1 IF, then, you have risen with the Meshiha, seek (the realities) which are on high, where the Meshiha sitteth at the right hand of Aloha.
1 Portanto, se já ressuscitastes com Cristo, buscai as coisas que são de cima, onde Cristo está assentado à destra de Deus.
2 Think of that which is on high, and not of that on earth.
2 Pensai nas coisas que são de cima, e não nas que são da terra;
3 For you are dead, and your life is hid with the Meshiha in Aloha;
3 Porque já estais mortos, e a vossa vida está escondida com Cristo em Deus.
4 and when the Meshiha, who is our life, shall be manifested, then also will you be manifested with him in glory.
4 Quando Cristo, que é a nossa vida, se manifestar, então também vós vos manifestareis com ele em glória.
5 Put to death, then, your members that are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, and passions, and evil desires, and covetousness, which itself is idolatry.
5 Mortificai, pois, os vossos membros, que estão sobre a terra: a fornicação, a impureza, o afeição desordenada, a vil concupiscência, e a avareza, que é idolatria;
6 For on account of these cometh the anger of Aloha upon the sons of disobedience.
6 Pelas quais coisas vem a ira de Deus sobre os filhos da desobediência;
7 In these also you walked aforetime, when you were conversant in them.
7 Nas quais, também, em outro tempo andastes, quando vivíeis nelas.
8 But now cease you from all these; anger, wrath, malice, reviling, impure speech:
8 Mas agora, despojai-vos também de tudo: da ira, da cólera, da malícia, da maledicência, das palavras torpes da vossa boca.
9 and lie not one to another, but put off the old man with all his manners,
9 Não mintais uns aos outros, pois que já vos despistes do velho homem com os seus feitos,
10 and wear the new, who is renovated by knowledge in the image of his Creator,
10 E vos vestistes do novo, que se renova para o conhecimento, segundo a imagem daquele que o criou;
11 where there is not Jihudoya and Aramoya, nor circumcision and uncircumcision, nor Javanoya and Barbaroya, nor slave and freeman, but the Meshiha is all and in all.
11 Onde não há grego, nem judeu, circuncisão, nem incircuncisão, bárbaro, cita, servo ou livre; mas Cristo é tudo, e em todos.
12 Wear, therefore, as the chosen of Aloha, saints and beloved, compassions and tenderness, and benignity, and lowliness of mind, and composure, and patience.
12 Revesti-vos, pois, como eleitos de Deus, santos e amados, de entranhas de misericórdia, de benignidade, humildade, mansidão, longanimidade;
13 And bear with one another, and forgive one another, if any man have a complaint against his neighbour; even as the Meshiha hath forgiven you, so also forgive;
13 Suportando-vos uns aos outros, e perdoando-vos uns aos outros, se alguém tiver queixa contra outro; assim como Cristo vos perdoou, assim fazei vós também.
14 and with all these charity, which is the girdle of perfection.
14 E, sobre tudo isto, revesti-vos de amor, que é o vínculo da perfeição.
15 And let the peace of the Meshiha direct your hearts, for to it you have been called in one body; and give thanks to the Meshiha,
15 E a paz de Deus, para a qual também fostes chamados em um corpo, domine em vossos corações; e sede agradecidos.
16 whose word shall dwell in you abundantly, in all wisdom. And teach and admonish yourselves in psalms and in hymns and in songs of the Spirit, and with grace sing with your hearts unto Aloha.
16 A palavra de Cristo habite em vós abundantemente, em toda a sabedoria, ensinando-vos e admoestando-vos uns aos outros, com salmos, hinos e cânticos espirituais, cantando ao Senhor com graça em vosso coração.
17 And whatsoever you do, either in word or work, do (it) in the name of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, and with thanksgiving through him unto Aloha the Father.
17 E, quanto fizerdes por palavras ou por obras, fazei tudo em nome do Senhor Jesus, dando por ele graças a Deus Pai.
18 WIVES, be subject to your husbands, as it is right in the Meshiha.
18 Vós, mulheres, estai sujeitas a vossos próprios maridos, como convém no Senhor.
19 Men, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
19 Vós, maridos, amai a vossas mulheres, e não vos irriteis contra elas.
20 Children, obey your parents in every thing, for so it is pleasing before our Lord.
20 Vós, filhos, obedecei em tudo a vossos pais, porque isto é agradável ao Senhor.
21 Fathers, exasperate not your children, that they be not discouraged.
21 Vós, pais, não irriteis a vossos filhos, para que não percam o ânimo.
22 Servants, obey in every thing your masters according to the flesh, not in the sight of the eye (only), as those who please men, but from a simple heart, and in the fear of the Lord.
22 Vós, servos, obedecei em tudo a vossos senhores segundo a carne, não servindo só na aparência, como para agradar aos homens, mas em simplicidade de coração, temendo a Deus.
23 And all that you do, from all your heart do (it), as to our Lord, and not as to men.
23 E tudo quanto fizerdes, fazei-o de todo o coração, como ao Senhor, e não aos homens,
24 And know that from our Lord you receive the reward in the inheritance; for the Lord the Meshiha you serve.
24 Sabendo que recebereis do Senhor o galardão da herança, porque a Cristo, o Senhor, servis.
25 But he who injureth is recompensed as he had injured, and there is no acceptance of persons.
25 Mas quem fizer agravo receberá o agravo que fizer; pois não há acepção de pessoas.
