2 Grace|strong="G5485" and|strong="G2532" peace|strong="G1515" to|strong="G2532" you|strong="G5210" from|strong="G0575" God|strong="G2316" our|strong="G2316" Father|strong="G3962" and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547".
3 Praise|strong="G2129" be|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" the|strong="G3956" God|strong="G2316" and|strong="G2532" Father|strong="G3962" of|strong="G2316" our|strong="G2316" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547". In|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547", God|strong="G2316" has|strong="G2316" given us|strong="G1722" every|strong="G3956" spiritual|strong="G4152" blessing|strong="G2129" in|strong="G1722" heaven|strong="G2032".

5 And|strong="G2424" before|strong="G1519" the|strong="G3588" world was|strong="G2424" made, God|strong="G0846" decided to|strong="G1519" make us|strong="G1519" his|strong="G0846" own|strong="G0846" children through|strong="G1223" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547". This|strong="G3588" was|strong="G2424" what|strong="G3588" God|strong="G0846" wanted, and|strong="G2424" it|strong="G0846" pleased|strong="G2107" him|strong="G0846" to|strong="G1519" do it|strong="G0846".
6 And|strong="G1391" this|strong="G3588" brings|strong="G1519" praise|strong="G1868" to|strong="G1519" God|strong="G0846" because|strong="G1722" of|strong="G5485" his|strong="G0846" wonderful grace|strong="G5485". 7 In|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G0846" we|strong="G3739" are|strong="G3739" made free by|strong="G1722" his|strong="G0846" blood|strong="G0129" sacrifice. We|strong="G3739" have|strong="G2192" forgiveness|strong="G0859" of|strong="G1223" sins|strong="G3900" because|strong="G1223" of|strong="G1223" God’s|strong="G0846" rich|strong="G2192" grace|strong="G5485".
8 God gave us|strong="G1519" that|strong="G3739" grace fully and|strong="G2532" freely. With|strong="G1722" full|strong="G3956" wisdom|strong="G4678" and|strong="G2532" understanding
9 he|strong="G0846" let us|strong="G1722" know|strong="G1107" his|strong="G0846" secret plan. This|strong="G3588" was|strong="G3739" what|strong="G3739" God|strong="G0846" wanted, and|strong="G0846" he|strong="G0846" planned|strong="G4388" to|strong="G2596" do it|strong="G0846" through|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G0846".

11 In|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G0846" we|strong="G3739" were|strong="G3956" chosen to|strong="G2596" be|strong="G2532" God’s|strong="G0846" people|strong="G3956". God|strong="G0846" had|strong="G3739" already planned for|strong="G1722" us|strong="G1722" to|strong="G2596" be|strong="G2532" his|strong="G0846" people|strong="G3956", because|strong="G1722" that|strong="G3739" is|strong="G3739" what|strong="G3739" he|strong="G2532" wanted. And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" is|strong="G3739" the|strong="G3956" one|strong="G3739" who|strong="G3739" makes everything|strong="G3956" agree with|strong="G1722" what|strong="G3739" he|strong="G2532" decides and|strong="G2532" wants|strong="G2307".
12 We|strong="G2249" Jews were|strong="G1510" the|strong="G3588" first|strong="G4276" to|strong="G1519" hope|strong="G4276" in|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547". And|strong="G1391" we|strong="G2249" were|strong="G1510" chosen so|strong="G1519" that|strong="G0846" we|strong="G2249" would|strong="G5547" bring|strong="G1519" praise|strong="G1868" to|strong="G1519" God|strong="G0846" in|strong="G1722" all|strong="G3588" his|strong="G0846" glory|strong="G1391".

You|strong="G5210" heard|strong="G0191" the|strong="G3588" true|strong="G0225" message|strong="G3056", the|strong="G3588" Good|strong="G2098" News|strong="G3056" about|strong="G1722" the|strong="G3588" way|strong="G1722" God|strong="G0191" saves you|strong="G5210". When|strong="G2532" you|strong="G5210" heard|strong="G0191" that|strong="G3739" Good|strong="G2098" News|strong="G3056", you|strong="G5210" believed|strong="G4100" in|strong="G1722" Christ. And|strong="G2532" in|strong="G1722" Christ, God|strong="G0191" put|strong="G4972" his|strong="G0191" special mark on|strong="G1722" you|strong="G5210" by|strong="G1722" giving you|strong="G5210" the|strong="G3588" Holy|strong="G0040" Spirit|strong="G4151" that|strong="G3739" he|strong="G2532" promised|strong="G1860".
14 The|strong="G3588" Spirit is|strong="G1510" the|strong="G3588" first payment that|strong="G3739" guarantees we|strong="G2249" will|strong="G1510" get all|strong="G3588" that|strong="G3739" God|strong="G0846" has|strong="G3739" for|strong="G1519" us|strong="G1519". Then|strong="G0846" we|strong="G2249" will|strong="G1510" enjoy complete freedom as|strong="G1519" people|strong="G0846" who|strong="G3739" belong|strong="G1510" to|strong="G1519" him|strong="G0846". The|strong="G3588" goal for|strong="G1519" all|strong="G3588" of|strong="G1391" us|strong="G1519" is|strong="G1510" the|strong="G3588" praise|strong="G1868" of|strong="G1391" God|strong="G0846" in|strong="G1519" all|strong="G3588" his|strong="G0846" glory|strong="G1391".
17 I|strong="G1473" always pray|strong="G2443" to|strong="G2443" the|strong="G3588" great and|strong="G2532" glorious|strong="G1391" Father|strong="G3962", the|strong="G3588" God|strong="G2316" of|strong="G4151" our|strong="G2316" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547". It|strong="G0846" is|strong="G5101" the|strong="G3588" same|strong="G0846" as|strong="G1519" the|strong="G3588" mighty|strong="G1411" power|strong="G1411"
20 he|strong="G2532" used to|strong="G2532" raise|strong="G1453" Christ|strong="G5547" from|strong="G1537" death|strong="G3498" and|strong="G2532" put him|strong="G0846" at|strong="G1722" his|strong="G0846" right|strong="G1188" side in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G3588" heavenly|strong="G2032" places.
21 He|strong="G2532" put Christ over|strong="G1849" all|strong="G3956" rulers|strong="G0746", authorities|strong="G1849", powers|strong="G1411", and|strong="G2532" kings. He|strong="G2532" gave him|strong="G2532" authority|strong="G1849" over|strong="G1849" everything|strong="G3956" that|strong="G3778" has|strong="G3778" power|strong="G1411" in|strong="G1722" this|strong="G3778" world|strong="G0165" or|strong="G2532" in|strong="G1722" the|strong="G3956" next world|strong="G0165".

23 The|strong="G3956" church is|strong="G1510" Christ’s|strong="G0846" body|strong="G4983". It|strong="G0846" is|strong="G1510" filled|strong="G4137" with|strong="G1722" him|strong="G0846". He|strong="G0846" makes everything|strong="G3956" complete|strong="G4137" in|strong="G1722" every|strong="G3956" way|strong="G1722".
