2 Surely you|strong="G5210" know that|strong="G0191" God|strong="G2316" gave|strong="G1325" me|strong="G1325" this|strong="G3588" work|strong="G5485" through his|strong="G0191" grace|strong="G5485" to|strong="G1519" help you|strong="G5210".
3 God let me|strong="G1473" know|strong="G1107" his|strong="G3754" secret plan by|strong="G1722" showing it|strong="G1107" to|strong="G2596" me|strong="G1473". I|strong="G1473" have|strong="G1473" already written|strong="G4270" a|strong="G1722" little|strong="G3641" about|strong="G1722" this|strong="G3588".
4 And|strong="G5547" if you|strong="G3739" read|strong="G0314" what|strong="G3739" I|strong="G1473" wrote, you|strong="G3739" can|strong="G1410" see|strong="G3539" that|strong="G3739" I|strong="G1473" understand|strong="G3539" the|strong="G3588" secret truth about|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547".
5 People|strong="G0444" who|strong="G3739" lived in|strong="G1722" other|strong="G2087" times|strong="G1074" were|strong="G3739" not|strong="G3756" told that|strong="G3739" secret truth. But|strong="G2532" now|strong="G3568", through|strong="G1722" the|strong="G3588" Spirit|strong="G4151", God|strong="G0846" has|strong="G3739" made|strong="G1107" it|strong="G0846" known|strong="G1107" to|strong="G2532" his|strong="G0846" holy|strong="G0040" apostles|strong="G0652" and|strong="G2532" prophets|strong="G4396".
6 And|strong="G2532" this|strong="G3588" is|strong="G1510" the|strong="G3588" secret truth: that|strong="G1510" by|strong="G1722" hearing the|strong="G3588" Good|strong="G1510" News|strong="G2098", those|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" are|strong="G1510" not|strong="G1510" Jews will|strong="G1510" share with|strong="G1722" the|strong="G3588" Jews in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G3588" blessings God has|strong="G5547" for|strong="G1223" his|strong="G1223" people|strong="G1484". They|strong="G2532" are|strong="G1510" part of|strong="G1223" the|strong="G3588" same|strong="G2532" body|strong="G4954", and|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" share in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G3588" promise|strong="G1860" God made through|strong="G1223" Christ|strong="G5547" Jesus|strong="G2424".
7 By|strong="G2596" God’s|strong="G2316" special gift|strong="G1431" of|strong="G2316" grace|strong="G5485", I|strong="G1473" became|strong="G1096" a|strong="G1096" servant|strong="G1249" to|strong="G2596" tell that|strong="G3739" Good News. He|strong="G0846" gave|strong="G1325" me|strong="G1325" that|strong="G3739" grace|strong="G5485" by|strong="G2596" using his|strong="G0846" power|strong="G1411".
8 I|strong="G1473" am|strong="G1473" the|strong="G3956" least|strong="G1646" important of|strong="G5485" all|strong="G3956" God’s people|strong="G1484". But|strong="G3778" he|strong="G3778" gave|strong="G1325" me|strong="G1325" this|strong="G3778" gift|strong="G5485"—to|strong="G1325" tell the|strong="G3956" non-Jewish people|strong="G1484" the|strong="G3956" Good|strong="G2097" News|strong="G2097" about|strong="G3588" the|strong="G3956" riches|strong="G4149" Christ|strong="G5547" has|strong="G5547". These|strong="G3778" riches|strong="G4149" are|strong="G3956" too great|strong="G3956" to|strong="G1325" understand fully.
9 And|strong="G2532" God|strong="G2316" gave me the|strong="G3956" work of|strong="G0575" telling all|strong="G3956" people|strong="G3956" about|strong="G1722" the|strong="G3956" plan for|strong="G1722" his|strong="G3956" secret truth. That|strong="G3956" secret truth has|strong="G2316" been|strong="G2532" hidden|strong="G0613" in|strong="G1722" him|strong="G2532" since|strong="G0575" the|strong="G3956" beginning|strong="G0165" of|strong="G0575" time|strong="G0165". He|strong="G2532" is|strong="G2316" the|strong="G3956" one|strong="G3588" who|strong="G3588" created|strong="G2936" everything|strong="G3956".
10 His|strong="G1223" purpose was|strong="G3588" that|strong="G2443" all|strong="G3588" the|strong="G3588" rulers|strong="G0746" and|strong="G2532" powers|strong="G1849" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G3588" heavenly|strong="G2032" places will|strong="G2316" now|strong="G3568" know|strong="G1107" the|strong="G3588" many different ways he|strong="G2532" shows his|strong="G1223" wisdom|strong="G4678". They|strong="G2532" will|strong="G2316" know|strong="G1107" this|strong="G3588" because|strong="G1223" of|strong="G1223" the|strong="G3588" church|strong="G1577".
11 This|strong="G3588" agrees with|strong="G1722" the|strong="G3588" plan God|strong="G4160" had|strong="G2424" since|strong="G2596" the|strong="G3588" beginning|strong="G0165" of|strong="G2962" time|strong="G0165". He|strong="G3739" did|strong="G4160" what|strong="G3739" he|strong="G3739" planned, and|strong="G0165" he|strong="G3739" did|strong="G4160" it|strong="G4160" through|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547" Jesus|strong="G2424" our|strong="G2424" Lord|strong="G2962".
12 In|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G0846" we|strong="G3739" come before|strong="G1722" God|strong="G0846" with|strong="G1722" freedom and|strong="G2532" without|strong="G2532" fear. We|strong="G3739" can do|strong="G2192" this|strong="G3588" because|strong="G1223" of|strong="G1223" our|strong="G2532" faith|strong="G4102" in|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G0846".
13 So|strong="G1352" I|strong="G1473" ask|strong="G0154" you|strong="G5210" not|strong="G3361" to|strong="G1722" be|strong="G1510" discouraged because|strong="G1722" of|strong="G1391" what|strong="G3588" is|strong="G1510" happening to|strong="G1722" me|strong="G1473". My|strong="G1722" sufferings|strong="G2347" are|strong="G1510" for|strong="G5228" your|strong="G1722" benefit—for|strong="G5228" your|strong="G1722" honor|strong="G1391" and|strong="G1391" glory|strong="G1391".
14 So|strong="G4314" I|strong="G1473" bow|strong="G2578" in|strong="G4314" prayer before|strong="G4314" the|strong="G3588" Father|strong="G3962".
15 Every|strong="G3956" family|strong="G3965" in|strong="G1722" heaven|strong="G3772" and|strong="G2532" on|strong="G1909" earth|strong="G1093" gets its|strong="G3956" true name|strong="G3687" from|strong="G1537" him|strong="G3739".
16 I|strong="G1223" ask the|strong="G3588" Father with|strong="G1223" his|strong="G0846" great glory|strong="G1391" to|strong="G1519" give|strong="G1325" you|strong="G5210" the|strong="G3588" power|strong="G1411" to|strong="G1519" be|strong="G0444" strong|strong="G2901" in|strong="G1519" your|strong="G1223" spirits|strong="G4151". He|strong="G0846" will|strong="G0444" give|strong="G1325" you|strong="G5210" that|strong="G2443" strength|strong="G1411" through|strong="G1223" his|strong="G0846" Spirit|strong="G4151".
17 I|strong="G2532" pray that|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547" will|strong="G2532" live|strong="G2730" in|strong="G1722" your|strong="G2532" hearts|strong="G2588" because|strong="G1223" of|strong="G1223" your|strong="G2532" faith|strong="G4102". I|strong="G2532" pray that|strong="G1722" your|strong="G2532" life will|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" strong in|strong="G1722" love|strong="G0026" and|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" built on|strong="G1722" love|strong="G0026".
18 And|strong="G2532" I|strong="G2532" pray|strong="G2443" that|strong="G2443" you|strong="G1722" and|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" God’s holy|strong="G0040" people|strong="G3956" will|strong="G5101" have|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3956" power to|strong="G2443" understand|strong="G2638" the|strong="G3956" greatness of|strong="G0026" Christ’s love|strong="G0026"—how|strong="G5101" wide, how|strong="G5101" long, how|strong="G5101" high|strong="G5311", and|strong="G2532" how|strong="G5101" deep|strong="G0899" that|strong="G2443" love|strong="G0026" is|strong="G5101".
19 Christ’s|strong="G5547" love|strong="G0026" is|strong="G2316" greater than anyone|strong="G3956" can ever know|strong="G1097", but|strong="G2316" I|strong="G3956" pray|strong="G2443" that|strong="G2443" you|strong="G3956" will|strong="G2316" be|strong="G3956" able to|strong="G1519" know|strong="G1097" that|strong="G2443" love|strong="G0026". Then|strong="G5037" you|strong="G3956" can be|strong="G3956" filled|strong="G4137" with|strong="G2316" everything|strong="G3956" God|strong="G2316" has|strong="G2316" for|strong="G1519" you|strong="G3956".
20 With|strong="G1722" God’s power|strong="G1411" working|strong="G1754" in|strong="G1722" us|strong="G4160", he|strong="G3739" can|strong="G1410" do|strong="G4160" much|strong="G4053", much|strong="G4053" more|strong="G4053" than|strong="G2228" anything|strong="G3956" we|strong="G2249" can|strong="G1410" ask|strong="G0154" or|strong="G2228" think|strong="G3539" of|strong="G1411".
