3 all|strong="G3956" things|strong="G3956" therefore|strong="G3767" whatsoever|strong="G3745" they|strong="G2532" bid|strong="G3004" you|strong="G5210" observe|strong="G5083", these observe|strong="G5083" and|strong="G2532" do|strong="G4160": but|strong="G1161" do|strong="G4160" not|strong="G3756" ye|strong="G5210" after|strong="G2596" their|strong="G2532" works|strong="G2041"; for|strong="G1063" they|strong="G2532" say|strong="G3004", and|strong="G2532" do|strong="G4160" not|strong="G3756".
4 For|strong="G1909" they|strong="G2532" bind|strong="G2532" heavy burdens|strong="G5413" and|strong="G2532" grievous to|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" borne, and|strong="G2532" lay|strong="G2007" them|strong="G3588" on|strong="G1909" men|strong="G3588"’s shoulders|strong="G5606"; but|strong="G1161" they|strong="G2532" will|strong="G2309" not|strong="G3756" move|strong="G2795" them|strong="G3588" with|strong="G2532" their|strong="G2532" finger|strong="G1147".
5 But|strong="G1161" all|strong="G3956" their|strong="G2532" works|strong="G2041" they|strong="G2532" do|strong="G4160" to|strong="G4314" be|strong="G2532" seen|strong="G2300" of|strong="G2532" men|strong="G3956": and|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" make|strong="G4160" broad their|strong="G2532" phylacteries|strong="G5440", and|strong="G2532" enlarge|strong="G3170" the|strong="G2532" borders of|strong="G2532" their|strong="G2532" garments,
6 and|strong="G2532" love|strong="G5368" the|strong="G1722" chief|strong="G4410" place|strong="G4411" at|strong="G1722" feasts|strong="G1173", and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G1722" chief|strong="G4410" seats|strong="G4410" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" synagogues|strong="G4864",
7 and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G1722" salutations in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" marketplaces, and|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" called|strong="G2564" of|strong="G5259" men|strong="G3588", Rabbi|strong="G4461", Rabbi|strong="G4461".
8 But|strong="G1161" be|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3361" ye|strong="G5210" called|strong="G2564" Rabbi|strong="G4461": for|strong="G1063" one|strong="G1520" is|strong="G1510" your|strong="G3956" master|strong="G1320", even Christ|strong="G1520", and|strong="G1161" all|strong="G3956" ye|strong="G5210" are|strong="G1510" brethren|strong="G3588".
9 And|strong="G2532" call|strong="G2564" no|strong="G3361" man|strong="G1520" your|strong="G2532" father|strong="G3962" on|strong="G1909" the|strong="G2532" earth|strong="G1093": for|strong="G1063" one|strong="G1520" is|strong="G1510" your|strong="G2532" Father|strong="G3962", even he|strong="G2532" who|strong="G3588" is|strong="G1510" in|strong="G1909" heaven|strong="G3770".
10 Neither|strong="G3366" be|strong="G1510" ye|strong="G5210" called|strong="G2564" masters|strong="G2519": for|strong="G3754" one|strong="G1520" is|strong="G1510" your|strong="G3366" master|strong="G2519", even the|strong="G3588" Christ|strong="G5547".
11 But|strong="G1161" he|strong="G1161" that|strong="G3588" is|strong="G1510" greatest|strong="G3173" among|strong="G3588" you|strong="G5210" shall|strong="G3588" be|strong="G1510" your|strong="G3588" servant|strong="G1249".
12 And|strong="G2532" whosoever|strong="G3748" shall|strong="G2532" exalt|strong="G5312" himself|strong="G1438" shall|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" humbled|strong="G5013"; and|strong="G2532" whosoever|strong="G3748" shall|strong="G2532" humble|strong="G5013" himself|strong="G1438" shall|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" exalted|strong="G5312".
13 But|strong="G1161" woe|strong="G3759" unto|strong="G3756" you|strong="G5210", scribes|strong="G1122" and|strong="G2532" Pharisees|strong="G5330", hypocrites|strong="G5273"! for|strong="G1063" ye|strong="G5210" devour widows’ houses, even|strong="G2532" while|strong="G1161" for|strong="G1063" a|strong="G2532" pretense ye|strong="G5210" make|strong="G2532" long|strong="G3756" prayers: therefore|strong="G1161" ye|strong="G5210" shall|strong="G2532" receive greater|strong="G4771" condemnation.
14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye enter not in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering in to enter.
15 Woe|strong="G3759" unto|strong="G1096" you|strong="G5210", scribes|strong="G1122" and|strong="G2532" Pharisees|strong="G5330", hypocrites|strong="G5273"! for|strong="G3754" ye|strong="G5210" compass sea|strong="G2281" and|strong="G2532" land|strong="G3584" to|strong="G2532" make|strong="G4160" one|strong="G1520" proselyte|strong="G4339"; and|strong="G2532" when|strong="G3752" he|strong="G2532" is|strong="G3588" become|strong="G1096" so|strong="G2532", ye|strong="G5210" make|strong="G4160" him|strong="G3588" twofold more|strong="G2532" a|strong="G1096" son|strong="G5207" of|strong="G5207" hell|strong="G1067" than|strong="G2532" yourselves|strong="G4771".
16 Woe|strong="G3759" unto|strong="G3004" you|strong="G5210", ye|strong="G5210" blind|strong="G5185" guides|strong="G3595", that|strong="G3739" say|strong="G3004", Whosoever|strong="G3739" shall|strong="G3739" swear|strong="G3660" by|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" temple|strong="G3485", it|strong="G1161" is|strong="G1510" nothing|strong="G3762"; but|strong="G1161" whosoever|strong="G3739" shall|strong="G3739" swear|strong="G3660" by|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" gold|strong="G5557" of|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" temple|strong="G3485", he|strong="G1161" is|strong="G1510" a|strong="G1722" debtor.
17 Ye|strong="G1063" fools|strong="G3474" and|strong="G2532" blind|strong="G5185": for|strong="G1063" which|strong="G3588" is|strong="G1510" greater|strong="G3173", the|strong="G2532" gold|strong="G5557", or|strong="G2228" the|strong="G2532" temple|strong="G3485" that|strong="G3588" sanctifieth the|strong="G2532" gold|strong="G5557"?
18 And|strong="G2532", Whosoever|strong="G3739" shall|strong="G2532" swear|strong="G3660" by|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" altar|strong="G2379", it|strong="G2532" is|strong="G1510" nothing|strong="G3762"; but|strong="G1161" whosoever|strong="G3739" shall|strong="G2532" swear|strong="G3660" by|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" gift|strong="G1435" that|strong="G3739" is|strong="G1510" upon|strong="G1722" it|strong="G2532", he|strong="G2532" is|strong="G1510" a|strong="G2532" debtor.
19 Ye|strong="G1063" fools and|strong="G3173" blind|strong="G5185": for|strong="G1063" which|strong="G3588" is|strong="G3588" greater|strong="G3173", the|strong="G3588" gift|strong="G1435", or|strong="G2228" the|strong="G3588" altar|strong="G2379" that|strong="G3588" sanctifieth the|strong="G3588" gift|strong="G1435"?
20 He|strong="G2532" therefore|strong="G3767" that|strong="G3588" sweareth|strong="G3660" by|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" altar|strong="G2379", sweareth|strong="G3660" by|strong="G1722" it|strong="G2532", and|strong="G2532" by|strong="G1722" all|strong="G3956" things|strong="G3956" thereon|strong="G1883".
21 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" that|strong="G3588" sweareth|strong="G3660" by|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" temple|strong="G3485", sweareth|strong="G3660" by|strong="G1722" it|strong="G2532", and|strong="G2532" by|strong="G1722" him|strong="G3588" that|strong="G3588" hath|strong="G2532" dwelt|strong="G2730" therein|strong="G1722".
22 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" that|strong="G3588" sweareth|strong="G3660" by|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" heaven|strong="G3772", sweareth|strong="G3660" by|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" throne|strong="G2362" of|strong="G2316" God|strong="G2316", and|strong="G2532" by|strong="G1722" him|strong="G3588" that|strong="G3588" sitteth|strong="G2521" thereon|strong="G1883".
23 Woe|strong="G3759" unto|strong="G2532" you|strong="G5210", scribes|strong="G1122" and|strong="G2532" Pharisees|strong="G5330", hypocrites|strong="G5273"! for|strong="G3754" ye|strong="G5210" tithe mint|strong="G2238" and|strong="G2532" anise and|strong="G2532" cumin, and|strong="G2532" have|strong="G2532" left|strong="G2548" undone the|strong="G2532" weightier matters of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" law|strong="G3551", justice|strong="G2920", and|strong="G2532" mercy|strong="G1656", and|strong="G2532" faith|strong="G4102": these|strong="G3778" ye|strong="G5210" ought|strong="G1163" to|strong="G2532" have|strong="G2532" done|strong="G4160", and|strong="G2532" not|strong="G3361" to|strong="G2532" leave the|strong="G2532" other|strong="G3361" undone.
24 Ye|strong="G3588" blind|strong="G5185" guides|strong="G3595", that|strong="G3588" strain|strong="G1368" out the|strong="G1161" gnat|strong="G2971", and|strong="G1161" swallow|strong="G2666" the|strong="G1161" camel|strong="G2574"!
25 Woe|strong="G3759" unto|strong="G1161" you|strong="G5210", scribes|strong="G1122" and|strong="G2532" Pharisees|strong="G5330", hypocrites|strong="G5273"! for|strong="G3754" ye|strong="G5210" cleanse|strong="G2511" the|strong="G2532" outside|strong="G1855" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" cup|strong="G4221" and|strong="G2532" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" platter|strong="G3953", but|strong="G1161" within|strong="G2081" they|strong="G2532" are|strong="G3588" full|strong="G1073" from|strong="G1537" extortion and|strong="G2532" unrighteousness.
26 Thou|strong="G2443" blind|strong="G5185" Pharisee|strong="G5330", cleanse|strong="G2511" first|strong="G4413" the|strong="G2532" inside|strong="G1787" of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" cup|strong="G4221" and|strong="G2532" of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" platter|strong="G3953", that|strong="G2443" the|strong="G2532" outside|strong="G1622" of|strong="G2532" them|strong="G3588" may|strong="G2532" become|strong="G1096" clean|strong="G2513" also|strong="G2532".
27 Woe|strong="G3759" unto|strong="G1161" you|strong="G5210", scribes|strong="G1122" and|strong="G2532" Pharisees|strong="G5330", hypocrites|strong="G5273"! for|strong="G3754" ye|strong="G5210" are|strong="G3956" like|strong="G3945" unto|strong="G1161" whited|strong="G2867" sepulchers, which|strong="G3748" outwardly|strong="G1855" appear|strong="G5316" beautiful|strong="G5611", but|strong="G1161" inwardly|strong="G2081" are|strong="G3956" full|strong="G1073" of|strong="G2532" dead|strong="G3498" men|strong="G3956"’s bones|strong="G3747", and|strong="G2532" of|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" uncleanness.
28 Even|strong="G2532" so|strong="G3779" ye|strong="G5210" also|strong="G2532" outwardly|strong="G1855" appear|strong="G5316" righteous|strong="G1342" unto|strong="G1161" men|strong="G1342", but|strong="G1161" inwardly|strong="G2081" ye|strong="G5210" are|strong="G1510" full|strong="G3324" of|strong="G2532" hypocrisy|strong="G5272" and|strong="G2532" iniquity.
29 Woe|strong="G3759" unto|strong="G2532" you|strong="G5210", scribes|strong="G1122" and|strong="G2532" Pharisees|strong="G5330", hypocrites|strong="G5273"! for|strong="G3754" ye|strong="G5210" build|strong="G3618" the|strong="G2532" sepulchers of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" prophets|strong="G4396", and|strong="G2532" garnish|strong="G2885" the|strong="G2532" tombs|strong="G3419" of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" righteous|strong="G1342",
30 and|strong="G2532" say|strong="G3004", If|strong="G1487" we|strong="G2249" had|strong="G2532" been|strong="G1510" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" days|strong="G2250" of|strong="G2250" our|strong="G2532" fathers|strong="G3962", we|strong="G2249" should|strong="G3588" not|strong="G3756" have|strong="G2532" been|strong="G1510" partakers|strong="G2844" with|strong="G1722" them|strong="G3588" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" blood of|strong="G2250" the|strong="G1722" prophets|strong="G4396".
31 Wherefore|strong="G5620" ye|strong="G3754" witness|strong="G3140" to|strong="G1438" yourselves|strong="G1438", that|strong="G3754" ye|strong="G3754" are|strong="G1510" sons|strong="G5207" of|strong="G5207" them|strong="G3588" that|strong="G3754" slew the|strong="G3588" prophets|strong="G4396".

33 Ye|strong="G3588" serpents|strong="G3789", ye|strong="G3588" offspring|strong="G1081" of|strong="G3588" vipers|strong="G2191", how|strong="G4459" shall|strong="G3588" ye|strong="G3588" escape|strong="G5343" the|strong="G3588" judgment|strong="G2920" of|strong="G3588" hell|strong="G1067"?
