1 BUT there were false prophets in the world, as also among you there will be false teachers, they who introduce heresies of destruction, and, the Lord who bought them denying, bring upon themselves swift destruction.
1 E também houve entre o povo falsos profetas, como entre vós haverá também falsos doutores, que introduzirão encobertamente heresias de perdição, e negarão o Senhor que os resgatou, trazendo sobre si mesmos repentina perdição.
2 And many will go after their wickedness; they, on account of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.
2 E muitos seguirão as suas dissoluções, pelos quais será blasfemado o caminho da verdade.
3 And with fraudulency of deceptive words will they make merchandise of you; they, whose judgment (denounced) before tarrieth not, and whose destruction doth not sleep.
3 E por avareza farão de vós negócio com palavras fingidas; sobre os quais já de largo tempo não será tardia a sentença, e a sua perdição não dormita.
4 For if Aloha upon the angels who sinned was not lenient, but in chains of darkness shut them in the deeps, and delivered them to be kept to the judgment of pain;
4 Porque, se Deus não perdoou aos anjos que pecaram, mas, havendo-os lançado no inferno, os entregou às cadeias da escuridão, ficando reservados para o juízo;
5 and on the former world was not lenient, but Nuch, who was the eighth preacher of righteousness, he preserved, when the deluge came upon the world of the wicked;
5 E não perdoou ao mundo antigo, mas guardou a Noé, a oitava pessoa, o pregoeiro da justiça, ao trazer o dilúvio sobre o mundo dos ímpios;
6 the cities of Sadum and of Omuro he burned, and with overthrow condemned them, while an example to the wicked who should be he set them;
6 E condenou à destruição as cidades de Sodoma e Gomorra, reduzindo-as a cinza, e pondo-as para exemplo aos que vivessem impiamente;
7 also Lut the righteous, who was bruised with the impure conversation of the lawless, he delivered;
7 E livrou o justo Ló, enfadado da vida dissoluta dos homens abomináveis
8 -for in sight and in hearing, while (that) just (man) dwelt among them, from day to day, his righteous soul by their lawless works was tortured;-
8 (Porque este justo, habitando entre eles, afligia todos os dias a sua alma justa, por isso via e ouvia sobre as suas obras injustas);
9 the Lord knoweth how to deliver from affliction them who fear him, but the evil unto the day of judgment to be tormented will he reserve.
9 Assim, sabe o Senhor livrar da tentação os piedosos, e reservar os injustos para o dia do juízo, para serem castigados;
10 But most those who after the flesh follow the concupiscence of impurity, and of authority are contemptuous; daring and arrogant, (and) who by greatness are not moved while they blaspheme:
10 Mas principalmente aqueles que segundo a carne andam em concupiscências de imundícia, e desprezam as autoridades; atrevidos, obstinados, não receando blasfemar das dignidades;
11 whereas angels, who in power and strength are (so much) greater than they, bring not against them a judgment of blasphemy.
11 Enquanto os anjos, sendo maiores em força e poder, não pronunciam contra eles juízo blasfemo diante do Senhor.
12 But these, as the dumb animals, by nature (ordained) to the knife and to destruction, blaspheming what they know not, in their own destruction will be destroyed;
12 Mas estes, como animais irracionais, que seguem a natureza, feitos para serem presos e mortos, blasfemando do que não entendem, perecerão na sua corrupção,
13 while they in whom is iniquity the wages of iniquity shall receive. They repute as pleasure the luxury which is in the day. Blemishes (are they), full of spots, who delighting in their refreshments are luxurious:
13 Recebendo o galardão da injustiça; pois que tais homens têm prazer nos deleites quotidianos; nódoas são eles e máculas, deleitando-se em seus enganos, quando se banqueteiam convosco;
14 having eyes full of adultery, and sins which cease not, alluring souls that are not established. An heart have they which is disciplined in covetousness; sons of malediction,
14 Tendo os olhos cheios de adultério, e não cessando de pecar, engodando as almas inconstantes, tendo o coração exercitado na avareza, filhos de maldição;
15 who, forsaking the straight way, have erred, and gone in the way of Belam bar Beur, who the wages of iniquity loved. But he had reproof of his transgression;
15 Os quais, deixando o caminho direito, erraram seguindo o caminho de Balaão, filho de Beor, que amou o prêmio da injustiça;
16 (for) the dumb ass which spake with the voice of man rebuked the madness of the prophet.
16 Mas teve a repreensão da sua transgressão; o mudo jumento, falando com voz humana, impediu a loucura do profeta.
17 These are wells without water, clouds driven from above, unto whom the blackness of darkness is reserved.
17 Estes são fontes sem água, nuvens levadas pela força do vento, para os quais a escuridão das trevas eternamente se reserva.
18 For while they speak scoffing words of vanity, they allure with impure desires of the flesh those who almost escaped from them who have their conversation in error.
18 Porque, falando coisas mui arrogantes de vaidades, engodam com as concupiscências da carne, e com dissoluções, aqueles que se estavam afastando dos que andam em erro,
19 And liberty to them they promise, while they (themselves) are the servants of corruption; for the thing by which a man is overcome, to that he is subject.
19 Prometendo-lhes liberdade, sendo eles mesmos servos da corrupção. Porque de quem alguém é vencido, do tal faz-se também servo.
20 For if they have escaped from the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jeshu Meshiha, with those very things entangled they are again over-come, their end becomes worse than the beginning.
20 Porquanto se, depois de terem escapado das corrupções do mundo, pelo conhecimento do Senhor e Salvador Jesus Cristo, forem outra vez envolvidos nelas e vencidos, tornou-se-lhes o último estado pior do que o primeiro.
21 For it had been more tolerable for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, when they knew, to turn backward from the holy commandment delivered to them.
21 Porque melhor lhes fora não conhecerem o caminho da justiça, do que, conhecendo-o, desviarem-se do santo mandamento que lhes fora dado;
22 But it hath happened to them according to the true proverb, that The dog hath turned unto his vomit; the sow which had washed into the wallow of the mire.
22 Deste modo sobreveio-lhes o que por um verdadeiro provérbio se diz: O cão voltou ao seu próprio vômito, e a porca lavada ao espojadouro de lama.
