1 Be therefore imitators of Aloha, as beloved children;
1 Sede, pois, imitadores de Deus, como filhos amados;
2 and walk in love, as the Meshiha also loved us, and delivered himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to Aloha of a fragrant smell.
2 E andai em amor, como também Cristo vos amou, e se entregou a si mesmo por nós, em oferta e sacrifício a Deus, em cheiro suave.
3 BUT fornication and all uncleanness and covetousness, let them not be even heard among you, as it becometh the saints;
3 Mas a fornicação, e toda a impureza ou avareza, nem ainda se nomeie entre vós, como convém a santos;
4 neither filthiness, nor words of folly, or of jeering, or fables, which are not necessary, but, instead of these, thanksgiving.
4 Nem torpezas, nem parvoíces, nem chocarrices, que não convêm; mas antes, ações de graças.
5 But this know, that any man who is a fornicator, or impure, or covetous, or an idolater, hath no inheritance in the kingdom of the Meshiha and of Aloha;
5 Porque bem sabeis isto: que nenhum devasso, ou impuro, ou avarento, o qual é idólatra, tem herança no reino de Cristo e de Deus.
6 lest any man deceive you with vain words; for because of these cometh the anger of Aloha upon the sons of disobedience.
6 Ninguém vos engane com palavras vãs; porque por estas coisas vem a ira de Deus sobre os filhos da desobediência.
7 Be not, therefore, participators with them.
7 Portanto, não sejais seus companheiros.
8 For you were before darkness, but now you are light in our Lord. As the sons of light, then, so walk.
8 Porque noutro tempo éreis trevas, mas agora sois luz no Senhor; andai como filhos da luz
9 For the fruits of the light are in all goodness and rectitude and truth.
9 (Porque o fruto do Espírito está em toda a bondade, e justiça e verdade);
10 And be discerning of that which is good before our Lord.
10 Aprovando o que é agradável ao Senhor.
11 And have no communion with the works of darkness, which have no fruits, but reprove them.
11 E não comuniqueis com as obras infrutuosas das trevas, mas antes condenai-as.
12 For that which in secrecy they do it is execrable even to mention.
12 Porque o que eles fazem em oculto até dizê-lo é torpe.
13 For every thing is exposed by the light, and is revealed, and whatever revealeth is light.
13 Mas todas estas coisas se manifestam, sendo condenadas pela luz, porque a luz tudo manifesta.
14 Wherefore it is said, Awake thou who sleepest, And arise from the dead, And the Meshiha shall enlighten thee.
14 Por isso diz: Desperta, tu que dormes, e levanta-te dentre os mortos, e Cristo te esclarecerá.
15 See then that you walk vigilantly, not as fools,
15 Portanto, vede prudentemente como andais, não como néscios, mas como sábios,
16 but as the wise who redeem their opportunity, because the days are evil.
16 Remindo o tempo; porquanto os dias são maus.
17 On account of this, be not wanting in mind, but understand what is the will of Aloha.
17 Por isso não sejais insensatos, mas entendei qual seja a vontade do Senhor.
18 And be not drunk with wine, in which is intemperance, but be filled with the Spirit.
18 E não vos embriagueis com vinho, em que há contenda, mas enchei-vos do Espírito;
19 And discourse with yourselves with psalms and with hymns and with songs of the Spirit, singing with your hearts unto the Lord.
19 Falando entre vós em salmos, e hinos, e cânticos espirituais; cantando e salmodiando ao Senhor no vosso coração;
20 And give thanks always on behalf of every man in the name of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha unto Aloha the Father.
20 Dando sempre graças por tudo a nosso Deus e Pai, em nome de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo;
21 And be subject one to another in the love of the Meshiha.
21 Sujeitando-vos uns aos outros no temor de Deus.
22 WIVES, be subject to your husbands as to our Lord.
22 Vós, mulheres, sujeitai-vos a vossos maridos, como ao Senhor;
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as the Meshiha is the head of the church, and he himself is the Saviour of the body.
23 Porque o marido é a cabeça da mulher, como também Cristo é a cabeça da igreja, sendo ele próprio o salvador do corpo.
24 But as the church is subject to Meshiha, so also (should) wives be unto their husbands in every thing.
24 De sorte que, assim como a igreja está sujeita a Cristo, assim também as mulheres sejam em tudo sujeitas a seus maridos.
25 Husbands, love your wives, as also the Meshiha loved his church, and gave himself for her,
25 Vós, maridos, amai vossas mulheres, como também Cristo amou a igreja, e a si mesmo se entregou por ela,
26 that he might sanctify her and purify her in the laver of waters and by the word,
26 Para a santificar, purificando-a com a lavagem da água, pela palavra,
27 and that he might constitute her a church unto himself, being glorified, and not having blemish or wrinkle or any thing like these; but to be holy and spotless.
27 Para a apresentar a si mesmo igreja gloriosa, sem mácula, nem ruga, nem coisa semelhante, mas santa e irrepreensível.
28 So it becometh husbands to love their wives, as their own bodies. For he who his wife loveth, himself he loveth.
28 Assim devem os maridos amar as suas próprias mulheres, como a seus próprios corpos. Quem ama a sua mulher, ama-se a si mesmo.
29 For no man ever hated his own body, but nourisheth it, and taketh care of it; so also the Meshiha (taketh care) of the church.
29 Porque nunca ninguém odiou a sua própria carne; antes a alimenta e sustenta, como também o Senhor à igreja;
30 For we are members of his body, and of his flesh are we, and of his bones.
30 Porque somos membros do seu corpo, da sua carne, e dos seus ossos.
31 Because of this a man leaveth his father and his mother, and cleaveth unto his wife, and they two become one flesh.
31 Por isso deixará o homem seu pai e sua mãe, e se unirá a sua mulher; e serão dois numa carne.
32 This mystery is great; but I speak of the Meshiha and of his church.
32 Grande é este mistério; digo-o, porém, a respeito de Cristo e da igreja.
33 Nevertheless let every one of you so love his wife as his own self; but let the wife reverence her husband.
33 Assim também vós, cada um em particular, ame a sua própria mulher como a si mesmo, e a mulher reverencie o marido.
