18 While|strong="G2980" Jesus|strong="G0846" was|strong="G3588" still|strong="G2064" talking|strong="G2980", a|strong="G3708" leader of|strong="G1520" the|strong="G3588" synagogue came|strong="G2064" to|strong="G3004" him|strong="G0846". The|strong="G3588" leader bowed|strong="G4352" down|strong="G4352" before|strong="G1909" him|strong="G0846" and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004", “My|strong="G3708" daughter|strong="G2364" has|strong="G3778" just|strong="G2532" died|strong="G5053". He|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004", “Be|strong="G2532" happy, dear woman|strong="G1135". He|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G3708" people|strong="G3793" there who|strong="G3588" make music for|strong="G1519" funerals. And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G3708" a|strong="G3708" crowd|strong="G3793" of|strong="G3614" people|strong="G3793" crying loudly.
24 Jesus|strong="G0846" said|strong="G3004", “Go away. The|strong="G3588" girl|strong="G2877" is|strong="G3588" not|strong="G3756" dead|strong="G0599". She|strong="G0846" is|strong="G3588" only|strong="G3756" sleeping|strong="G2518".” But|strong="G0235" the|strong="G3588" people|strong="G0846" laughed at|strong="G2518" him|strong="G0846".

30 Then|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3588" men|strong="G0846" were|strong="G3788" able to|strong="G3004" see|strong="G3708". Jesus|strong="G2424" gave them|strong="G0846" a|strong="G3708" strong warning. He|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004", “Don’t|strong="G3367" tell|strong="G3004" anyone|strong="G3367" about|strong="G3588" this|strong="G3588".”

34 But|strong="G1161" the|strong="G3588" Pharisees|strong="G5330" said|strong="G3004", “The|strong="G3588" ruler|strong="G0758" of|strong="G1722" demons|strong="G1140" is|strong="G3588" the|strong="G3588" one|strong="G3588" that|strong="G3004" gives|strong="G3004" him|strong="G1722" power to|strong="G3004" force demons|strong="G1140" out|strong="G1544".”

36 Jesus|strong="G0846" saw|strong="G3708" the|strong="G3588" many|strong="G3793" people|strong="G3793" and|strong="G2532" felt|strong="G4697" sorry for|strong="G3754" them|strong="G0846" because|strong="G3754" they|strong="G0846" were|strong="G1510" worried and|strong="G2532" helpless|strong="G4496"—like|strong="G5616" sheep|strong="G4263" without|strong="G3361" a|strong="G2192" shepherd|strong="G4166" to|strong="G2532" lead|strong="G1510" them|strong="G0846".
37 Jesus|strong="G0846" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G3004" his|strong="G0846" followers, “There|strong="G1161" is|strong="G3588" such a|strong="G3004" big harvest|strong="G2326" of|strong="G3004" people|strong="G0846" to|strong="G3004" bring|strong="G3004" in|strong="G3004".
