1 The LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
1 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, no deserto do Sinai, no tabernáculo da congregação, no primeiro dia do segundo mês, no segundo ano após eles terem saído da terra do Egito, dizendo:
2 “Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, every male, one by one,
2 Tomai a soma de toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel, segundo suas famílias, de acordo com a casa de seus pais, conforme o número de seus nomes, todos os homens, cabeça por cabeça;
3 from twenty years old and upward, all who are able to go out to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall count them by their divisions.
3 com vinte anos de idade ou mais, todos os que estiverem capacitados para sair à guerra em Israel; tu e Arão os contareis, segundo seus exércitos.
4 With you there shall be a man of every tribe, each one head of his fathers’ house.

5 These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.
5 E esses são os nomes dos homens que estarão convosco; da tribo de Rúben: Elizur, filho de Sedeur.
6 Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

7 Of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

8 Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.

16 These are those who were called of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; they were the heads of the thousands of Israel.
16 Esses foram os eleitos da congregação, os príncipes das tribos de seus pais, os cabeças de milhares em Israel.
17 Moses and Aaron took these men who are mentioned by name.
17 E Moisés e Arão tomaram esses homens, designados por seus nomes.
18 They assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their ancestry by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, one by one.
18 E reuniram toda congregação no primeiro dia do segundo mês, e declararam a sua descendência, segundo suas famílias, de acordo com a casa de seus pais, conforme o número de seus nomes, a partir de vinte anos de idade ou mais, cabeça por cabeça.
19 As the LORD commanded Moses, so he counted them in the wilderness of Sinai.
19 Como o SENHOR ordenou a Moisés, ele os contou, no deserto do Sinai.
20 The children of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
20 E os filhos de Rúben, o filho mais velho de Israel, por suas gerações, segundo suas famílias, de acordo com a casa de seus pais, conforme o número de seus nomes, cabeça por cabeça, todos os homens com vinte anos de idade ou mais, todos os que eram capacitados para sair à guerra;
21 those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand and five hundred.
21 os que foram contados, da tribo de Rúben, eram quarenta e seis mil e quinhentos.
22 Of the children of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, those who were counted of it, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
22 Dos filhos de Simeão, por suas gerações, segundo suas famílias, de acordo com a casa de seus pais, conforme o número de seus nomes, cabeça por cabeça, todos os homens com vinte anos de idade ou mais, todos os que eram capacitados para sair à guerra;
23 those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand and three hundred.
23 os que foram contados, da tribo de Simeão, eram cinquenta e nove mil e trezentos.
24 Of the children of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
24 Dos filhos de Gade, por suas gerações, segundo suas famílias, de acordo com a casa de seus pais, conforme o número de seus nomes, a partir de vinte anos de idade ou mais, todos os que eram capacitados para sair à guerra;
25 those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand and six hundred and fifty.

26 Of the children of Judah, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
26 Dos filhos de Judá, por suas gerações, segundo suas famílias, de acordo com a casa de seus pais, conforme o número de seus nomes, a partir de vinte anos de idade ou mais, todos os que eram capacitados para sair à guerra;
27 those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Judah, were seventy-four thousand and six hundred.
27 os que foram contados, da tribo de Judá, eram setenta e quatro mil e seiscentos.
28 Of the children of Issachar, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
28 Dos filhos de Issacar, por suas gerações, segundo suas famílias, de acordo com a casa de seus pais, conforme o número de seus nomes, a partir de vinte anos de idade ou mais, todos os que eram capacitados para sair à guerra;
29 those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand and four hundred.

30 Of the children of Zebulun, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

31 those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty-seven thousand and four hundred.

32 Of the children of Joseph: of the children of Ephraim, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
32 Dos filhos de José; especificamente, dos filhos de Efraim, por suas gerações, segundo suas famílias, de acordo com a casa de seus pais, conforme o número de seus nomes, a partir de vinte anos de idade ou mais, todos os que eram capacitados para sair à guerra;

38 Of the children of Dan, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

39 those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Dan, were sixty-two thousand and seven hundred.

40 Of the children of Asher, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
40 Dos filhos de Aser, por suas gerações, segundo suas famílias, de acordo com a casa de seus pais, conforme o número de seus nomes, a partir de vinte anos de idade ou mais, todos os que eram capacitados para sair à guerra;
41 those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand and five hundred.

42 Of the children of Naphtali, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
42 Dos filhos de Naftali, ao longo de suas gerações, segundo suas famílias, de acordo com a casa de seus pais, conforme o número de seus nomes, a partir de vinte anos de idade ou mais, todos os que eram capacitados para sair à guerra;
43 those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand and four hundred.

44 These are those who were counted, whom Moses and Aaron counted, and the twelve men who were princes of Israel, each one for his fathers’ house.
44 Esses são os que foram contados, por Moisés e Arão, e os príncipes de Israel, sendo doze homens; cada um deles pela casa de seus pais.
45 So all those who were counted of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war in Israel—
45 Assim foram contados todos os filhos de Israel, de acordo com a casa de seus pais, com vinte anos de idade ou mais, todos os que eram capacitados para sair à guerra em Israel;
46 all those who were counted were six hundred and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
46 todos os que foram contados, eram seiscentos e três mil e quinhentos e cinquenta.
47 But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not counted amongst them.
47 Todavia, os levitas, de acordo com a casa de seus pais, não foram contados entre eles.
48 For the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
48 Porque o SENHOR havia falado a Moisés, dizendo:
49 “Only the tribe of Levi you shall not count, neither shall you take a census of them amongst the children of Israel;
49 Somente não contarás a tribo de Levi, nem incluirás a soma deles entre os filhos de Israel.
50 but appoint the Levites over the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings, and over all that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; and they shall take care of it, and shall encamp around it.
50 Mas porás os levitas sobre o tabernáculo do testemunho, e sobre todos os seus utensílios, e sobre todas as coisas que pertencem a ele; eles levarão o tabernáculo, e todos os seus utensílios, e o administrarão, e acamparão ao redor do tabernáculo.
51 When the tabernacle is to move, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
51 E quando o tabernáculo partir, os levitas o desmontarão; e quando o tabernáculo for fixado, os levitas o montarão; e o estranho que se aproximar dele, morrerá.
52 The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their divisions.
52 E os filhos de Israel armarão as suas tendas, cada homem junto ao próprio acampamento, e cada homem junto à sua própria bandeira, segundo seus exércitos.
53 But the Levites shall encamp around the Tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel. The Levites shall be responsible for the Tabernacle of the Testimony.”
53 Porém, os levitas acamparão ao redor do tabernáculo do testemunho, para que não haja ira sobre a congregação dos filhos de Israel; e os levitas ficarão encarregados do tabernáculo do testemunho.
54 Thus the children of Israel did. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they did.
54 E assim fizeram os filhos de Israel, segundo tudo o que o SENHOR ordenara a Moisés; assim o fizeram.
