1 Masters, do equity and justice to your servants, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
1 Vós, senhores, fazei o que for de justiça e equidade a vossos servos, sabendo que também tendes um Senhor nos céus.
2 In prayer be constant, and be watchful in it, and (in) giving thanks;
2 Perseverai em oração, velando nela com ação de graças;
3 praying also for us, that Aloha may open to us the gate of the word, to speak the mystery of the Meshiha, for the sake of which I am bound,
3 orando também juntamente por nós, para que Deus nos abra a porta da palavra, a fim de falarmos do mistério de Cristo, pelo qual estou também preso;
4 that I may fully make it manifest, as it behoveth me.
4 para que o manifeste, como me convém falar.
5 In wisdom walk towards the outward ones, and redeem your opportunity.
5 Andai com sabedoria para com os que estão de fora, remindo o tempo.
6 And let your speech at all time be with grace as sprinkled with salt, each one knowing how it becometh him to return the answer.
6 A vossa palavra seja sempre agradável, temperada com sal, para que saibais como vos convém responder a cada um.
7 What concerneth me will Tykikos, a beloved brother and faithful minister, and our companion in the Lord, make known to you:
7 Tíquico, irmão amado, e fiel ministro, e conservo no Senhor, vos fará saber o meu estado;
8 whom I have sent to you for this, that he may know how it is with you, and may comfort your hearts;
8 o qual vos enviei para o mesmo fim, para que saiba do vosso estado e console o vosso coração,
9 with Onesimos, the faithful and beloved brother who is of you. These will make you know what concerneth us.
9 juntamente com Onésimo, amado e fiel irmão, que é dos vossos; eles vos farão saber tudo o que por aqui se passa.
10 Aristarchos, a captive with me, asketh for your peace, and Markos, the nephew of Bar Naba, regarding whom you are directed, that if he come to you, receive him,
10 Aristarco, que está preso comigo, vos saúda, e Marcos, o sobrinho de Barnabé, acerca do qual já recebestes mandamentos; se ele for ter convosco, recebei-o;
11 and Jeshu who is called Justos: these are of the circumcision, and these only have helped me in the kingdom of Aloha, and these have been a consolation to me.
11 e Jesus, chamado Justo, os quais são da circuncisão; são estes unicamente os meus cooperadores no Reino de Deus e para mim têm sido consolação.
12 Epaphra, who is of you, asketh for your peace; a servant of the Meshiha, who is always labouring on your behalf in prayer, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of Aloha.
12 Saúda-vos Epafras, que é dos vossos, servo de Cristo, combatendo sempre por vós em orações, para que vos conserveis firmes, perfeitos e consumados em toda a vontade de Deus.
13 For I testify of him that he hath a great zeal for you and for those in Laodikia and in Iropolis.
13 Pois eu lhe dou testemunho de que tem grande zelo por vós, e pelos que estão em Laodiceia, e pelos que estão em Hierápolis.
14 Lukos our beloved physician, and Dima, ask for your peace.
14 Saúda-vos Lucas, o médico amado, e Demas.
15 Ask the peace of the brethren who are in Laodikia, and of Nymfa, and of the church which is in his house.
15 Saudai aos irmãos que estão em Laodiceia, e a Ninfa, e à igreja que está em sua casa.
16 And when this epistle shall have been read to you, cause it also to be read in the church of the Laodikoyee; and that which is written from the Laodikoyee, read you it.
16 E, quando esta epístola tiver sido lida entre vós, fazei que também o seja na igreja dos laodicenses; e a que veio de Laodiceia, lede-a vós também.
17 And say to Arkipos, Be vigilant in the ministry which thou hast received in our Lord, that thou fulfil it.
17 E dizei a Arquipo: Atenta para o ministério que recebeste no Senhor, para que o cumpras.
18 This salutation with the hand of me, PAULOS. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.
18 Saudação de minha mão, de Paulo. Lembrai-vos das minhas prisões. A graça seja convosco. Amém!
