In|strong="G1722" judging|strong="G2919" others|strong="G2087" you|strong="G3739" condemn|strong="G2632" yourself|strong="G4572", for|strong="G1063" you|strong="G3739" who|strong="G3739" set yourself|strong="G4572" up|strong="G1722" as|strong="G1722" a|strong="G1722" judge|strong="G2919" do|strong="G4238" the|strong="G1722" very|strong="G3588" same|strong="G3739" things|strong="G3956".

4 Or|strong="G2228" do|strong="G2532" you|strong="G4771" think|strong="G2706" lightly|strong="G2706" of|strong="G2316" his|strong="G1519" abundant kindness|strong="G5544", patience|strong="G3115", and|strong="G2532" forbearance, not|strong="G2532" realising that|strong="G3754" his|strong="G1519" kindness|strong="G5544" is|strong="G3588" meant to|strong="G1519" lead|strong="G2532" you|strong="G4771" to|strong="G1519" repentance|strong="G3341"?
5 Hard-hearted and|strong="G2532" impenitent as|strong="G1722" you|strong="G4771" are|strong="G3588", you|strong="G4771" are|strong="G3588" storing|strong="G2343" up|strong="G2343" for|strong="G1161" yourself|strong="G4572" wrath|strong="G3709" on|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" day|strong="G2250" of|strong="G2250" wrath|strong="G3709", when|strong="G1161" God|strong="G2316"’s justice as|strong="G1722" a|strong="G2532" judge will|strong="G2316" be|strong="G2532" revealed;
6 for|strong="G2596" he|strong="G3739" will|strong="G3739" give to|strong="G2596" everyone|strong="G1538" what|strong="G3739" their|strong="G2596" actions|strong="G2041" deserve.
7 To|strong="G2532" those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588", by|strong="G2596" perseverance|strong="G5281" in|strong="G2596" doing|strong="G2041" good|strong="G3588", aim at|strong="G2596" glory|strong="G1391", honour|strong="G5092", and|strong="G2532" all|strong="G2532" that|strong="G3588" is|strong="G3588" imperishable, he|strong="G2532" will|strong="G2532" give immortal life|strong="G2222";
8 while|strong="G1161" as|strong="G1161" to|strong="G2532" those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" are|strong="G3588" factious, and|strong="G2532" disobedient to|strong="G2532" truth but|strong="G1161" obedient to|strong="G2532" evil|strong="G2532", wrath|strong="G3709" and|strong="G2532" anger|strong="G3709", distress and|strong="G2532" despair,
9 will|strong="G2532" fall on|strong="G1909" every|strong="G3956" human being|strong="G2532" who|strong="G3588" persists in|strong="G1909" wrongdoing – on|strong="G1909" the|strong="G2532" Jew|strong="G2453" first|strong="G4413", but|strong="G2532" also|strong="G2532" on|strong="G1909" the|strong="G2532" Greek|strong="G1672".
10 But|strong="G1161" there|strong="G2532" will|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" glory|strong="G1391", honour|strong="G5092", and|strong="G2532" peace|strong="G1515" for|strong="G1161" everyone|strong="G3956" who|strong="G3588" does|strong="G2038" right – for|strong="G1161" the|strong="G2532" Jew|strong="G2453" first|strong="G4413", but|strong="G1161" also|strong="G2532" for|strong="G1161" the|strong="G2532" Greek|strong="G1672",

18 and|strong="G2532", having|strong="G2532" been|strong="G2532" carefully instructed|strong="G2727" from|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" Law|strong="G3551", have|strong="G2532" learned|strong="G1097" to|strong="G2532" appreciate the|strong="G2532" finer moral distinctions.
19 Perhaps you|strong="G1722" are|strong="G1510" confident|strong="G3982" that|strong="G3588" you|strong="G1722" are|strong="G1510" a|strong="G1722" guide|strong="G3595" to|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" blind|strong="G5185", a|strong="G1722" light|strong="G5457" to|strong="G1722" those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" are|strong="G1510" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" dark, an|strong="G1722" instructor of|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" unintelligent,
20 and|strong="G2532" a|strong="G2192" teacher|strong="G1320" of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G1722" childish|strong="G3516", because|strong="G1722" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" Law|strong="G3551" you|strong="G1722" possess|strong="G2192" the|strong="G1722" outline of|strong="G2532" all|strong="G2532" knowledge|strong="G1108" and|strong="G2532" truth.
21 Why, then|strong="G3767", you|strong="G1321" teacher of|strong="G3588" others|strong="G2087", don’t|strong="G3588" you|strong="G1321" teach|strong="G1321" yourself|strong="G4572"? Do|strong="G3361" you|strong="G1321" preach|strong="G2784" against|strong="G3361" stealing|strong="G2813", and|strong="G3767" yet steal|strong="G2813"?
22 Do|strong="G3004" you|strong="G3004" forbid adultery|strong="G3431", and|strong="G3588" yet commit|strong="G3431" adultery|strong="G3431"? Do|strong="G3004" you|strong="G3004" loathe idols|strong="G1497", and|strong="G3588" yet plunder temples|strong="G2416"?
23 Boasting|strong="G2744", as|strong="G1722" you|strong="G3739" do|strong="G1223", of|strong="G1223" your|strong="G1223" Law|strong="G3551", do|strong="G1223" you|strong="G3739" dishonour God|strong="G2316" by|strong="G1223" breaking|strong="G3847" the|strong="G1722" Law|strong="G3551"?
24 For|strong="G1063", as|strong="G2531" scripture|strong="G1125" says – “The|strong="G1722" Gentiles|strong="G1484" insult God|strong="G2316"’s name|strong="G3686" because|strong="G1223" of|strong="G1223" you|strong="G5210"”!
25 Circumcision|strong="G4061" has|strong="G1096" its value|strong="G5623", if|strong="G1437" you|strong="G4771" are|strong="G1510" obeying the|strong="G1161" Law|strong="G3551". But|strong="G1161", if|strong="G1437" you|strong="G4771" are|strong="G1510" a|strong="G1096" breaker|strong="G3848" of|strong="G3551" the|strong="G1161" Law|strong="G3551", your|strong="G1437" circumcision|strong="G4061" is|strong="G1510" no|strong="G3588" better than uncircumcision.
26 If|strong="G1437", then|strong="G3767", an|strong="G1519" uncircumcised man|strong="G3756" pays regard|strong="G3049" to|strong="G1519" the|strong="G1519" requirements|strong="G1345" of|strong="G3551" the|strong="G1519" Law|strong="G3551", won’t|strong="G3588" he|strong="G3588", although not|strong="G3756" circumcised|strong="G4061", be|strong="G3756" regarded|strong="G3049" by|strong="G1519" God|strong="G1519" as|strong="G1519" if|strong="G1437" he|strong="G3588" were|strong="G3588"?
27 Indeed|strong="G2532", the|strong="G2532" person who|strong="G3588", owing to|strong="G2532" his|strong="G1223" birth, remains uncircumcised, and|strong="G2532" yet|strong="G2532" scrupulously obeys the|strong="G2532" Law|strong="G3551", will|strong="G2532" condemn|strong="G2919" you|strong="G4771", who|strong="G3588", for|strong="G1223" all|strong="G2532" your|strong="G1223" written|strong="G1121" Law|strong="G3551" and|strong="G2532" your|strong="G1223" circumcision|strong="G4061", are|strong="G3588" yet|strong="G2532" a|strong="G2532" breaker|strong="G3848" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" Law|strong="G3551".
28 For|strong="G1063" a|strong="G1722" man|strong="G3756" who|strong="G3588" is|strong="G1510" only|strong="G3756" a|strong="G1722" Jew|strong="G2453" outwardly|strong="G1722" is|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" a|strong="G1722" real Jew|strong="G2453"; nor|strong="G3761" is|strong="G1510" outward|strong="G5318" bodily|strong="G4561" circumcision|strong="G4061" real circumcision|strong="G4061". The|strong="G1722" real Jew|strong="G2453" is|strong="G1510" the|strong="G1722" person who|strong="G3588" is|strong="G1510" a|strong="G1722" Jew|strong="G2453" in|strong="G1722" soul;
29 and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G1722" real circumcision|strong="G4061" is|strong="G3588" the|strong="G1722" circumcision|strong="G4061" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G1722" heart|strong="G2588", a|strong="G2532" spiritual|strong="G4151" and|strong="G2532" not|strong="G3756" a|strong="G2532" literal thing|strong="G3739". Such|strong="G3588" a|strong="G2532" person|strong="G3739" wins praise|strong="G1868" from|strong="G1537" God|strong="G2316", though|strong="G2532" not|strong="G3756" from|strong="G1537" people|strong="G3588".
