2 not|strong="G3361" lightly to|strong="G1519" let your|strong="G1223" minds|strong="G3563" become|strong="G3361" unsettled or|strong="G3366" disturbed|strong="G2360" by|strong="G1223" any|strong="G3361" revelation, or|strong="G3366" by|strong="G1223" any|strong="G3361" message|strong="G3056" or|strong="G3366" letter|strong="G1992" purporting to|strong="G1519" come|strong="G1764" from|strong="G3588" us|strong="G1519", to|strong="G1519" the|strong="G1519" effect|strong="G5613" that|strong="G3754" the|strong="G1519" day|strong="G2250" of|strong="G3056" the|strong="G1519" Lord|strong="G2962" is|strong="G3588" come|strong="G1764".
3 Don’t|strong="G3588" let|strong="G1818" anyone|strong="G5100" deceive|strong="G1818" you|strong="G5210" in|strong="G2596" any|strong="G5100" way|strong="G5158". 8 Then|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" lawless person|strong="G3739" will|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" revealed, but|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" will|strong="G2532" destroy|strong="G2673" him|strong="G3588" with|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" breath|strong="G4151" of|strong="G4151" his|strong="G2532" mouth|strong="G4750", annihilate him|strong="G3588" by|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" splendour of|strong="G4151" his|strong="G2532" coming|strong="G3952".
9 When|strong="G2532" the|strong="G1722" lawless person|strong="G3739" comes|strong="G1510", there|strong="G2532" will|strong="G1510" be|strong="G1510" great|strong="G3956" activity|strong="G1753" on|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" part|strong="G2596" of|strong="G2532" Satan|strong="G4567", in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" form|strong="G3956" of|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" kinds|strong="G3956" of|strong="G2532" deceptive miracles|strong="G1411", signs|strong="G4592", and|strong="G2532" marvels, as|strong="G1722" well|strong="G2532" as|strong="G1722" of|strong="G2532" wicked|strong="G3588" attempts to|strong="G2532" delude –
10 to|strong="G1519" the|strong="G1722" ruin of|strong="G2532" those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3739" are|strong="G3588" on|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" path to|strong="G1519" destruction, because|strong="G1722" they|strong="G2532" have|strong="G2532" never|strong="G3756" received|strong="G1209" and|strong="G2532" loved the|strong="G1722" truth to|strong="G1519" their|strong="G1438" own|strong="G1438" salvation|strong="G4982".
11 That|strong="G3588" is|strong="G3588" why|strong="G1223" God|strong="G2316" places them|strong="G3588" under|strong="G1223" the|strong="G2532" influence|strong="G1753" of|strong="G1223" a|strong="G2532" delusion|strong="G4106", to|strong="G1519" cause|strong="G1223" them|strong="G3588" to|strong="G1519" believe|strong="G4100" a|strong="G2532" lie|strong="G5579";
12 so|strong="G2443" that|strong="G2443" sentence may|strong="G2443" be|strong="G3361" passed|strong="G3588" on|strong="G2919" all|strong="G3956" those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" refuse to|strong="G2443" believe|strong="G4100" the|strong="G3956" truth, but|strong="G3361" delight in|strong="G3956" wickedness.
