2 Very|strong="G3029" early|strong="G4404" on|strong="G1909" that|strong="G1909" day|strong="G4521", the|strong="G3588" first|strong="G1520" day|strong="G4521" of|strong="G1909" the|strong="G3588" week|strong="G4521", the|strong="G3588" women were|strong="G3588" going|strong="G2064" to|strong="G1909" the|strong="G3588" tomb|strong="G3419". 4 Then|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3588" women looked|strong="G0308" and|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G2334" that|strong="G3754" the|strong="G3588" stone|strong="G3037" was|strong="G1510" moved. They|strong="G0846" left|strong="G1831" the|strong="G3956" tomb|strong="G3419" and|strong="G2532" ran|strong="G5343" away|strong="G1821". 9 Jesus|strong="G0450" rose|strong="G0450" from|strong="G0575" death early|strong="G4404" on|strong="G0575" the|strong="G3588" first|strong="G4413" day|strong="G4521" of|strong="G0575" the|strong="G3588" week|strong="G4521". He|strong="G3739" appeared|strong="G5316" first|strong="G4413" to|strong="G3844" Mary|strong="G3137" Magdalene|strong="G3094". 11 But|strong="G2532" Mary|strong="G0191" told them|strong="G0846" that|strong="G3754" Jesus|strong="G0846" was|strong="G0846" alive|strong="G2198". She|strong="G0846" said|strong="G2532" that|strong="G3754" she|strong="G0846" had|strong="G3748" seen|strong="G2300" Jesus|strong="G0846", but|strong="G2532" they|strong="G0846" did|strong="G0191" not|strong="G2532" believe|strong="G0569" her|strong="G0846".
12 Later|strong="G3326", Jesus|strong="G0846" appeared|strong="G5319" to|strong="G1519" two|strong="G1417" followers while|strong="G1722" they|strong="G0846" were|strong="G3778" walking|strong="G4043" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" country|strong="G0068". But|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G0846" did|strong="G4043" not|strong="G3778" look the|strong="G1722" same|strong="G0846" as|strong="G1519" before|strong="G1722" he|strong="G0846" was|strong="G0846" killed.
13 These|strong="G3588" followers went|strong="G0565" back|strong="G0565" to|strong="G0518" the|strong="G3588" other|strong="G3062" followers and|strong="G0565" told|strong="G0518" them|strong="G1565" what|strong="G3588" happened|strong="G3588". Again, the|strong="G3588" followers did|strong="G3761" not|strong="G3761" believe|strong="G4100" them|strong="G1565".
14 Later|strong="G5305", Jesus|strong="G0846" appeared|strong="G5319" to|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3588" eleven|strong="G1733" followers while|strong="G0846" they|strong="G0846" were|strong="G3588" eating. He|strong="G2532" criticized them|strong="G0846" because|strong="G3754" they|strong="G0846" had|strong="G3748" so|strong="G2532" little faith|strong="G4100". They|strong="G0846" were|strong="G3588" stubborn and|strong="G2532" refused|strong="G3756" to|strong="G2532" believe|strong="G4100" the|strong="G3588" people|strong="G0846" who|strong="G3588" said|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G0846" had|strong="G3748" risen|strong="G1453" from|strong="G2532" death.
15 He|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G1519" them|strong="G0846", “Go|strong="G4198" everywhere in|strong="G1519" the|strong="G3956" world|strong="G2889". Tell|strong="G3004" the|strong="G3956" Good|strong="G2098" News|strong="G2098" to|strong="G1519" everyone|strong="G3956".
16 Whoever|strong="G3588" believes|strong="G4100" and|strong="G2532" is|strong="G3588" baptized|strong="G0907" will|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" saved|strong="G4982". But|strong="G1161" those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" do|strong="G4100" not|strong="G2532" believe|strong="G4100" will|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" judged guilty.
17 And|strong="G1161" the|strong="G3588" people|strong="G3778" who|strong="G3588" believe|strong="G4100" will|strong="G3778" be|strong="G3778" able to|strong="G1722" do|strong="G4100" these|strong="G3778" things|strong="G3778" as|strong="G1722" proof: They|strong="G1161" will|strong="G3778" use my|strong="G1722" name|strong="G3686" to|strong="G1722" force demons|strong="G1140" out|strong="G1544" of|strong="G3686" people|strong="G3778". They|strong="G1161" will|strong="G3778" speak|strong="G2980" in|strong="G1722" languages|strong="G1100" they|strong="G1161" never learned.
18 If|strong="G2579" they|strong="G0846" pick|strong="G0142" up|strong="G0142" snakes|strong="G3789" or|strong="G2532" drink|strong="G4095" any|strong="G5100" poison|strong="G2286", they|strong="G0846" will|strong="G5100" not|strong="G3756" be|strong="G2532" hurt|strong="G0984". They|strong="G0846" will|strong="G5100" lay|strong="G2007" their|strong="G0846" hands|strong="G5495" on|strong="G1909" sick|strong="G0732" people|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" they|strong="G0846" will|strong="G5100" get|strong="G0142" well|strong="G2573".”
19 After|strong="G3326" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G2980" these|strong="G3588" things|strong="G0846" to|strong="G1519" his|strong="G0846" followers, he|strong="G2532" was|strong="G2424" carried up|strong="G0353" into|strong="G1519" heaven|strong="G3772". There, Jesus|strong="G2424" sat|strong="G2523" at|strong="G1519" the|strong="G3588" right|strong="G1188" side of|strong="G1537" God|strong="G2316".
20 The|strong="G3588" followers went|strong="G1831" everywhere|strong="G3837" in|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3588" world telling people|strong="G3588" the|strong="G3588" Good News|strong="G3056", and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962" helped them|strong="G1565". By|strong="G1223" giving them|strong="G1565" power to|strong="G2532" do|strong="G2532" miracles the|strong="G3588" Lord|strong="G2962" proved that|strong="G1565" their|strong="G2532" message|strong="G3056" was|strong="G3588" true.
