Provérbios 4

ENGGW

Sons,

After all, I have taught you well.

When I was a boy ⌞learning⌟ from my father,

they used to teach me and say to me,

Acquire wisdom.

Do not abandon wisdom, and it will watch over you.

The beginning of wisdom is to acquire wisdom.

Cherish wisdom.

It will give you a graceful garland for your head.

My son,

I have taught you the way of wisdom.

When you walk, your stride will not be hampered.

Cling to discipline.

Do not stray onto the path of wicked people.

Avoid it.

Wicked people cannot sleep

They eat food obtained through wrongdoing

But the path of righteous people is like the light of dawn

The way of wicked people is like deep darkness.

My son,

Do not lose sight of these things.

because they are life to those who find them

Guard your heart more than anything else,

Remove dishonesty from your mouth.

Let your eyes look straight ahead

Carefully walk a straight path,

Do not lean to the right or to the left.
