3 We|strong="G2532" thank|strong="G2168" God|strong="G2316" for|strong="G1519" you|strong="G5210" always|strong="G3842". And|strong="G2532" that’s what|strong="G3588" we|strong="G2532" should|strong="G3784" do|strong="G1510", because|strong="G3754" you|strong="G5210" give|strong="G2168" us|strong="G1519" good|strong="G1510" reason to|strong="G1519" be|strong="G1510" thankful: Your|strong="G2532" faith|strong="G4102" is|strong="G1510" growing more|strong="G3956" and|strong="G2532" more|strong="G3956". We|strong="G2249" tell them|strong="G0846" how you|strong="G5210" patiently continue|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" strong and|strong="G2532" have|strong="G2532" faith|strong="G4102", even|strong="G2532" though|strong="G2532" you|strong="G5210" are|strong="G3956" being|strong="G4771" persecuted and|strong="G2532" are|strong="G3956" suffering|strong="G2347" many troubles|strong="G2347".
5 This|strong="G3588" is|strong="G2316" proof that|strong="G3739" God|strong="G2316" is|strong="G2316" right|strong="G1342" in|strong="G1519" his|strong="G3739" judgment|strong="G2920". He|strong="G2532" wants you|strong="G5210" to|strong="G1519" be|strong="G2532" worthy|strong="G2661" of|strong="G0932" his|strong="G3739" kingdom|strong="G0932". Your|strong="G2532" suffering|strong="G3958" is|strong="G2316" for|strong="G1519" that|strong="G3739" kingdom|strong="G0932".
6 God|strong="G2316" will|strong="G2316" do what|strong="G3588" is|strong="G2316" right|strong="G1342". He|strong="G3844" will|strong="G2316" punish those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" are|strong="G3588" causing you|strong="G5210" trouble|strong="G2347".
7 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" will|strong="G2962" bring relief|strong="G0425" to|strong="G2532" you|strong="G5210" who|strong="G3588" are|strong="G3588" troubled. He|strong="G2532" will|strong="G2962" bring it|strong="G0846" to|strong="G2532" you|strong="G5210" and|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" us|strong="G1722" when|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" comes|strong="G2532" from|strong="G0575" heaven|strong="G3772" for|strong="G1722" all|strong="G3588" to|strong="G2532" see, together|strong="G3326" with|strong="G3326" his|strong="G0846" powerful|strong="G1411" angels|strong="G0032".
8 He|strong="G2532" will|strong="G2316" come with|strong="G1722" burning|strong="G4442" fire|strong="G4442" to|strong="G2532" punish|strong="G1557" those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" don’t|strong="G3361" know|strong="G1492" God|strong="G2316"—those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" refuse to|strong="G2532" accept the|strong="G3588" Good|strong="G2098" News|strong="G2098" about|strong="G1722" our|strong="G2316" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424".
9 They|strong="G0846" will|strong="G2962" be|strong="G2532" punished with|strong="G0575" a|strong="G2532" destruction|strong="G3639" that|strong="G3748" never ends. They|strong="G0846" will|strong="G2962" not|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" allowed to|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" with|strong="G0575" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962" but|strong="G2532" will|strong="G2962" be|strong="G2532" kept away|strong="G0575" from|strong="G0575" his|strong="G0846" great power|strong="G2479".
10 This|strong="G3588" will|strong="G2250" happen on|strong="G1909" the|strong="G3956" day|strong="G2250" when|strong="G3752" the|strong="G3956" Lord Jesus|strong="G0846" comes|strong="G2064" to|strong="G1909" receive honor with|strong="G1722" his|strong="G0846" holy|strong="G0040" people|strong="G3956". 11 That|strong="G3739" is|strong="G2316" why|strong="G3739" we|strong="G2249" always|strong="G3842" pray|strong="G4336" for|strong="G1519" you|strong="G5210".
