Números 30

ENG-KJV2006

And Moses|strong="H4872" spake|strong="H1696" unto the heads|strong="H7218" of the tribes|strong="H4294" concerning the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", saying|strong="H0559", This is the thing|strong="H1697" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath commanded|strong="H6680".

If a man|strong="H0376" vow|strong="H5087" a vow|strong="H5088" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, or swear|strong="H7650" an oath|strong="H7621" to bind|strong="H0631" his soul|strong="H5315" with a bond|strong="H0632"; he shall not break|strong="H2490" his word|strong="H1697", he shall do|strong="H6213" according to all that proceedeth|strong="H3318" out of his mouth|strong="H6310".

If a woman|strong="H0802" also vow|strong="H5087" a vow|strong="H5088" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and bind|strong="H0631" herself by a bond|strong="H0632", being in her father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004" in her youth|strong="H5271";

And her father|strong="H0001" hear|strong="H8085" her vow|strong="H5088", and her bond|strong="H0632" wherewith she hath bound|strong="H0631" her soul|strong="H5315", and her father|strong="H0001" shall hold his peace|strong="H2790" at her: then all her vows|strong="H5088" shall stand|strong="H6965", and every bond|strong="H0632" wherewith she hath bound|strong="H0631" her soul|strong="H5315" shall stand|strong="H6965".

But if her father|strong="H0001" disallow|strong="H5106" her in the day|strong="H3117" that he heareth|strong="H8085"; not any of her vows|strong="H5088", or of her bonds|strong="H0632" wherewith she hath bound|strong="H0631" her soul|strong="H5315", shall stand|strong="H6965": and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall forgive|strong="H5545" her, because her father|strong="H0001" disallowed|strong="H5106" her.

And if she had at all an husband|strong="H0376", when she vowed|strong="H5088", or uttered|strong="H4008" ought out of her lips|strong="H8193", wherewith she bound|strong="H0631" her soul|strong="H5315";

And her husband|strong="H0376" heard|strong="H8085" it, and held his peace|strong="H2790" at her in the day|strong="H3117" that he heard|strong="H8085" it: then her vows|strong="H5088" shall stand|strong="H6965", and her bonds|strong="H0632" wherewith she bound|strong="H0631" her soul|strong="H5315" shall stand|strong="H6965".

But if her husband|strong="H0376" disallowed|strong="H5106" her on the day|strong="H3117" that he heard|strong="H8085" it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed|strong="H5088", and that which she uttered|strong="H4008" with her lips|strong="H8193", wherewith she bound|strong="H0631" her soul|strong="H5315", of none effect|strong="H6565": and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall forgive|strong="H5545" her.

But every vow|strong="H5088" of a widow|strong="H0490", and of her that is divorced|strong="H1644", wherewith they have bound|strong="H0631" their souls|strong="H5315", shall stand|strong="H6965" against her.

And if she vowed|strong="H5087" in her husband’s|strong="H0376" house|strong="H1004", or bound|strong="H0631" her soul|strong="H5315" by a bond|strong="H0632" with an oath|strong="H7621";

And her husband|strong="H0376" heard|strong="H8085" it, and held his peace|strong="H2790" at her, and disallowed|strong="H5106" her not: then all her vows|strong="H5088" shall stand|strong="H6965", and every bond|strong="H0632" wherewith she bound|strong="H0631" her soul|strong="H5315" shall stand|strong="H6965".

But if her husband|strong="H0376" hath utterly|strong="H6565" made them void|strong="H6565" on the day|strong="H3117" he heard|strong="H8085" them; then whatsoever proceeded|strong="H4161" out of her lips|strong="H8193" concerning her vows|strong="H5088", or concerning the bond|strong="H0632" of her soul|strong="H5315", shall not stand|strong="H6965": her husband|strong="H0376" hath made them void|strong="H6565"; and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall forgive|strong="H5545" her.

Every vow|strong="H5088", and every binding|strong="H0632" oath|strong="H7621" to afflict|strong="H6031" the soul|strong="H5315", her husband|strong="H0376" may establish|strong="H6965" it, or her husband|strong="H0376" may make it void|strong="H6565".

But if her husband|strong="H0376" altogether|strong="H2790" hold his peace|strong="H2790" at her from day|strong="H3117" to day|strong="H3117"; then he establisheth|strong="H6965" all her vows|strong="H5088", or all her bonds|strong="H0632", which are upon her: he confirmeth|strong="H6965" them, because he held his peace|strong="H2790" at her in the day|strong="H3117" that he heard|strong="H8085" them.

But if he shall any ways|strong="H6565" make them void|strong="H6565" after|strong="H0310" that he hath heard|strong="H8085" them; then he shall bear|strong="H5375" her iniquity|strong="H5771".

These are the statutes|strong="H2706", which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* commanded|strong="H6680" Moses|strong="H4872", between a man|strong="H0376" and his wife|strong="H0802", between the father|strong="H0001" and his daughter|strong="H1323", being yet in her youth|strong="H5271" in her father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004".
