15 That|strong="G2596" is|strong="G3588" why I|strong="G1473" want so|strong="G2532" much to|strong="G2596" tell the|strong="G3588" Good|strong="G2097" News|strong="G2097" to|strong="G2596" you|strong="G5210" there|strong="G1722" in|strong="G1722" Rome|strong="G4516".
16 I|strong="G2532" am|strong="G1510" proud of|strong="G2316" the|strong="G3956" Good|strong="G1510" News|strong="G2098", because|strong="G1063" it|strong="G1510" is|strong="G1510" the|strong="G3956" power|strong="G1411" God|strong="G2316" uses to|strong="G1519" save everyone|strong="G3956" who|strong="G3588" believes|strong="G4100"—to|strong="G1519" save the|strong="G3956" Jews|strong="G2453" first|strong="G4413", and|strong="G2532" now|strong="G2532" to|strong="G1519" save those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" are|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" Jews|strong="G2453".
17 The|strong="G3588" Good News shows how|strong="G2531" God|strong="G2316" makes people|strong="G0846" right|strong="G1342" with|strong="G1722" himself|strong="G0846". God’s|strong="G2316" way|strong="G1722" of|strong="G1537" making people|strong="G0846" right|strong="G1342" begins and|strong="G1161" ends with|strong="G1722" faith|strong="G4102". 22 They|strong="G1510" said they|strong="G1510" were|strong="G1510" wise|strong="G4680", but they|strong="G1510" became|strong="G3471" fools|strong="G3471".
23 Instead of|strong="G2316" honoring the|strong="G3588" divine greatness of|strong="G2316" God|strong="G2316", who|strong="G3588" lives forever, they|strong="G2532" traded it|strong="G2532" for|strong="G1722" the|strong="G3588" worship of|strong="G2316" idols—things|strong="G3588" made to|strong="G2532" look like|strong="G5349" humans, who|strong="G3588" get sick and|strong="G2532" die, or|strong="G2532" like|strong="G5349" birds|strong="G4071", animals|strong="G5074", and|strong="G2532" snakes.
24 People|strong="G0846" wanted only|strong="G1438" to|strong="G1519" do evil. So|strong="G1519" God|strong="G2316" left them|strong="G0846" and|strong="G2316" let them|strong="G0846" go their|strong="G0846" sinful way|strong="G1722". And|strong="G2316" so|strong="G1519" they|strong="G0846" became completely|strong="G1519" immoral and|strong="G2316" used their|strong="G0846" bodies|strong="G4983" in|strong="G1722" shameful ways with|strong="G1722" each|strong="G1438" other|strong="G1438".
25 They|strong="G3739" traded the|strong="G3588" truth|strong="G0225" of|strong="G2316" God|strong="G2316" for|strong="G1519" a|strong="G1510" lie|strong="G5579". They|strong="G3739" bowed down and|strong="G2532" worshiped|strong="G4573" the|strong="G3588" things|strong="G3739" God|strong="G2316" made instead of|strong="G2316" worshiping|strong="G3000" the|strong="G3588" God|strong="G2316" who|strong="G3739" made those|strong="G3588" things|strong="G3739". He|strong="G2532" is|strong="G1510" the|strong="G3588" one|strong="G3739" who|strong="G3739" should|strong="G2316" be|strong="G1510" praised forever|strong="G0165". Amen|strong="G0281".
26 Because|strong="G1223" people|strong="G0846" did those|strong="G3588" things|strong="G3778", God|strong="G2316" left them|strong="G0846" and|strong="G2316" let them|strong="G0846" do the|strong="G3588" shameful things|strong="G3778" they|strong="G0846" wanted to|strong="G1519" do. Women|strong="G0846" stopped having natural|strong="G5446" sex with|strong="G3844" men|strong="G3778" and|strong="G2316" started having sex with|strong="G3844" other|strong="G1438" women|strong="G0846".
27 In|strong="G1722" the|strong="G3588" same|strong="G0846" way|strong="G3668", men|strong="G0730" stopped having natural|strong="G5446" sex with|strong="G1722" women|strong="G0846" and|strong="G2532" began wanting each|strong="G0240" other|strong="G3739" all|strong="G3588" the|strong="G3588" time. Men|strong="G0730" did|strong="G0863" shameful things|strong="G3739" with|strong="G1722" other|strong="G3739" men|strong="G0730", and|strong="G2532" in|strong="G1722" their|strong="G0846" bodies they|strong="G0846" received|strong="G0618" the|strong="G3588" punishment for|strong="G1519" those|strong="G3588" wrongs.

29 They|strong="G3956" are|strong="G3956" filled|strong="G4137" with|strong="G4137" every|strong="G3956" kind|strong="G3956" of|strong="G3956" sin, evil|strong="G2549", greed|strong="G4124", and|strong="G3956" hatred. They|strong="G3956" are|strong="G3956" full|strong="G3324" of|strong="G3956" jealousy, murder|strong="G5408", fighting, lying, and|strong="G3956" thinking the|strong="G3956" worst things|strong="G3956" about|strong="G3956" each other. 30 and|strong="G1118" say evil|strong="G2556" things|strong="G2556" about each other. They hate God|strong="G2319". They are rude, proud, and|strong="G1118" brag about themselves. They invent ways of|strong="G2319" doing evil|strong="G2556". They don’t obey their parents|strong="G1118",
31 they are foolish|strong="G0801", they don’t keep their promises, and they show no kindness or mercy to others.
32 They|strong="G0846" know|strong="G1921" God’s|strong="G2316" law says that|strong="G3754" anyone|strong="G0846" who|strong="G3588" lives like|strong="G5108" that|strong="G3754" should|strong="G2316" die|strong="G2288". But|strong="G0235" they|strong="G0846" not|strong="G3756" only|strong="G3440" continue|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" do|strong="G4160" these|strong="G3748" things|strong="G5108" themselves|strong="G0846", but|strong="G0235" they|strong="G0846" also|strong="G2532" encourage others|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" do|strong="G4160" them|strong="G0846".
