2 Mercy|strong="G1656", peace|strong="G1515", and|strong="G2532" love be|strong="G2532" multiplied|strong="G4129" to|strong="G2532" you|strong="G5210".
3 Beloved, although|strong="G5210" I|strong="G1473" was|strong="G3588" quite|strong="G3956" eager|strong="G4710" to|strong="G4160" write|strong="G1125" to|strong="G4160" you|strong="G5210" about|strong="G4012" our|strong="G3956" common|strong="G2839" salvation|strong="G4991", I|strong="G1473" found|strong="G2192" it|strong="G4160" necessary to|strong="G4160" write|strong="G1125" to|strong="G4160" you|strong="G5210" and|strong="G4102" urge|strong="G3870" you|strong="G5210" to|strong="G4160" contend|strong="G1864" for|strong="G4012" the|strong="G3956" faith|strong="G4102" that|strong="G3588" was|strong="G3588" once for|strong="G4012" all|strong="G3956" delivered|strong="G3860" to|strong="G4160" the|strong="G3956" saints.
4 For|strong="G1063" certain|strong="G5100" men|strong="G3778" whose|strong="G3588" condemnation|strong="G2917" was|strong="G3588" written|strong="G4270" about|strong="G1519" long|strong="G3819" ago|strong="G3819" have|strong="G2532" crept|strong="G3921" in|strong="G1519" unnoticed|strong="G3921". They|strong="G2532" are|strong="G3588" ungodly men|strong="G3778" who|strong="G3588" pervert the|strong="G2532" grace|strong="G5485" of|strong="G2316" our|strong="G2316" God|strong="G2316", turning|strong="G3346" it|strong="G2532" into|strong="G1519" a|strong="G2532" license for|strong="G1063" sensuality. By|strong="G2532" doing so|strong="G2532", they|strong="G2532" deny|strong="G3588" God|strong="G2316", who|strong="G3588" is|strong="G3588" our|strong="G2316" only|strong="G3441" Master|strong="G2962", and|strong="G2532" also|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547".
5 Now|strong="G1161" I|strong="G1161" want|strong="G1014" to|strong="G1014" remind|strong="G5279" you|strong="G5210", although|strong="G1161" you|strong="G5210" already know|strong="G1492" this|strong="G3588", that|strong="G3754" after|strong="G1161" the|strong="G3956" Lord|strong="G2962" saved|strong="G4982" a|strong="G3708" people|strong="G2992" out|strong="G1537" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G3956" land|strong="G1093" of|strong="G1537" Egypt, he|strong="G1161" subsequently|strong="G1208" destroyed those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" did|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3361" believe|strong="G4100".
6 And|strong="G5037" the|strong="G1519" angels who|strong="G3588" did|strong="G3361" not|strong="G3361" keep|strong="G5083" within their|strong="G1438" proper|strong="G2398" domain, but|strong="G3361" left their|strong="G1438" own|strong="G2398" dwelling|strong="G3613", he|strong="G3588" has|strong="G2920" kept|strong="G5083" under|strong="G5259" darkness|strong="G2217" in|strong="G1519" everlasting chains|strong="G1199" for|strong="G1519" the|strong="G1519" judgment|strong="G2920" of|strong="G5259" the|strong="G1519" great|strong="G3173" day|strong="G2250".
7 Likewise|strong="G2532", Sodom|strong="G4670" and|strong="G2532" Gomorrah|strong="G1116" and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" cities|strong="G4172" around|strong="G4012" them|strong="G3588", who|strong="G3588" indulged|strong="G1608" in|strong="G2532" fornication|strong="G1608" and|strong="G2532" went|strong="G2532" after|strong="G3694" strange|strong="G2087" flesh|strong="G4561" in|strong="G2532" a|strong="G5613" manner|strong="G5158" similar|strong="G3664" to|strong="G2532" those|strong="G3588" angels, serve as|strong="G5613" an|strong="G2532" example|strong="G1164" by|strong="G2532" undergoing|strong="G5254" the|strong="G2532" punishment|strong="G1349" of|strong="G4012" eternal fire|strong="G4442".
8 In|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" same|strong="G3778" way|strong="G3668" these|strong="G3778" ungodly men|strong="G3778", relying on|strong="G1161" their|strong="G2532" dreams, defile|strong="G3392" the|strong="G2532" flesh|strong="G4561", reject authority|strong="G2963", and|strong="G2532" revile glorious|strong="G1391" beings.
9 But|strong="G1161" when|strong="G3753" Michael|strong="G3413" the|strong="G1161" archangel was|strong="G3588" contending|strong="G1252" with|strong="G4012" the|strong="G1161" devil|strong="G1228" and|strong="G1161" disputing|strong="G1256" about|strong="G4012" the|strong="G1161" body|strong="G4983" of|strong="G4012" Moses|strong="G3475", he|strong="G1161" did|strong="G3588" not|strong="G3756" dare|strong="G5111" to|strong="G3004" bring|strong="G3004" a|strong="G1161" reviling judgment|strong="G2920" against|strong="G4012" him|strong="G3588", but|strong="G1161" said|strong="G3004", “May|strong="G3004" the|strong="G1161" Lord|strong="G2962" rebuke|strong="G2008" yoʋ!”
10 Yet|strong="G1161" these|strong="G3778" men|strong="G3778" slander whatever|strong="G3745" they|strong="G1161" do|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756" understand|strong="G1492", and|strong="G1161" they|strong="G1161" are|strong="G3588" corrupted|strong="G5351" by|strong="G1722" what|strong="G3588" they|strong="G1161", like|strong="G5613" irrational beasts|strong="G2226", instinctively|strong="G5447" comprehend|strong="G1492".
11 Woe|strong="G3759" to|strong="G2532" them|strong="G3588"! For|strong="G3754" they|strong="G2532" went|strong="G4198" in|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" way|strong="G3598" of|strong="G2532" Cain|strong="G2535", they|strong="G2532" rushed|strong="G1632" for|strong="G3754" reward|strong="G3408" to|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" error|strong="G4106" of|strong="G2532" Balaam, and|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" perished in|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" rebellion of|strong="G2532" Korah|strong="G2879".
12 These|strong="G3778" men|strong="G3778" are|strong="G1510" hidden|strong="G4694" reefs|strong="G4694" at|strong="G1722" your|strong="G1722" love feasts, feasting|strong="G4910" among|strong="G1722" you|strong="G5210" without|strong="G1438" fear as|strong="G1722" shepherds feeding|strong="G4165" only|strong="G1438" themselves|strong="G1438". They|strong="G3588" are|strong="G1510" clouds|strong="G3507" without|strong="G1438" water, carried|strong="G3911" along|strong="G1722" by|strong="G1722" winds; fruitless trees|strong="G1186" in|strong="G1722" late autumn|strong="G5352", twice|strong="G1364" dead, pulled up|strong="G1722" by|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" roots|strong="G1610".
13 They|strong="G3588" are|strong="G3588" wild waves|strong="G2949" of|strong="G2281" the|strong="G1519" sea|strong="G2281", foaming out|strong="G1438" their|strong="G1438" own|strong="G1438" shameful deeds|strong="G3739"; wayward|strong="G4107" stars, for|strong="G1519" whom|strong="G3739" the|strong="G1519" thick gloom|strong="G2217" of|strong="G2281" darkness|strong="G4655" has|strong="G3739" been reserved|strong="G5083" forever|strong="G1519".

16 These|strong="G3778" men|strong="G3778" are|strong="G1510" grumblers|strong="G1113" and|strong="G2532" complainers|strong="G3202", walking|strong="G4198" according|strong="G2596" to|strong="G2532" their|strong="G2532" own lusts|strong="G1939". They|strong="G2532" speak|strong="G2980" bombastic words|strong="G4750" with|strong="G2532" their|strong="G2532" mouths|strong="G4750", flattering|strong="G2296" others|strong="G3588" for|strong="G2532" their|strong="G2532" own advantage|strong="G5622".
17 But|strong="G1161" you|strong="G5210", beloved, must|strong="G5547" remember|strong="G3403" what|strong="G3588" the|strong="G1161" apostles of|strong="G5259" our|strong="G2424" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547" foretold,
18 how|strong="G3754" they|strong="G3588" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G2596" you|strong="G5210", “In|strong="G1909" the|strong="G1909" end|strong="G2078" times|strong="G5550" there|strong="G3754" will|strong="G1510" be|strong="G1510" scoffers|strong="G1703" who|strong="G3588" walk|strong="G4198" according|strong="G2596" to|strong="G2596" their|strong="G1438" own|strong="G1438" ungodly lusts|strong="G1939".”

22 Have|strong="G2532" mercy on|strong="G2532" some|strong="G3739", using discernment;

24 Now|strong="G1161" to|strong="G2532" him|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" is|strong="G3588" able|strong="G1410" to|strong="G2532" keep|strong="G5442" them|strong="G3588" from|strong="G2532" falling and|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" make|strong="G2476" them|strong="G3588" stand|strong="G2476" unblemished in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" presence|strong="G2714" of|strong="G2532" his|strong="G1722" glory|strong="G1391" with|strong="G1722" great|strong="G2532" joy,
