O Lord, God of vengeance,
Arise, O Judge of the earth.
How long, O Lord, will wicked people triumph?
They ramble.
They crush your people, O Lord.
They kill widows and foreigners, and they murder orphans.
They say, “The Lord doesn’t see it.
Pay attention, you stupid people!
God created ears.
He disciplines nations.
The Lord knows that people’s thoughts are pointless.
O Lord, blessed is the person
You give him peace and quiet from times of trouble
The Lord will never desert his people
The decisions of judges will again become fair,
Who will stand up for me against evildoers?
If the Lord had not come to help me,
When I said, “My feet are slipping,”
When I worried about many things,
Are wicked rulers who use the law to do unlawful things
They join forces to take the lives of righteous people.
The Lord has become my stronghold.
He has turned their own wickedness against them.
