3 and|strong="G2532" sent|strong="G2532" forth|strong="G1519" his|strong="G1519" servants|strong="G1401" to|strong="G1519" call|strong="G2564" them|strong="G3588" that|strong="G3588" were|strong="G3588" bidden|strong="G2564" to|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" marriage|strong="G1062" feast|strong="G1062": and|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" would|strong="G2309" not|strong="G3756" come|strong="G2064".
4 Again|strong="G3825" he|strong="G2532" sent|strong="G2532" forth|strong="G1519" other|strong="G3825" servants|strong="G1401", saying|strong="G3004", Tell|strong="G3004" them|strong="G3588" that|strong="G3588" are|strong="G3588" bidden|strong="G2564", Behold|strong="G2400", I|strong="G1473" have|strong="G2532" made|strong="G2090" ready|strong="G2092" my|strong="G3708" dinner; my|strong="G3708" oxen|strong="G5022" and|strong="G2532" my|strong="G3708" fatlings|strong="G4619" are|strong="G3588" killed|strong="G2380", and|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" things|strong="G3956" are|strong="G3588" ready|strong="G2092": come|strong="G1205" to|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" marriage|strong="G1062" feast|strong="G1062".
5 But|strong="G1161" they|strong="G1161" made|strong="G1161" light of|strong="G1909" it|strong="G1161", and|strong="G1161" went|strong="G3588" their|strong="G1519" ways, one|strong="G3739" to|strong="G1519" his|strong="G1519" own|strong="G2398" farm, another|strong="G3739" to|strong="G1519" his|strong="G1519" merchandise|strong="G1711";
6 and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" rest|strong="G3062" laid|strong="G2532" hold|strong="G2902" on|strong="G2902" his|strong="G2532" servants|strong="G1401", and|strong="G2532" treated them|strong="G3588" shamefully, and|strong="G2532" killed them|strong="G3588".
7 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G1161" that|strong="G3588" king|strong="G3588" heard thereof, he|strong="G2532" was|strong="G3588" wroth|strong="G3710"; and|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" sent|strong="G3992" his|strong="G2532" armies|strong="G4753", and|strong="G2532" destroyed those|strong="G3588" murderers|strong="G5406", and|strong="G2532" burned their|strong="G2532" city|strong="G4172".
8 Then|strong="G5119" saith|strong="G3004" he|strong="G1161" to|strong="G3004" his|strong="G2564" servants|strong="G1401", The|strong="G1161" wedding|strong="G1062" is|strong="G1510" ready|strong="G2092", but|strong="G1161" they|strong="G1161" that|strong="G3588" were|strong="G1510" bidden|strong="G2564" were|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" worthy.
9 Go|strong="G4198" ye|strong="G2532" therefore|strong="G3767" unto|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" partings of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" highways|strong="G3598", and|strong="G2532" as|strong="G3745" many|strong="G3745" as|strong="G3745" ye|strong="G2532" shall|strong="G2532" find|strong="G2147", bid|strong="G2564" to|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" marriage|strong="G1062" feast|strong="G1062".
10 And|strong="G2532" those|strong="G3588" servants|strong="G1401" went|strong="G1831" out|strong="G1831" into|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" highways|strong="G3598", and|strong="G2532" gathered|strong="G4863" together|strong="G4863" all|strong="G3956" as|strong="G3745" many|strong="G3745" as|strong="G3745" they|strong="G2532" found|strong="G2147", both|strong="G2532" bad|strong="G4190" and|strong="G2532" good|strong="G3956": and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" wedding|strong="G1062" was|strong="G3588" filled|strong="G4130" with|strong="G2532" guests.
11 But|strong="G1161" when|strong="G1161" the|strong="G1161" king|strong="G3588" came|strong="G1525" in|strong="G1525" to|strong="G3756" behold|strong="G3708" the|strong="G1161" guests, he|strong="G1161" saw|strong="G3708" there|strong="G1563" a|strong="G3708" man|strong="G3756" who|strong="G3588" had|strong="G3588" not|strong="G3756" on|strong="G1746" a|strong="G3708" wedding|strong="G1062" garment|strong="G1742":
12 and|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" saith|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" him|strong="G3588", Friend|strong="G2083", how|strong="G4459" camest thou|strong="G3004" in|strong="G1525" hither|strong="G5602" not|strong="G3361" having|strong="G2192" a|strong="G2192" wedding|strong="G1062" garment|strong="G1742"? And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" was|strong="G3588" speechless|strong="G5392".
13 Then|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" the|strong="G2532" king|strong="G3588" to|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" servants|strong="G1249", Bind|strong="G1210" his|strong="G1519" feet|strong="G4228" and|strong="G2532" hands|strong="G5495", take|strong="G1544" him|strong="G3588" away|strong="G1544", and|strong="G2532" cast|strong="G1544" him out|strong="G1544" into|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" outer|strong="G1857" darkness|strong="G4655"; there|strong="G1563" shall|strong="G2532" be|strong="G1510" weeping|strong="G2805" and|strong="G2532" gnashing|strong="G1030" of|strong="G2532" teeth|strong="G3599".
14 For|strong="G1063" many|strong="G4183" are|strong="G1510" called|strong="G2822", but|strong="G1161" few|strong="G3641" chosen|strong="G1588".
15 Then|strong="G5119" went|strong="G4198" the|strong="G1722" Pharisees|strong="G5330", and|strong="G4198" took|strong="G2983" counsel|strong="G4824" how|strong="G3704" they|strong="G3588" might ensnare him|strong="G3588" in|strong="G1722" his talk|strong="G3056".
16 And|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" send to|strong="G1519" him|strong="G3588" their|strong="G2532" disciples|strong="G3101", with|strong="G3326" the|strong="G1722" Herodians|strong="G2265", saying|strong="G3004", Teacher|strong="G1320", we|strong="G3754" know|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" thou|strong="G4771" art|strong="G4771" true|strong="G3588", and|strong="G2532" teachest|strong="G1321" the|strong="G1722" way|strong="G3598" of|strong="G4012" God|strong="G2316" in|strong="G1722" truth, and|strong="G2532" carest|strong="G3199" not|strong="G3756" for|strong="G1063" anyone|strong="G3762": for|strong="G1063" thou|strong="G4771" regardest not|strong="G3756" the|strong="G1722" person|strong="G4383" of|strong="G4012" men|strong="G3588".
17 Tell|strong="G3004" us|strong="G1325" therefore|strong="G3767", What|strong="G5101" thinkest|strong="G1380" thou|strong="G4771"? Is|strong="G5101" it|strong="G5101" lawful|strong="G1832" to|strong="G3004" give|strong="G1325" tribute|strong="G2778" unto|strong="G3004" Caesar|strong="G2541", or|strong="G2228" not|strong="G3756"?
18 But|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" perceived|strong="G1097" their|strong="G3588" wickedness|strong="G4189", and|strong="G1161" said|strong="G3004", Why|strong="G5101" make ye|strong="G3588" trial of|strong="G2424" me|strong="G1473", ye|strong="G3588" hypocrites|strong="G5273"?
19 Show|strong="G1925" me|strong="G1473" the|strong="G1161" tribute|strong="G2778" money|strong="G3546". And|strong="G1161" they|strong="G1161" brought|strong="G4374" unto|strong="G4374" him|strong="G3588" a|strong="G1161" denarius|strong="G1220".
20 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" saith|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" them|strong="G3588", Whose|strong="G5101" is|strong="G3588" this|strong="G3778" image|strong="G1504" and|strong="G2532" superscription|strong="G1923"?
21 They|strong="G2532" say|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" him|strong="G3588", Caesar|strong="G2541"’s. 25 Now|strong="G1161" there|strong="G2532" were|strong="G1510" with|strong="G3844" us|strong="G2249" seven|strong="G2033" brethren|strong="G3588": and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" first|strong="G4413" married|strong="G1060" and|strong="G2532" deceased|strong="G5053", and|strong="G2532" having|strong="G2192" no|strong="G3361" seed|strong="G4690" left his|strong="G2192" wife|strong="G1135" unto|strong="G1161" his|strong="G2192" brother;
26 in|strong="G2532" like|strong="G3668" manner|strong="G3668" the|strong="G2532" second|strong="G1208" also|strong="G2532", and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" third|strong="G5154", unto|strong="G2193" the|strong="G2532" seventh|strong="G2033".
27 And|strong="G1161" after|strong="G1161" them|strong="G3588" all|strong="G3956", the|strong="G3956" woman|strong="G1135" also|strong="G1161" died|strong="G3588".
28 Therefore|strong="G3767" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" resurrection whose|strong="G5101" wife|strong="G1135" shall|strong="G5101" she|strong="G1063" be|strong="G1510" of|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" seven|strong="G2033"? for|strong="G1063" they|strong="G3588" all|strong="G3956" had|strong="G2192" her|strong="G1438".
29 But|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" answered|strong="G3004" and|strong="G1161" said|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" them|strong="G3588", Ye|strong="G1492" do|strong="G1492" err|strong="G4105", not|strong="G3361" knowing|strong="G1492" the|strong="G1161" scriptures|strong="G1124", nor|strong="G3366" the|strong="G1161" power|strong="G1411" of|strong="G2316" God|strong="G2316".
30 For|strong="G1063" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" resurrection they|strong="G3588" neither|strong="G3777" marry|strong="G1060", nor|strong="G3777" are|strong="G1510" given|strong="G1061" in|strong="G1722" marriage|strong="G1061", but|strong="G1063" are|strong="G1510" as|strong="G5613" angels of|strong="G2316" God|strong="G2316" in|strong="G1722" heaven|strong="G3772".
31 But|strong="G1161" as|strong="G1161" touching|strong="G4012" the|strong="G1161" resurrection of|strong="G4012" the|strong="G1161" dead|strong="G3498", have|strong="G5210" ye|strong="G5210" not|strong="G3756" read that|strong="G3588" which|strong="G3588" was|strong="G3588" spoken|strong="G3004" unto|strong="G3004" you|strong="G5210" by|strong="G5259" God|strong="G2316", saying|strong="G3004",
32 I|strong="G1473" am|strong="G1510" the|strong="G2532" God|strong="G2316" of|strong="G2316" Abraham, and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" God|strong="G2316" of|strong="G2316" Isaac|strong="G2464", and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" God|strong="G2316" of|strong="G2316" Jacob|strong="G2384"? God|strong="G2316" is|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" God|strong="G2316" of|strong="G2316" the|strong="G2532" dead|strong="G3498", but|strong="G2532" of|strong="G2316" the|strong="G2532" living|strong="G2198".
33 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" multitudes|strong="G3793" heard it|strong="G2532", they|strong="G2532" were|strong="G3588" astonished|strong="G1605" at|strong="G1909" his|strong="G1909" teaching|strong="G1322".
34 But|strong="G1161" the|strong="G1161" Pharisees|strong="G5330", when|strong="G1161" they|strong="G1161" heard that|strong="G3754" he|strong="G1161" had|strong="G3588" put|strong="G5392" the|strong="G1161" Sadducees|strong="G4523" to|strong="G1909" silence|strong="G5392", gathered|strong="G4863" themselves|strong="G4863" together|strong="G4863".
35 And|strong="G2532" one|strong="G1520" of|strong="G1537" them|strong="G1905", a|strong="G2532" lawyer|strong="G3544", asked|strong="G1905" him|strong="G1905" a|strong="G2532" question|strong="G1905", trying|strong="G3985" him|strong="G1905", and|strong="G2532" saying,
36 Teacher|strong="G1320", which|strong="G3588" is|strong="G3588" the|strong="G1722" great|strong="G3173" commandment|strong="G1785" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" law|strong="G3551"?
