1 And the whole congregation|strong="H5712" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" assembled together|strong="H6950" at Shiloh|strong="H7887", and set up|strong="H7931" the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150" there. And the land|strong="H0776" was subdued|strong="H3533" before|strong="H6440" them.
2 And there remained|strong="H3498" among the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" seven|strong="H7651" tribes|strong="H7626", which had not yet received|strong="H2505" their inheritance|strong="H5159".
3 And Joshua|strong="H3091" said|strong="H0559" unto the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", How long are ye slack|strong="H7503" to go|strong="H0935" to possess|strong="H3423" the land|strong="H0776", which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of your fathers|strong="H0001" hath given|strong="H5414" you?
4 Give out|strong="H3051" from among you three|strong="H7969" men|strong="H0582" for each tribe|strong="H7626": and I will send|strong="H7971" them, and they shall rise|strong="H6965", and go|strong="H1980" through the land|strong="H0776", and describe|strong="H3789" it according|strong="H6310" to the inheritance|strong="H5159" of them; and they shall come|strong="H0935" again to me.
5 And they shall divide|strong="H2505" it into seven|strong="H7651" parts|strong="H2506": Judah|strong="H3063" shall abide|strong="H5975" in their coast|strong="H1366" on the south|strong="H5045", and the house|strong="H1004" of Joseph|strong="H3130" shall abide|strong="H5975" in their coasts|strong="H1366" on the north|strong="H6828".
6 Ye shall therefore describe|strong="H3789" the land|strong="H0776" into seven|strong="H7651" parts|strong="H2506", and bring|strong="H0935" the description hither to me, that I may cast|strong="H3384" lots|strong="H1486" for you here before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* our God|strong="H0430".
7 But the Levites|strong="H3881" have no part|strong="H2506" among|strong="H7130" you; for the priesthood|strong="H3550" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is their inheritance|strong="H5159": and Gad|strong="H1410", and Reuben|strong="H7205", and half|strong="H2677" the tribe|strong="H7626" of Manasseh|strong="H4519", have received|strong="H3947" their inheritance|strong="H5159" beyond|strong="H5676" Jordan|strong="H3383" on the east|strong="H4217", which Moses|strong="H4872" the servant|strong="H5650" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* gave|strong="H5414" them.
8 And the men|strong="H0582" arose|strong="H6965", and went away|strong="H3212": and Joshua|strong="H3091" charged|strong="H6680" them that went|strong="H1980" to describe|strong="H3789" the land|strong="H0776", saying|strong="H0559", Go|strong="H3212" and walk|strong="H1980" through the land|strong="H0776", and describe|strong="H3789" it, and come again|strong="H7725" to me, that I may here cast|strong="H7993" lots|strong="H1486" for you before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* in Shiloh|strong="H7887".
9 And the men|strong="H0582" went|strong="H3212" and passed through|strong="H5674" the land|strong="H0776", and described|strong="H3789" it by cities|strong="H5892" into seven|strong="H7651" parts|strong="H2506" in a book|strong="H5612", and came|strong="H0935" again to Joshua|strong="H3091" to the host|strong="H4264" at Shiloh|strong="H7887".
10 And Joshua|strong="H3091" cast|strong="H7993" lots|strong="H1486" for them in Shiloh|strong="H7887" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: and there Joshua|strong="H3091" divided|strong="H2505" the land|strong="H0776" unto the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" according to their divisions|strong="H4256".
11 And the lot|strong="H1486" of the tribe|strong="H4294" of the children|strong="H1121" of Benjamin|strong="H1144" came up|strong="H5927" according to their families|strong="H4940": and the coast|strong="H1366" of their lot|strong="H1486" came forth|strong="H3318" between the children|strong="H1121" of Judah|strong="H3063" and the children|strong="H1121" of Joseph|strong="H3130".
12 And their border|strong="H1366" on the north|strong="H6828" side|strong="H6285" was from Jordan|strong="H3383"; and the border|strong="H1366" went up|strong="H5927" to the side|strong="H3802" of Jericho|strong="H3405" on the north|strong="H6828" side, and went up|strong="H5927" through the mountains|strong="H2022" westward|strong="H3220"; and the goings out|strong="H8444" thereof were at the wilderness|strong="H4057" of Beth-aven|strong="H1007".
13 And the border|strong="H1366" went over|strong="H5674" from thence toward Luz|strong="H3870", to the side|strong="H3802" of Luz|strong="H3870", which is Beth-el|strong="H1008", southward|strong="H5045"; and the border|strong="H1366" descended|strong="H3381" to Ataroth-adar|strong="H5853", near the hill|strong="H2022" that lieth on the south side|strong="H5045" of the nether|strong="H8481" Beth-horon|strong="H1032".
14 And the border|strong="H1366" was drawn|strong="H8388" thence, and compassed|strong="H5437" the corner|strong="H6285" of the sea|strong="H3220" southward|strong="H5045", from the hill|strong="H2022" that lieth before|strong="H6440" Beth-horon|strong="H1032" southward|strong="H5045"; and the goings out|strong="H8444" thereof were at Kirjath-baal|strong="H7154", which is Kirjath-jearim|strong="H7157", a city|strong="H5892" of the children|strong="H1121" of Judah|strong="H3063": this was the west|strong="H3220" quarter|strong="H6285".
15 And the south|strong="H5045" quarter|strong="H6285" was from the end|strong="H7097" of Kirjath-jearim|strong="H7157", and the border|strong="H1366" went out|strong="H3318" on the west|strong="H3220", and went out|strong="H3318" to the well|strong="H4599" of waters|strong="H4325" of Nephtoah|strong="H5318":
16 And the border|strong="H1366" came down|strong="H3381" to the end|strong="H7097" of the mountain|strong="H2022" that lieth before|strong="H6440" the valley|strong="H1516" of the son|strong="H1121" of Hinnom|strong="H2011", and which is in the valley|strong="H6010" of the giants|strong="H7497" on the north|strong="H6828", and descended|strong="H3381" to the valley|strong="H1516" of Hinnom|strong="H2011", to the side|strong="H3802" of Jebusi|strong="H2983" on the south|strong="H5045", and descended|strong="H3381" to En-rogel|strong="H5883",
17 And was drawn|strong="H8388" from the north|strong="H6828", and went forth|strong="H3318" to En-shemesh|strong="H5885", and went forth|strong="H3318" toward Geliloth|strong="H1553", which is over against|strong="H5227" the going up|strong="H4608" of Adummim|strong="H0131", and descended|strong="H3381" to the stone|strong="H0068" of Bohan|strong="H0932" the son|strong="H1121" of Reuben|strong="H7205",
18 And passed along|strong="H5674" toward the side|strong="H3802" over against|strong="H4136" Arabah|strong="H6160" northward|strong="H6828", and went down|strong="H3381" unto Arabah|strong="H6160":
19 And the border|strong="H1366" passed along|strong="H5674" to the side|strong="H3802" of Beth-hoglah|strong="H1031" northward|strong="H6828": and the outgoings|strong="H8444" of the border|strong="H1366" were at the north|strong="H6828" bay|strong="H3956" of the salt|strong="H4417" sea|strong="H3220" at the south|strong="H5045" end|strong="H7097" of Jordan|strong="H3383": this was the south|strong="H5045" coast|strong="H1366".
20 And Jordan|strong="H3383" was the border|strong="H1379" of it on the east|strong="H6924" side|strong="H6285". This was the inheritance|strong="H5159" of the children|strong="H1121" of Benjamin|strong="H1144", by the coasts|strong="H1367" thereof round about|strong="H5439", according to their families|strong="H4940".
21 Now the cities|strong="H5892" of the tribe|strong="H4294" of the children|strong="H1121" of Benjamin|strong="H1144" according to their families|strong="H4940" were Jericho|strong="H3405", and Beth-hoglah|strong="H1031", and the valley|strong="H6010" of Keziz|strong="H7104",

23 And Avim|strong="H5761", and Parah|strong="H6511", and Ophrah|strong="H6084",
24 And Chephar-haammonai|strong="H3726", and Ophni|strong="H6078", and Gaba|strong="H1387"; twelve|strong="H8147" cities|strong="H5892" with their villages|strong="H2691":
25 Gibeon|strong="H1391", and Ramah|strong="H7414", and Beeroth|strong="H0881",
26 And Mizpeh|strong="H4708", and Chephirah|strong="H3716", and Mozah|strong="H4681",
27 And Rekem|strong="H7552", and Irpeel|strong="H3416", and Taralah|strong="H8634",

This is the inheritance|strong="H5159" of the children|strong="H1121" of Benjamin|strong="H1144" according to their families|strong="H4940".
