7 He|strong="G2532" also|strong="G2532" saw the|strong="G3588" cloth|strong="G4676" that|strong="G3739" had|strong="G1510" been|strong="G1510" around|strong="G1909" Jesus’ head|strong="G2776". 8 Then|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3588" other|strong="G0243" follower went|strong="G2064" in|strong="G1519"—the|strong="G3588" one|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" had|strong="G2064" reached|strong="G1525" the|strong="G3588" tomb|strong="G3419" first|strong="G4413". He|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G3708" what|strong="G3588" had|strong="G2064" happened|strong="G3588" and|strong="G2532" believed|strong="G4100".

10 Then|strong="G3767" the|strong="G3588" followers went|strong="G0565" back|strong="G3825" home.
11 But|strong="G1161" Mary|strong="G3137" stood|strong="G2476" outside|strong="G1854" the|strong="G3588" tomb|strong="G3419", crying|strong="G2799". While|strong="G5613" she|strong="G5613" was|strong="G3588" crying|strong="G2799", she|strong="G5613" bent down and|strong="G1161" looked|strong="G3879" inside the|strong="G3588" tomb|strong="G3419".

13 The|strong="G3588" angels asked|strong="G3004" Mary|strong="G0846", “Woman|strong="G1135", why|strong="G5101" are|strong="G3588" you|strong="G3754" crying|strong="G2799"?”
14 When|strong="G2532" Mary said|strong="G3004" this|strong="G3778", she|strong="G3754" turned|strong="G4762" around|strong="G3694" and|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G1492" Jesus|strong="G2424" standing|strong="G2476" there|strong="G1510". 16 Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G3004" her|strong="G0846", “Mary|strong="G3137".”
17 Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G4314" her|strong="G0846", “You|strong="G5210" don’t|strong="G3361" need to|strong="G4314" hold on|strong="G1161" to|strong="G4314" me|strong="G3004"! 18 Mary|strong="G3137" Magdalene|strong="G3094" went|strong="G2064" to|strong="G3004" the|strong="G3588" followers and|strong="G2532" told|strong="G3004" them|strong="G0846", “I|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G3708" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962"!” And|strong="G2532" she|strong="G0846" told|strong="G3004" them|strong="G0846" what|strong="G3588" he|strong="G2532" had|strong="G3748" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G3004" her|strong="G0846".

22 Then|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" breathed|strong="G1720" on|strong="G4151" them|strong="G0846" and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004", “Receive|strong="G2983" the|strong="G2532" Holy|strong="G0040" Spirit|strong="G4151".
23 If|strong="G0302" you|strong="G0302" forgive|strong="G0863" the|strong="G3588" sins|strong="G0266" of|strong="G5100" anyone|strong="G5100", their|strong="G0846" sins|strong="G0266" are|strong="G3588" forgiven|strong="G0863". If|strong="G0302" there is|strong="G5100" anyone|strong="G5100" whose|strong="G0846" sins|strong="G0266" you|strong="G0302" don’t forgive|strong="G0863", their|strong="G0846" sins|strong="G0266" are|strong="G3588" not|strong="G0266" forgiven|strong="G0863".”
24 Thomas|strong="G2381" (called|strong="G3004" Didymus|strong="G1324") was|strong="G1510" one|strong="G1520" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G3588" twelve|strong="G1427", but|strong="G1161" he|strong="G0846" was|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" with|strong="G3326" the|strong="G3588" other|strong="G1161" followers when|strong="G3753" Jesus|strong="G2424" came|strong="G2064".
25 They|strong="G0846" told|strong="G3004" him|strong="G0846", “We|strong="G1437" saw|strong="G3708" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962".” Thomas said|strong="G3004", “That’s hard to|strong="G1519" believe|strong="G4100". 26 A|strong="G1510" week later|strong="G3326" the|strong="G3588" followers were|strong="G1510" in|strong="G1519" the|strong="G3588" house again|strong="G3825", and|strong="G2532" Thomas|strong="G2381" was|strong="G1510" with|strong="G3326" them|strong="G0846". The|strong="G3588" doors|strong="G2374" were|strong="G1510" locked|strong="G2808", but|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" came|strong="G2064" and|strong="G2532" stood|strong="G2476" among|strong="G1519" them|strong="G0846". He|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004", “Peace|strong="G1515" be|strong="G1510" with|strong="G3326" you|strong="G5210"!”
27 Then|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G1519" Thomas|strong="G2381", “Put|strong="G0906" your|strong="G3708" finger|strong="G1147" here|strong="G5602". Look|strong="G3708" at|strong="G1519" my|strong="G3708" hands|strong="G5495". Put|strong="G0906" your|strong="G3708" hand|strong="G5495" here|strong="G5602" in|strong="G1519" my|strong="G3708" side|strong="G4125". Stop|strong="G3361" doubting and|strong="G2532" believe|strong="G4103".”
28 Thomas|strong="G2381" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G3004" Jesus|strong="G0846", “My|strong="G2316" Lord|strong="G2962" and|strong="G2532" my|strong="G2316" God|strong="G2316"!”
29 Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G3004" him|strong="G0846", “You|strong="G3754" believe|strong="G4100" because|strong="G3754" you|strong="G3754" see|strong="G3708" me|strong="G3004". Great blessings belong to|strong="G3004" the|strong="G3588" people|strong="G0846" who|strong="G3588" believe|strong="G4100" without|strong="G3361" seeing|strong="G3708" me|strong="G3004"!”
30 Jesus|strong="G2424" did|strong="G4160" many|strong="G4183" other|strong="G0243" miraculous signs|strong="G4592" that|strong="G3739" his|strong="G4160" followers saw, which|strong="G3739" are|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" written|strong="G1125" in|strong="G1722" this|strong="G3778" book|strong="G0975".
31 But|strong="G1161" these|strong="G3778" are|strong="G1510" written|strong="G1125" so|strong="G2443" that|strong="G3754" you|strong="G3754" can believe|strong="G4100" that|strong="G3754" Jesus|strong="G2424" is|strong="G1510" the|strong="G3588" Messiah|strong="G5547", the|strong="G3588" Son|strong="G5207" of|strong="G5207" God|strong="G2316". Then|strong="G2532", by|strong="G1722" believing|strong="G4100", you|strong="G3754" can have|strong="G2192" life|strong="G2222" through|strong="G1722" his|strong="G0846" name|strong="G3686".
