqueles a quem está reservado.
41 And when the ten heard, they began to murmur against Jacub and Juchanon.
41 E os dez, tendo ouvido isto, começaram a indignar-se contra Tiago e João.
42 And Jeshu called them and said to them, You know that they who are considered the princes of the Gentiles are lords of them; and their great ones exercise power over them:
42 Mas Jesus, chamando-os a si, disse-lhes: Sabeis que os que julgam ser príncipes dos gentios, deles se assenhoreiam, e os seus grandes usam de autoridade sobre eles;
43 but not thus shall it be among you. But if any one among you willeth to be great, let him be to you the servant;
43 Mas entre vós não será assim; antes, qualquer que entre vós quiser ser grande, será vosso serviçal;
44 and whoever of you willeth to be the first, he shall be the labourer for all.
44 E qualquer que dentre vós quiser ser o primeiro, será servo de todos.
45 For even the Son of man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life the ransom for many.
45 Porque o Filho do homem também não veio para ser servido, mas para servir e dar a sua vida em resgate de muitos.
46 And they came unto Jirichu. And as Jeshu went forth from Jirichu, he and his disciples and a great multitude, Timai bar Timai, the blind man, was sitting by the side of the way begging.
46 E depois, foram para Jericó. E, saindo ele de Jericó com seus discípulos e uma grande multidão, Bartimeu, o cego, filho de Timeu, estava assentado junto do caminho, mendigando.
47 And he heard that it was Jeshu Natsroia; and he began to cry out, and to say, Son of David, have mercy on me!
47 E, ouvindo que era Jesus de Nazaré, começou a clamar, e a dizer: Jesus, filho de Davi, tem misericórdia de mim.
48 And many rebuked him, that he should be silent: but he cried out the more, saying, Son of David, have mercy on me!
48 E muitos o repreendiam, para que se calasse; mas ele clamava cada vez mais: Filho de Davi! tem misericórdia de mim.
49 And Jeshu stood, and commanded that they should bring him. And they called the blind man, saying to him, Be of heart, rise, he calleth thee.
49 E Jesus, parando, disse que o chamassem; e chamaram o cego, dizendo-lhe: Tem bom ânimo; levanta-te, que ele te chama.
50 But he, the blind, loosed his garment, and rose up, (and) came to Jeshu.
50 E ele, lançando de si a sua capa, levantou-se, e foi ter com Jesus.
51 Saith to him Jeshu, What wilt thou that I do for thee? And he, the blind, said to him, Rabi, that I may see.
51 E Jesus, falando, disse-lhe: Que queres que te faça? E o cego lhe disse: Mestre, que eu tenha vista.
52 And Jeshu said to him, SEE: thy faith hath saved thee. And instantly he saw, and he went in the way.
52 E Jesus lhe disse: Vai, a tua fé te salvou. E logo viu, e seguiu a Jesus pelo caminho.
