3 whose adorning let it not be that outward one of tressing of hair, and wearing gold, or putting on apparel;

4 but the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible {ornament} of a meek and quiet spirit, which in the sight of God is of great price.

6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord; whose children ye have become, doing good, and not fearing with any kind of consternation.

7 {Ye} husbands likewise, dwell with {them} according to knowledge, as with a weaker, {even} the female, vessel, giving {them} honour, as also fellow-heirs of {the} grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered.

9 not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing; but on the contrary, blessing {others}, because ye have been called to this, that ye should inherit blessing.
10 Bojũu, “Ala ɩ nɩrɛ nʊ̃n nyɛvʊr na wʊ bʊɔrɔ bɩbivɩɛlsɩ wʊ ir wʊ nɛɛ yin 'yɛrdɛɛr nɩ bɛlfʊ pɔ.
10 For he that will love life and see good days, let him cause his tongue to cease from evil and his lips that they speak no guile.
11 Wʊ lɩɛb puor 'yɔ̃ɔ yelbier tɩ maala vɩla, na wʊ bʊɔrɔ nyã'maar joro turo a wʊ puor.
11 And let him avoid evil, and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it;
12 Bojũu a sɩ Soro kaara naa a bala na tor, na wʊ wõnõ a ba sʊɔrfʊ. Tɩchɛ a sɩ Soro pʊɔ ma sɔ̃ɔ naa nɩ a bala na ma maala yelbier.” (Yiel Gãn 34:12-16)
12 because {the} eyes of {the} Lord {are} on {the} righteous, and his ears towards their supplications; but {the} face of {the} Lord {is} against them that do evil.

13 And who shall injure you if ye have become imitators of that which {is} good?
14 Tɩchɛ ala ɩ yɩ gba din dɔɔyɛ yɩn maala vɩla jũu, Nãaŋmɩn na sʊ̃ʊ yɩ naa. “Yɩ ta joro dãbãɛ nɩ a ba vuurfʊ ɛ. Yɩ taa joro dãbãɛ ɛ,” (Isaiya 8:12)
14 E até sereis felizes, se padecerdes alguma coisa por causa da justiça!
15 Tɩchɛ a yɩ nyãn pɔ, yɩ 'yɔ̃ɔnɔ̃ a Kɩrɩsɩto na ɩ a yɩ Soro. Na yɩ ma chɔɔr sɔ̃ɔ jaa ala ɩ nɩrɛ wa sʊʊr yɩ naa a tɩɛrtɔ 'lɔ yɩn tara, tɩchɛ yɩ ma man naa jomm nɩ 'yɔ̃ɔfʊ,
15 Portanto, não temais as suas ameaças e não vos turbeis. Antes santificai em vossos corações Cristo, o Senhor. Estai sempre prontos a responder para vossa defesa a todo aquele que vos pedir a razão de vossa esperança, mas fazei-o com suavidade e respeito.

16 Tende uma consciência reta a fim de que, mesmo naquilo em que dizem mal de vós, sejam confundidos os que desacreditam o vosso santo procedimento em Cristo.
17 An ɩn vɩla ala ɩ Nãaŋmɩn bɔfʊ lɛ, yɩn di dɔɔyɛ vɩla maalfʊ jũu, gar yɩn na di dɔɔyɛ dɛɛr maalfʊ jũu.
17 Aliás, é melhor padecer, se Deus assim o quiser, por fazer o bem do que por fazer o mal.
18 Bojũu Kɩrɩsɩto kpi naa a yɩ yelbier jũu gbɛbʊ̃'yen tɛɛ, a 'lɔ na tor kʊ a bala na ba tor ɛ, ɩka wʊ waan yɩ Nãaŋmɩn sɛ̃. Ba kʊ naa a wʊ ãgãn, tɩchɛ ka a Nãaŋmɩn Sɩɛ sãɩ wʊ a kũu pɔ,
18 Pois também Cristo morreu uma vez pelos nossos pecados - o Justo pelos injustos - para nos conduzir a Deus. Padeceu a morte em sua carne, mas foi vivificado quanto ao espírito.

20 quando Deus aguardava com paciência, enquanto se edificava a arca, na qual poucas pessoas, isto é, apenas oito se salvaram através da água.

21 Esta água prefigurava o batismo de agora, que vos salva também a vós, não pela purificação das impurezas do corpo, mas pela que consiste em pedir a Deus uma consciência boa, pela ressurreição de Jesus Cristo.
22 'Lɔ lɛ do a saaju tɩ jãnɛ, a Nãaŋmɩn nũsʊ̃ɔ jie ka a malakasɩ, nɩ a tʊ̃ɔfʊ dẽme, nɩ a kpãɛn dẽme ba jaa turo a wʊ nɛɛ.
22 Esse Jesus Cristo, tendo subido ao céu, está assentado à direita de Deus, depois de ter recebido a submissão dos anjos, dos principados e das potestades.
