2 Take|strong="H5375" the sum|strong="H7218" of all the congregation|strong="H5712" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", from twenty|strong="H6242" years|strong="H8141" old|strong="H1121" and upward|strong="H4605", throughout their fathers’|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004", all that are able to go|strong="H3318" to war|strong="H6635" in Israel|strong="H3478".
3 And Moses|strong="H4872" and Eleazar|strong="H0499" the priest|strong="H3548" spake|strong="H1696" with them in the plains|strong="H6160" of Moab|strong="H4124" by Jordan|strong="H3383" near Jericho|strong="H3405", saying|strong="H0559",
4 Take the sum of the people, from twenty|strong="H6242" years|strong="H8141" old|strong="H1121" and upward|strong="H4605"; as the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* commanded|strong="H6680" Moses|strong="H4872" and the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", which went forth|strong="H3318" out of the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".
5 Reuben|strong="H7205", the eldest|strong="H1060" son of Israel|strong="H3478": the children|strong="H1121" of Reuben|strong="H7205"; Hanoch|strong="H2585", of whom cometh the family|strong="H4940" of the Hanochites|strong="H2599": of Pallu|strong="H6396", the family|strong="H4940" of the Palluites|strong="H6384":

This is that Dathan|strong="H1885" and Abiram|strong="H0048", which were famous|strong="H7148" in the congregation|strong="H5712", who strove|strong="H5327" against Moses|strong="H4872" and against Aaron|strong="H0175" in the company|strong="H5712" of Korah|strong="H7141", when they strove|strong="H5327" against the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*:
10 And the earth|strong="H0776" opened|strong="H6605" her mouth|strong="H6310", and swallowed them up|strong="H1104" together with Korah|strong="H7141", when that company|strong="H5712" died|strong="H4194", what time the fire|strong="H0784" devoured|strong="H0398" two hundred|strong="H3967" and fifty|strong="H2572" men|strong="H0376": and they became a sign|strong="H5251".
11 Notwithstanding the children|strong="H1121" of Korah|strong="H7141" died|strong="H4191" not.

53 Unto these the land|strong="H0776" shall be divided|strong="H2505" for an inheritance|strong="H5159" according to the number|strong="H4557" of names|strong="H8034".
54 To many|strong="H7227" thou shalt give the more|strong="H7235" inheritance|strong="H5159", and to few|strong="H4592" thou shalt give the less|strong="H4591" inheritance|strong="H5159": to every one|strong="H0376" shall his inheritance|strong="H5159" be given|strong="H5414" according|strong="H6310" to those that were numbered|strong="H6485" of him.
55 Notwithstanding the land|strong="H0776" shall be divided|strong="H2505" by lot|strong="H1486": according to the names|strong="H8034" of the tribes|strong="H4294" of their fathers|strong="H0001" they shall inherit|strong="H5157".
56 According|strong="H6310" to the lot|strong="H1486" shall the possession|strong="H5159" thereof be divided|strong="H2505" between many|strong="H7227" and few|strong="H4592".

59 And the name|strong="H8034" of Amram’s|strong="H6019" wife|strong="H0802" was Jochebed|strong="H3115", the daughter|strong="H1323" of Levi|strong="H3878", whom her mother bare|strong="H3205" to Levi|strong="H3878" in Egypt|strong="H4714": and she bare|strong="H3205" unto Amram|strong="H6019" Aaron|strong="H0175" and Moses|strong="H4872", and Miriam|strong="H4813" their sister|strong="H0269".
60 And unto Aaron|strong="H0175" was born|strong="H3205" Nadab|strong="H5070", and Abihu|strong="H0030", Eleazar|strong="H0499", and Ithamar|strong="H0385".
61 And Nadab|strong="H5070" and Abihu|strong="H0030" died|strong="H4191", when they offered|strong="H7126" strange|strong="H2114" fire|strong="H0784" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
62 And those that were numbered|strong="H6485" of them were twenty|strong="H6242" and three|strong="H7969" thousand|strong="H0505", all males|strong="H2145" from a month|strong="H2320" old|strong="H1121" and upward|strong="H4605": for they were not numbered|strong="H6485" among|strong="H8432" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", because there was no inheritance|strong="H5159" given|strong="H5414" them among|strong="H8432" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478".
63 These are they that were numbered|strong="H6485" by Moses|strong="H4872" and Eleazar|strong="H0499" the priest|strong="H3548", who numbered|strong="H6485" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" in the plains|strong="H6160" of Moab|strong="H4124" by Jordan|strong="H3383" near Jericho|strong="H3405".
64 But among these there was not a man|strong="H0376" of them whom Moses|strong="H4872" and Aaron|strong="H0175" the priest|strong="H3548" numbered|strong="H6485", when they numbered|strong="H6485" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" in the wilderness|strong="H4057" of Sinai|strong="H5514".
65 For the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had said|strong="H0559" of them, They shall surely|strong="H4191" die|strong="H4191" in the wilderness|strong="H4057". And there was not left|strong="H3498" a man|strong="H0376" of them, save Caleb|strong="H3612" the son|strong="H1121" of Jephunneh|strong="H3312", and Joshua|strong="H3091" the son|strong="H1121" of Nun|strong="H5126".
