The|strong="G2532" former|strong="G4413" heavens|strong="G3772" and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" former|strong="G4413" earth|strong="G1093" had|strong="G2532" passed|strong="G3588" away; and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" sea|strong="G2281" has|strong="G3708" ceased to|strong="G2532" be|strong="G1510".
2 And|strong="G2532" I|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G3708" the|strong="G2532" Holy City|strong="G4172", Jerusalem|strong="G2419", descending|strong="G2597" new|strong="G2537" out|strong="G1537" of|strong="G1537" heaven|strong="G3772" from|strong="G1537" God|strong="G2316", like|strong="G5613" a|strong="G5613" bride|strong="G3565" adorned|strong="G2885" in|strong="G2532" readiness for|strong="G2532" her|strong="G3708" husband.
3 And|strong="G2532" I|strong="G2532" heard a|strong="G2532" loud|strong="G3173" voice|strong="G5456" from|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" throne|strong="G2362", which|strong="G3588" said|strong="G3004" – “See|strong="G3708"! The|strong="G2532" tent|strong="G4633" of|strong="G1537" God|strong="G2316" is|strong="G1510" set|strong="G2532" up|strong="G2532" among|strong="G1537" people|strong="G2992". God|strong="G2316" will|strong="G2316" live|strong="G2532" among|strong="G1537" them|strong="G3588", and|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" will|strong="G2316" be|strong="G1510" his|strong="G3708" Peoples|strong="G2992", and|strong="G2532" God|strong="G2316" himself will|strong="G2316" be|strong="G1510" among|strong="G1537" them|strong="G3588",
4 and|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" will|strong="G1510" wipe|strong="G1813" away|strong="G1813" all|strong="G3956" tears|strong="G1144" from|strong="G1537" their|strong="G2532" eyes|strong="G3788". There|strong="G2532" will|strong="G1510" be|strong="G1510" no|strong="G3756" more|strong="G2089" death|strong="G2288", nor|strong="G3777" will|strong="G1510" there|strong="G2532" be|strong="G1510" any|strong="G3956" more|strong="G2089" grief|strong="G3997" or|strong="G2532" crying|strong="G2906" or|strong="G2532" pain|strong="G4192". The|strong="G2532" old|strong="G2532" order has|strong="G1510" passed|strong="G3588" away|strong="G1813".”
5 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" who|strong="G3588" was|strong="G1510" seated|strong="G2521" on|strong="G1909" the|strong="G2532" throne|strong="G2362" said|strong="G3004" – “See|strong="G3708", I|strong="G2532" make|strong="G4160" all|strong="G3956" things|strong="G3956" new|strong="G2537"!” And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" – “Write|strong="G1125" this|strong="G3778", for|strong="G3754" these|strong="G3778" words|strong="G3056" may|strong="G2532" be|strong="G1510" trusted and|strong="G2532" are|strong="G1510" true|strong="G4103".”
6 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G2532" me|strong="G1325" – “They|strong="G2532" are|strong="G3588" fulfilled. I|strong="G1473" am|strong="G1473" the|strong="G2532" Alpha and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" Omega|strong="G5598", the|strong="G2532" beginning and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" End|strong="G5056". To|strong="G2532" those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" thirst|strong="G1372" I|strong="G1473" will|strong="G2532" give|strong="G1325" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" spring|strong="G4077" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" water|strong="G5204" of|strong="G1537" life|strong="G2222", freely|strong="G1432".
7 Those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" conquer|strong="G3528" will|strong="G2316" enter into|strong="G2316" possession of|strong="G5207" these|strong="G3778" things|strong="G3778", and|strong="G2532" I|strong="G1473" will|strong="G2316" be|strong="G1510" their|strong="G2532" God|strong="G2316", and|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" will|strong="G2316" be|strong="G1510" my|strong="G1473" children|strong="G5207".
8 But|strong="G1161" as|strong="G1722" for|strong="G1161" cowards, unbelievers, the|strong="G1722" degraded, murderers|strong="G5406", the|strong="G1722" impure, sorcerers|strong="G5333", idolaters|strong="G1496", and|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" liars|strong="G5571" – their|strong="G2532" place|strong="G3313" will|strong="G1510" be|strong="G1510" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" burning|strong="G2545" lake|strong="G3041" of|strong="G2532" fire|strong="G4442" and|strong="G2532" sulphur. That|strong="G3739" is|strong="G1510" the|strong="G1722" Second|strong="G1208" Death|strong="G2288".”
9 Then|strong="G2532" one|strong="G1520" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" seven|strong="G2033" angels who|strong="G3588" had|strong="G2192" the|strong="G2532" seven|strong="G2033" bowls|strong="G5357", and|strong="G2532" were|strong="G3588" laden with|strong="G3326" the|strong="G2532" seven|strong="G2033" last|strong="G2078" curses, came|strong="G2064" and|strong="G2532" spoke|strong="G2980" to|strong="G2532" me|strong="G1473". “Come|strong="G2064" here|strong="G1204",” he|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004", “and|strong="G2532" I|strong="G1473" will|strong="G2532" show|strong="G1166" you|strong="G4771" the|strong="G2532" Bride|strong="G3565", the|strong="G2532" Wife|strong="G1135" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" Lamb|strong="G3004".”

12 It|strong="G2532" had|strong="G2192" a|strong="G2192" great|strong="G3173" high|strong="G5308" wall|strong="G5038", in|strong="G1909" which|strong="G3739" were|strong="G1510" twelve|strong="G1427" gates|strong="G4440"; and|strong="G2532" at|strong="G1909" these|strong="G3739" gates|strong="G4440" there|strong="G2532" were|strong="G1510" twelve|strong="G1427" angels, and|strong="G2532" there|strong="G2532" were|strong="G1510" names|strong="G3686" inscribed on|strong="G1909" the|strong="G2532" gates|strong="G4440", the|strong="G2532" names|strong="G3686" of|strong="G5207" the|strong="G2532" twelve|strong="G1427" tribes|strong="G5443" of|strong="G5207" the|strong="G2532" Israelites.
13 There|strong="G2532" were|strong="G2532" three|strong="G5140" gates|strong="G4440" on|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" east, three|strong="G5140" gates|strong="G4440" on|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" north|strong="G1005", three|strong="G5140" gates|strong="G4440" on|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" south|strong="G3558", and|strong="G2532" three|strong="G5140" gates|strong="G4440" on|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" west|strong="G1424".
14 The|strong="G2532" wall|strong="G5038" of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" city|strong="G4172" had|strong="G2192" twelve|strong="G1427" foundation|strong="G2310" stones|strong="G2310", on|strong="G1909" which|strong="G3588" were|strong="G3588" the|strong="G2532" twelve|strong="G1427" names|strong="G3686" of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" twelve|strong="G1427" apostles of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" Lamb.

21 The|strong="G2532" twelve|strong="G1427" gates|strong="G4440" were|strong="G1510" made of|strong="G1537" twelve|strong="G1427" pearls|strong="G3135", each|strong="G1538" gate|strong="G4440" of|strong="G1537" one|strong="G1520" pearl|strong="G3135". The|strong="G2532" street|strong="G4113" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" city|strong="G4172" was|strong="G1510" of|strong="G1537" pure|strong="G2513" gold|strong="G5553", transparent|strong="G1306" as|strong="G5613" glass|strong="G5194".
22 And|strong="G2532" I|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G3708" no|strong="G3756" Temple|strong="G3485" there|strong="G2532", for|strong="G1063" the|strong="G1722" Lord|strong="G2962", our|strong="G2316" God|strong="G2316", the|strong="G1722" Almighty|strong="G3841", and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G1722" Lamb are|strong="G1510" its Temple|strong="G3485".
23 The|strong="G2532" city|strong="G4172" has|strong="G2192" no|strong="G3756" need|strong="G5532" of|strong="G2316" the|strong="G2532" sun|strong="G2246" or|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" moon|strong="G4582" to|strong="G2443" shine|strong="G5316" on|strong="G2443" it|strong="G2532", for|strong="G1063" the|strong="G2532" glory|strong="G1391" of|strong="G2316" God|strong="G2316" illuminated|strong="G5461" it|strong="G2532", and|strong="G2532" its Lamp|strong="G3088" was|strong="G3588" the|strong="G2532" Lamb.
24 The|strong="G2532" nations|strong="G1484" walk|strong="G4043" by|strong="G1223" the|strong="G2532" light|strong="G5457" of|strong="G1223" it|strong="G2532"; and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" kings|strong="G3588" of|strong="G1223" the|strong="G2532" earth|strong="G1093" bring|strong="G5342" their|strong="G1438" glory|strong="G1391" into|strong="G1519" it|strong="G2532".
25 Its gates|strong="G4440" will|strong="G1510" never|strong="G3756" be|strong="G1510" shut|strong="G2808" by|strong="G2532" day|strong="G2250", and|strong="G2532" there|strong="G1563" will|strong="G1510" be|strong="G1510" no|strong="G3756" night|strong="G3571" there|strong="G1563".
26 And|strong="G2532" people|strong="G1484" will|strong="G2532" bring|strong="G5342" the|strong="G2532" glory|strong="G1391" and|strong="G2532" honour|strong="G5092" of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" nations|strong="G1484" into|strong="G1519" it|strong="G2532".
27 Never|strong="G3756" will|strong="G2532" any|strong="G3956" unhallowed thing|strong="G3956" enter|strong="G1525" it|strong="G2532", nor|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" whose|strong="G3588" life|strong="G2222" is|strong="G3588" shameful and|strong="G2532" false|strong="G5579", but|strong="G2532" only|strong="G1487" those|strong="G3588" whose|strong="G3588" names have|strong="G2532" been|strong="G2532" written|strong="G1125" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" Lamb’s book|strong="G3588" of|strong="G2532" life|strong="G2222".
