Speak to|strong="G3361" younger|strong="G3501" men|strong="G3501" as|strong="G5613" brothers,
2 older|strong="G4245" women|strong="G4245" as|strong="G5613" mothers|strong="G3384", and|strong="G3384" younger|strong="G3501" women|strong="G4245" as|strong="G5613" sisters, in|strong="G1722" all|strong="G3956" purity.
3 Honor|strong="G5091" widows|strong="G5503" who|strong="G3588" are|strong="G3588" truly widows|strong="G5503".
4 But|strong="G1161" if|strong="G1487" any|strong="G5100" widow|strong="G5503" has|strong="G2192" children|strong="G5043" or|strong="G2228" grandchildren|strong="G1549", they|strong="G2532" should|strong="G5100" first|strong="G4412" learn|strong="G3129" to|strong="G2532" show|strong="G2192" godliness toward their|strong="G2532" own|strong="G2398" household|strong="G3624" and|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" make|strong="G2532" some|strong="G5100" repayment to|strong="G2532" their|strong="G2532" parents|strong="G4269", for|strong="G1063" this|strong="G3778" is|strong="G1510" acceptable in|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" sight|strong="G1799" of|strong="G2316" God|strong="G2316".

8 But|strong="G1161" if|strong="G1487" anyone|strong="G5100" does|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" provide|strong="G4306" for|strong="G1161" his|strong="G2398" own|strong="G2398" relatives, and|strong="G2532" especially|strong="G3122" for|strong="G1161" those|strong="G3588" of|strong="G2532" his|strong="G2398" own|strong="G2398" household|strong="G3609", he|strong="G2532" has|strong="G4102" denied the|strong="G2532" faith|strong="G4102" and|strong="G2532" is|strong="G1510" worse|strong="G5501" than|strong="G2532" an|strong="G2532" unbeliever.
9 A|strong="G1096" widow|strong="G5503" may be|strong="G1096" put|strong="G1096" on|strong="G1096" the|strong="G3361" list|strong="G2639" to|strong="G1096" receive support if she|strong="G1096" is|strong="G1096" at|strong="G1096" least sixty|strong="G1835" years|strong="G2094" old|strong="G2094", has|strong="G1096" been|strong="G1096" the|strong="G3361" wife|strong="G1135" of|strong="G1520" one|strong="G1520" husband,

11 But|strong="G1161" reject|strong="G3868" younger|strong="G3501" widows|strong="G5503", for|strong="G1063" when|strong="G3752" their|strong="G3588" sensual|strong="G2691" desires|strong="G2309" draw them|strong="G3588" away from|strong="G3588" Christ|strong="G5547", they|strong="G1161" wish|strong="G2309" to|strong="G2309" marry|strong="G1060",
12 thus bringing|strong="G2192" judgment|strong="G2917" on|strong="G4102" themselves because|strong="G3754" they|strong="G3588" have|strong="G2192" broken their|strong="G3588" previous|strong="G4413" pledge|strong="G4102".
13 At|strong="G1161" the|strong="G2532" same|strong="G2532" time, they|strong="G2532" learn|strong="G3129" to|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" idle, wandering about|strong="G4022" from|strong="G2532" house|strong="G3614" to|strong="G2532" house|strong="G3614". And|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" are|strong="G3588" not|strong="G3756" only|strong="G3440" idle, but|strong="G1161" also|strong="G2532" gossips|strong="G5397" and|strong="G2532" busybodies|strong="G4021", saying|strong="G2980" things|strong="G3588" they|strong="G2532" should|strong="G1163" not|strong="G3756" say|strong="G2980".
14 So|strong="G3767" I|strong="G3767" advise the|strong="G3588" younger|strong="G3501" widows to|strong="G1325" marry|strong="G1060", bear|strong="G5041" children|strong="G5041", and|strong="G3767" manage their|strong="G3588" households, so|strong="G3767" as|strong="G3767" to|strong="G1325" give|strong="G1325" the|strong="G3588" adversary no|strong="G3367" opportunity to|strong="G1325" revile us|strong="G1325".
15 For|strong="G1063" some|strong="G5100" have|strong="G5100" already|strong="G2235" turned|strong="G1624" away to|strong="G5100" follow|strong="G3694" Satan|strong="G4567".
16 If|strong="G1487" any|strong="G5100" believing|strong="G4103" man|strong="G5100" or|strong="G2532" woman|strong="G4103" has|strong="G2192" relatives who|strong="G3588" are|strong="G3588" widows|strong="G5503", they|strong="G2532" must|strong="G5100" help them|strong="G3588"; the|strong="G2532" church|strong="G1577" should|strong="G5100" not|strong="G3361" be|strong="G2532" burdened, so|strong="G2443" that|strong="G2443" it|strong="G2532" may|strong="G2532" help those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" are|strong="G3588" truly widows|strong="G5503".
17 Elders|strong="G4245" who|strong="G3588" lead|strong="G2532" well|strong="G2573" should|strong="G3588" be|strong="G2532" considered worthy of|strong="G3056" double|strong="G1362" honor|strong="G5092", especially|strong="G3122" those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" labor|strong="G2872" in|strong="G1722" preaching|strong="G3056" and|strong="G2532" teaching|strong="G1319".
18 For|strong="G1063" the|strong="G2532" Scripture|strong="G1124" says|strong="G3004", “Yoʋ shall|strong="G2532" not|strong="G3756" muzzle|strong="G5392" an|strong="G2532" ox|strong="G1016" while|strong="G2532" it|strong="G2532" is|strong="G3588" threshing,” and|strong="G2532", “\+w The|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w worker|strong="G2040"\+w* \+w is|strong="G3588"\+w* worthy \+w of|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w his|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w wages|strong="G3408"\+w*.”
19 Do|strong="G3361" not|strong="G3361" accept|strong="G3858" an|strong="G2228" accusation|strong="G2724" against|strong="G2596" an|strong="G2228" elder|strong="G4245" unless|strong="G1487" it|strong="G1487" is|strong="G2596" confirmed by|strong="G2596" two|strong="G1417" or|strong="G2228" three|strong="G5140" witnesses|strong="G3144".
20 As|strong="G2532" for|strong="G2532" those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" sin, reprove|strong="G1651" them|strong="G3588" in|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" presence|strong="G1799" of|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956", so|strong="G2443" that|strong="G2443" others|strong="G3062" will|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" afraid to|strong="G2443" follow their|strong="G2532" example.
21 I|strong="G2532" solemnly|strong="G1263" charge|strong="G1263" yoʋ before|strong="G1799" God|strong="G2316" and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" Lord|strong="G3588" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547" and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" chosen|strong="G1588" angels to|strong="G2443" observe|strong="G5442" these|strong="G3778" things|strong="G3778" without|strong="G5565" partiality|strong="G4346", doing|strong="G4160" nothing|strong="G3367" out|strong="G2532" of|strong="G2316" favoritism.

25 In|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" same|strong="G5615" way|strong="G5615", good|strong="G2570" works|strong="G2041" are|strong="G3588" obvious|strong="G4271", and|strong="G2532" even|strong="G2532" those|strong="G3588" that|strong="G3588" are|strong="G3588" not|strong="G3756" obvious|strong="G4271" cannot|strong="G1410" remain hidden|strong="G2928".
