1 You also who were dead in your sins and in your transgressions,
1 E vos vivificou, estando vós mortos em ofensas e pecados,
2 in which from the first you walked according to the worldliness of this age, and according to the will of the prince of the power of the air, of that Spirit who urgeth in the sons of disobedience;
2 Em que noutro tempo andastes segundo o curso deste mundo, segundo o príncipe das potestades do ar, do espírito que agora opera nos filhos da desobediência;
3 in those works in which we also walked from the first in the lusts of our flesh, doing the will of our flesh and of our mind, and were the sons of wrath fully as the rest.
3 Entre os quais todos nós também antes andávamos nos desejos da nossa carne, fazendo a vontade da carne e dos pensamentos; e éramos por natureza filhos da ira, como os outros também.
4 BUT Aloha, who is rich in his mercies, for his great love wherewith he loved us
4 Mas Deus, que é riquíssimo em misericórdia, pelo seu muito amor com que nos amou,
5 while we were dead in our sins, made us alive with the Meshiha, and through his grace delivered us,
5 Estando nós ainda mortos em nossas ofensas, nos vivificou juntamente com Cristo (pela graça sois salvos),
6 and raised us with him, and made us to sit with him in heaven in Jeshu the Meshiha,
6 E nos ressuscitou juntamente com ele e nos fez assentar nos lugares celestiais, em Cristo Jesus;
7 that he might show to the ages to come the greatness of the riches of his grace and his goodness, which hath been upon us in Jeshu the Meshiha.
7 Para mostrar nos séculos vindouros as abundantes riquezas da sua graça pela sua benignidade para conosco em Cristo Jesus.
8 For by his grace are we saved through faith, and this was not of you, but is the gift of Aloha,
8 Porque pela graça sois salvos, por meio da fé; e isto não vem de vós, é dom de Deus.
9 not of works, that no man should glory.
9 Não vem das obras, para que ninguém se glorie;
10 For we are his creation, who are created in Jeshu Meshiha unto good works, which Aloha hath prepared before, that in them we should walk.
10 Porque somos feitura sua, criados em Cristo Jesus para as boas obras, as quais Deus preparou para que andássemos nelas.
11 Wherefore be mindful, that you Gentiles at first were carnal, and were called the Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision, and is the work of the hands in the flesh;
11 Portanto, lembrai-vos de que vós noutro tempo éreis gentios na carne, e chamados incircuncisão pelos que na carne se chamam circuncisão feita pela mão dos homens;
12 and were at that time without the Meshiha, and were aliens from the polity of Israel, and strangers to the covenant of the promise, and, without hope, were without Aloha in the world.
12 Que naquele tempo estáveis sem Cristo, separados da comunidade de Israel, e estranhos às alianças da promessa, não tendo esperança, e sem Deus no mundo.
13 But now, by Jeshu the Meshiha, you who before were far off, are brought nigh by the blood of the Meshiha.
13 Mas agora em Cristo Jesus, vós, que antes estáveis longe, já pelo sangue de Cristo chegastes perto.
14 For he is our peace, he who hath made the two one, and hath destroyed the wall which stood in the midst,
14 Porque ele é a nossa paz, o qual de ambos os povos fez um; e, derrubando a parede de separação que estava no meio,
15 and the enmity, through his flesh; and the law of prescriptions, with its requirements, he hath abolished, that of the two he might create in himself one new man, and make peace;
15 Na sua carne desfez a inimizade, isto é, a lei dos mandamentos, que consistia em ordenanças, para criar em si mesmo dos dois um novo homem, fazendo a paz,
16 and hath reconciled the two in one body with Aloha, and by his cross hath slain the enmity.
16 E pela cruz reconciliar ambos com Deus em um corpo, matando com ela as inimizades.
17 And coming, he preached peace to you, to the far off, and to the nigh; therefore,
17 E, vindo, ele evangelizou a paz, a vós que estáveis longe, e aos que estavam perto;
18 through Him there hath been made for us both an access by one Spirit unto the Father.
18 Porque por ele ambos temos acesso ao Pai em um mesmo Espírito.
19 THEREFORE are you no more strangers and sojourners but sons of the city of the saints, and sons of the house of Aloha;
19 Assim que já não sois estrangeiros, nem forasteiros, mas concidadãos dos santos, e da família de Deus;
20 and you are builded upon the foundation of the apostles and of the prophets, and Jeshu the Meshiha himself is the chief corner of the building;
20 Edificados sobre o fundamento dos apóstolos e dos profetas, de que Jesus Cristo é a principal pedra da esquina;
21 and in him is the whole building increased and enlargeth into a holy temple in the Lord,
21 No qual todo o edifício, bem ajustado, cresce para templo santo no Senhor.
22 while you also in him are being builded the dwelling of Aloha by the Spirit.
22 No qual também vós juntamente sois edificados para morada de Deus em Espírito.
